  1. We won't find out if the Safety from the Cards will get fined or suspended until Friday. If the NFL fines/suspends that guy, then we all know it was a dirty hit. If he doesn't get fined/suspended then it wasn't a dirty hit. So we'll all have to wait until the end of the week to see what the ruling is.
  2. I think one foot was initially off the ground, but when the safety hit Edwards, it caused both feet to leave the ground. I think Edwards stepped into his throw as much as he could, because he knew he was going to take a hit.
  3. We're stuck with Schobel until the end of the year. Maybe at the end of the 2008 season, we can trade and get something in return for him. I don't know who will be available in FA. Will DE be a top priority for us in the draft this year? I would hope so. Schobel has 1 sack in 5 games played this year, and including the 16 games from last year, he only has 7.5 sacks in 21 games. Those are bad numbers, and are definitely not worth the $7 million a year he is getting.
  4. Here are some stats: Aaron Schobel Games played (including 2007-2008): 21 Sacks during that period: 7.5 Sacks through the 1st 5 games: 1 Chris Kelsay Games played (including 2007-2008): 19 Sacks during that period: 3.5 Sacks through the 1st 5 games: 1 Ryan Denney Games played (including 2007-2008): 12 Sacks during that period: 2 Sacks through the 1st 5 games: 1 So far, our DE's have only gotten 3 sacks out of 5 games. So is this really a retarded thread? 3 sacks by our DE's, and it's retarded to think we need better DE's? Schobel has 7.5 sacks in 21 games, but it's retarded to think that he's not getting the job done?!
  5. Really, another person that thinks our DE's are doing a great job. The only one I see doing anything is Kelsay, that's it. Schobel is NOT worth the money he is getting, if you seriously think he is, than you're the one that's retarded.
  6. NO POLITICS!!!!! What the hell does Travis Henry & Politics have in common....NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I really wouldn't call that a jump, it looked like he was using his hips with his throw.
  8. I guess we can start singing "happy trails" to Henry. He's gonna do some hard time for this.
  9. Same here. Now that we upgraded our DT's, will they finally upgrade our DE's in the offseason?
  10. Sounds like Mel Palano from Timon H.S., that old bastard used to do that stuff in gym class. Glad I didn't stay at Timon long.
  11. I thought I heard it was around 3 kilos (6.6lbs), plus pounds of marijuana as well.
  12. I'll have to check. From what I saw, it looked like he was following through on his pass (which is what he did on the TD to Parrish).
  13. That was just a sarcastic comment that I made (the meaning behind it, both O.J. & Henry played for the Bills). The rest of the article is legit.
  14. Jauron needs to lock up the O-Line for a couple of days before the game, and not feed them. After that, I'm sure they'll do their jobs as they won't want to miss a meal again.
  15. I agree, I wonder if that was the turning point for him, or was he already a scum bag and we didn't know it?
  16. Yes, there were a bunch of things that happened during the game that hurt us, but that's not the point of this thread. We get, you think it's a clean hit, good for you.
  17. Travis Henry update: "DENVER—Former starting Denver Broncos running back Travis Henry is due in federal court this afternoon for a preliminary and detention hearing after being arrested following an alleged cocaine deal. He faces one count of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. If convicted, Henry could face up to life in federal prison and a four (m) million dollar fine. Henry signed a five-year, $22.5 million contract with the Broncos before the 2007 season, but was dogged during training camp by a sprained left knee. Henry was released from the Broncos June 2, when coach Mike Shanahan said his commitment was lacking". Looks like him & O.J. will be cell mates.
  18. I agree. I was saying the same thing at the end of last season, if we can't get pressure on the QB, good QB's will tear us apart.
  19. Trent didn't jump, he followed through on his throw. If you think this topic is lame, then why continue to post on it?
