  1. Hasselbeck plays in Seattle where it rains all the time, and he didn't look good either. Plus Edwards only played in 6 offensive series in the pre-season, so a little rust is to be expected.
  2. Agreed. After the way the Jags played today, they don't seem like the same powerhouse as last year. Hopefully Stroud will show up his old team.
  3. Even though I completely despise the Pats, I hate to see anyone get hurt. It definitely leaves the AFC East wide open. Great game today, and hopefully many more throughout the season.
  4. It's tough just to pick one, when all 3 phases of the game were great. Stroud was a beast, Mitchell was awesome. Lynch had some good runs, including the 22 yd TD run. Edwards looked sharp. And special teams was phenomenal. I'll give my vote to Parrish for that incredible punt return, it looked like he was gonna get stopped 4 times during the return, but he slipped & slided and drove to the end zone.
  5. I just came back from Wegman's in Dale City and got a ham sub & a 12 pack of Labatt's for the game tomorrow, so I'm ready now.
  6. Diamonds are forever, and so are the 4 Horsemen...Whoooooooooooo!!!!! Nice old school wrestling pic.
  7. I don't think Ray killed anyone, but I think he was trying to protect his friends in which he should have served longer in jail for that. Athlete's like Ray Lewis, Mike Vick & Pacman Jones should have distance themselves from their troublemaking friends. When you're an athlete, you're in the public view and held to a higher standard. It's a privledge to play professional sports, not a right. Besides that, Ray was and still is an awesome athlete. Ray is like a defensive coordinator when he's out on the field, and he's very motivating. I do respect him as an athlete.
  8. The front office did the right thing. You can't let the inmates run the aslyum. If they would have caved in to Peters' demands, how many more players would do the same thing and hold out for more money?
  9. Same here, I'm even more pumped after hearing that Peters is finally showing up.
  10. The Bills will wait on Peters' deal after Evans is done. I think Evans will have a new contract by the end of the season. GO BILLS!!!!!
  11. I figured Peters would report this week, I'm just surprised he's waiting until the last day before the season starts. The news about Crowell sucked, but this news is definitely uplifting. I'm very interested in hearing from Peters about why he sat out for so long.
  12. From Chris Brown (bb.com): POZ ON HIS ANKLE: Middle linebacker Paul Posluszny practiced fully on Friday after sitting out Thursday with an ankle injury. Posluszny confirmed after Friday’s practice that he’s ready to go for Sunday. “It was just a little tweak nothing major,” said Posluszny. “One day off was all I needed and now it’s completely back to normal.” Spencer Johnson also practiced fully. Derek Fine and Matt Murphy were the only non-participants. Blake Costanzo practiced after being re-signed and could play on special teams Sunday according to head coach Dick Jauron. ---
  13. I agree. You have your bandwagon fans, and the one's that believe we're still a mediocre football team and will still be a below .500 team. We're gonna do great this year, and I still feel we'll be a 10-6 to 11-5 team.
  14. If the Bills go 7-9 or less, Jauron will be gone. Otherwise he'll be staying put.
  15. Bills 31 Seahawks 17 The offense will put together a couple of long time consuming drives, followed by some deep passes later on in the game. The defense will be solid and force Hassellbeck to use his rookie WR's to try and beat us. Good returns will help us get good field position.
  16. I'm still trying to finish college, so don't feel bad.
  17. That's awesome!!! I went to P.I. on my way down to Disneyworld last year. It was my first time there since boot camp in 96', a lot has changed on base since then.
  18. I think the Bills are seriously P.O.'d at Crowell for waiting this long to have surgery, especially 3 days before the season opener. Crowell missed the 1st pre-season game because of his knee, and I'm sure the Bills feel if he needed surgery, he should have done it when he knew he wasn't going to make the 1st pre-season game. I was extremely optimistic going into the season, this puts a big damper on my optimism.
  19. Awesome! Where are you (or were) stationed at? What MP class were you?
