  1. @HillaryClinton I'm here today to honor our democracy & its enduring values. I will never stop believing in our country & its future. #Inauguration I watched her walking in with Bill. It has to be hard showing such grace and poise, knowing that but for the Russian and Comey interference, this would be her inauguration.
  2. I left here because the personal attacks on anyone who didn't follow the groupthink got boorish. I've been posting in a political thread on the Sabres forum, but the moderators deleted it last month and said it had to be done in this forum. So I'm left with coming here, but I see the intolerance and personal attacks hasn't changed.
  3. That I get repremanded and get a thread deleted, and you're allowed to personally attack me? Yes it is.
  4. Thank you for that non "inflammatory rhetoric of hyper partisanship" that contributes to the dialogue.
  5. So now we can't even use Republicans own words? That's the common rhetoric we're hearing from Trump supporters; forget everything we said or did in the past that is now hypocritical and move on. A majority of Americans disapprove of Trump, and he doesn't even have a plurality with 40% approving of his transition. That is all a part of the inauguration story. You have the power to delete my posts, but if you're going to just allow one side to express their opinions then you should change the forum name to Conservative Politics, Polls, and Pundits.
  6. I agree with that, but conservatives supported him, so they have to own it.
  7. Hoping that Trump will 'Grab them by the p####'? But like Trump's first two wives, they've probably aged out of his preferred range.
  8. He wasn't asked to preach at Obama's either. In fact a preacher who made anti-gay remarks was removed from speaking at Obama's inauguration.
  9. A pastor with a long history of inflammatory remarks about Muslims, Mormons, Catholics and gays is scheduled to preach at a private service for President-elect Trump and his family on Friday, shortly before Trump takes the oath of office. The pastor, the Rev. Robert Jeffress, is a Southern Baptist who vigorously campaigned for Trump during the final months of the presidential election and is a member of his evangelical advisory board. "I love this guy!", Trump has said of Jeffress. Jeffress leads a 12,000-member megachurch in Dallas and is a frequent guest on Fox News. But to many Americans, he may be best known for his frequent condemnations of Mormonism as a "cult" during the 2012 presidential campaign. He urged Christians not to vote for Mitt Romney, a Mormon, during the Republican primary. He later supported Romney over President Barack Obama. Jeffress has also called Islam and Mormonism heresies "from the pit of hell," suggested that the Catholic church was led astray by Satan, accused Obama of "paving the way" for the Antichrist and spread false statistics about the prevalence of HIV among gays, who he said live a "miserable" and "filthy" lifestyle. In recent years, Jeffress has frequently denounced Islam, calling it an "evil religion" that "promotes pedophilia" because the Prophet Muhammed married a 9-year-old girl. (Many modern Muslim scholars disagree about her age.) The pastor has also said that Mormons, Muslims and Hindus "worship a false god." http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/19/politics/trump-jeffress-pastor/index.html
  10. Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.
  11. His link to Tyrod worries me that they're going to commit to him, and 3 more years of QB mediocracy.
  12. KeyBank Center seats 19,200 for basketball, more than 15 NBA cities.
  13. I've been to 4 games in the past decade, mostly to give my son the experience. The continued mediocrity of the team and the increased obnoxious behavior by fans tempered my desire to travel 2 1/2 hours both ways. So about $700.
  14. I was overjoyed and grateful when the Pegulas bought the team. But their mistake was not cleaning house and hiring someone with football knowledge to run the organization. Now we are left with the lingering effects of their trusting their own instincts on how to run the team and who to hire, and the same people (Brandon, Whaley) who have contributed to the mediocrity. On the other hand, if Trump had bought the team it may have been regionally painful but saved the nation from the coming s##t storm.
  15. The Bills are planning to interview Ted Marchibroda's hologram.
  16. The Trump impulse for ironic statements flows down party. A county commissioner in Georgia accused Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) of being "a racist pig" over the weekend after the congressman criticized President-elect Donald Trump. Tommy Hunter, a Republican on the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, wrote two Facebook posts about Lewis and "Demonrats" on Saturday and Sunday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Both appeared to have been deleted as of Monday morning. "John Lewis is a racist pig", Hunter wrote on Saturday, according to a screenshot posted by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "There aint one political pundit that didnt say on November 9 that this would be Demonrats EXACT response to Trump winning. Like I heard Rush, I believe say, Demonrats DO NOT live in reality. They believe polls were right and THE REAL VOTES were wrong. What a bunch of idiots." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/georgia-county-commissioner-john-lewis-racist_us_587ceaf6e4b0b3c7a7b2181e
  17. You don't seem to know history, that southern Democrats switched to the Republican party after LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act. But keep pushing the false narrative.
  18. They figured they couldn't compete with the incoming Trump circus.
  19. I'm afraid he's leaning towards keeping him. More years in the QB desert without looking for a better alternative.
