  1. Hard to tell by the way so many have been defending Trump. And hard to have a conversation with people that call me an idiot, a crybaby, and a piece of s##t. But that's ok, I'm not insecure like Trump. I'll continue to express my opinion, and they're free to ignore it. But it seems like they can't resist.
  2. Did I snipe, I just posted a fact. My wife went, I had to stay home for work. My son and his girlfriend are at the Boston rally. But I fully support them, and if there are other rallies that I can attend, I will.
  3. BREAKING: @CNN reports more people on National Mall for #WomensMarch than yesterday at this time for inauguration.
  4. They did, 3 million more. But even some Trump voters now regret their vote.
  5. So many people still angry even though you got the results you wanted. It shows an insecurity that you know your short term gains are not sustainable given the changing demographics. Good to know that a couple of us can get all of you to show your insecurities, just like Trump is insecure given that he is viewed as illegitimate by so many Americans. 40% approval rating on inauguration day, are you kidding me?! Less than the non-plurality that voted for him. Arnold should tweet those numbers back to Trump.
  6. The Interior Department has been banned from Twitter after the retweet of picture of smaller-than-usual Trump inauguration crowd. So any information that makes Dear Leader look bad will be banned. 1984 redux.
  7. So no response on if Trump's correspondence, or even if tax returns were disclosed. Again, if the Russians released what they have on Trump before the election, it would have adversly impacted his numbers, as their actions affected Clinton's. Now they'll use them to potentally blackmail or embarrass him, but too late for the voters to factor in their vote. The consesus of the intelligence agencies is that the Russians hacked and released the information to hurt Clinton. If you reject that fact, I can't relate to your alt-right truth filtered world. As for the Comey letter, Clinton's poll numbers took a dramatic drop after it was released. By the time he said there was nothing new, the damage was done. Cause and effect.
  8. Well given that 79% of Americans had a favorable opinion of Obama on his inauguration, there few if any protests. Trump has only a 40% favroable, which means that even a percentage of people that voted for him don't like him, so you would expect more protests from among the 60% of Americans. It didn't take long for the White House website to reflect the new administration. The sections on LGBT, the disabled, and civil rights, and climate change action have been removed.
  9. I'd say there's less than 3 million people there, so more than in the picture did vote for Clinton.
  10. Victim blaming, an interesting concept. In the interest of fairness, could Trump have withstood the scrutiny if he was the victim of Russian hacking and publicity of internal emails? He wouldn't even give Americans the courtesy of seeing his tax returns. You have to be pretty naive to think there aren't any details in it that would tarish his image or show conflicts of interests, such as loans from Russia and/or China.
  11. Comparison of Obama's 2009 crowd vs Trump's "Yuge, biggest ever" crowd. I see alot of empty whites, and I'm not just talking about the crowd.
  12. Every American vote should have equal weight regardless of where a person lives. Why should 3 million American votes not count, but 75 thousand among 3 states should make the decision? Other democracies do just fine with the popular vote. To be determined, if the Republicans allow for a full investigation of the Russian interference.
  13. 3 million more of the American voters in that map voted for Clinton instead of Trump.
  14. I agree, I believe in protests not riots. These people don't represent the vast majority against Trump who are and will protest peacefully.
  15. OK, I've had enough, I'm going to lunch. Enjoy the day, it's only going down from here. Skynet is active.
  16. Not a very inspirational or unifying speech. It sounds like an election stump speech.
  17. Obama won fair and square without outside interference. Her vote on the Iraq War resolution was not in sync with the majority of Democrats who agreed with Obama's vote against it, and wanted the next president to withdraw our troops from Iraq.
  18. @HillaryClinton I'm here today to honor our democracy & its enduring values. I will never stop believing in our country & its future. #Inauguration I watched her walking in with Bill. It has to be hard showing such grace and poise, knowing that but for the Russian and Comey interference, this would be her inauguration.
  19. I left here because the personal attacks on anyone who didn't follow the groupthink got boorish. I've been posting in a political thread on the Sabres forum, but the moderators deleted it last month and said it had to be done in this forum. So I'm left with coming here, but I see the intolerance and personal attacks hasn't changed.
  20. That I get repremanded and get a thread deleted, and you're allowed to personally attack me? Yes it is.
