  1. Obviously, Polian was our best GM. Even though Butler & Phillips biggest boneheaded move was trading for the one-hit wonder Rob Johnson (and ultimately creating a bad QB controversy), Butler was still a decent GM and we still made the playoffs during his time in Buffalo (even though we didn't win a playoff game).
  2. Losman barely won against a 1-15 Dolphins team last year, what makes you think he'll win this Sunday if he plays?
  3. Whoever the offensive coordinator is for Detroit.
  4. If the season were to be over, we would draft 15th. Seems like there are a lot of teams worse off than us. It sucks to be thinking draft at this point, but I'm not too optimistic about our chances the rest of the way.
  5. Failing to get a real #2 receiver hurt this team. Banking on a rookie to make an immediate impact as a #2 receiver was a huge mistake. Roscoe Parrish has become the Josh Reed of old with all of his drops. Parrish is more of a 4th or 5th WR, not #3. Steve Johnson should be getting more playing time and more looks at the #3 position. Schoumann & Fine are good backup TE's, but we need a legitimate staring TE not Royal. A good center would be nice. But most importantly, it would be nice to finally have a real head coach, instead of going the cheap rout & hiring coordinators to do the job.
  6. Parrish has made some boneheaded moves, plus started dropping a lot of balls thrown to him. But McKelvin is becoming a top-notch returner with giving good field position the last few weeks. We haven't given up any big runs on kickoffs. So you really can't blame Parrish's stupidity and Lindell's missed FG's on April. What you can blame on the coaches is why do you give the ball to your backup RB in a goaline situation, when your #1 RB is averaging almost 9 yards a carry? Jauron needs to be fired ASAP!!
  7. That was a nice streak, but don't you also need to be successful from 40+ as well? The coaches don't have a ton of confidence in Lindell. Perfect example, the Blizzard game last year, they didn't even give him a chance that game. I liked Lindell, it was nice seeing him have a good streak going, but I think his confidence got shattered after missing the 47 yarder in the Browns game this year. The same thing happened to Vanderjagt, he had a great streak going and once it was snapped, he lost his confidence and was never the same.
  8. If it was extended, then why hasn't the team made an official announcement yet? Besides that, Chicago gave Jauron an extension as HC, then fired him at the end of the season.
  9. It seems that the coaches are favoring Jackson more than Lynch. I don't understand why they continue to use jackson more in goal line situations than Lynch? Another reason why jauron should be canned.
  10. I worry about that as well. I just hope Jauron gets the boot at the end of the season, if any sooner, that would be an early christmas gift.
  11. Do you really feel confident in Lindell if we needed a 45+ yard FG? How in the hell do you miss a 20 yard FG? That's pathetic!!
  12. I'd wish Ralph & Al Davis would get together, join the same nursing home and ride into the sunset. Both guys are too old and out of touch that they're doing more harm than good. Please Ralph, sell the team to Jim Kelly.
  13. Hate to say it, but every time we've had a terrible head coach and GM over the last 10 years, he has not been fired until the end of the year. Gregg Williams, end of the year. Tom Donahoe, end of the year. The last time I remember a HC being fired during the year was Hank Bullough. I hope Ralph is at that point where he would fire Jauron now, but unfortunately, I don't think that will happen.
  14. You mean "taught" me
  15. I agree. Enough sub-par, mediocre football. Ralph should reach further into his pocket book and hire a proven HC, instead of pinching pennies and getting coordinators to come in as HC.
  16. Lindell is not a reliable kicker. Look at the cleveland game & today's game. I wouldn't even compare Lindell to Norwood, at least Norwood was consistent from under 45 yards. Cut Lindell loose after the season and either pick up a kicker in FA or the later rounds of the draft.
  17. The only coach I would keep is Bobby April. Special Teams has been the only thing that has been good on this team for the last few years. I agree with you 100% about Ralph, sell the team to Jim Kelly or someone who will keep the team in Buffalo.
  18. Hate to say it, but I agree.
  19. Can Ralph make Bobby April the iterm head coach?
  20. Is Moulds playing for anyone right now?
  21. Either Holmgren or Cowher. If Jauron fails to get us to 10-6, he should be fired. There's no excuses for him this year.
