  1. Yesterday, nothing went right for us, period. That's all I'm gonna say about the game. After 5 games last year, we were 1-4. So, I'm much happier being 4-1. I feel we have a better team this year, and ultimately will go at least 11-5 and make it to the playoffs. This team is young, and they're gonna make mistakes. But we're going in the right direction, and I still think we're gonna have a good season. Let's just hope we get some players back for the Chargers game, and the whole team wakes up from this weekends loss and bounces back hard in 2 weeks.
  2. I watched that as well. It was good until the last play of Superbowl XXV. I agree that this is a 16 game season, and all teams lay an egg or tow during the season. Let's hope our team, rebounds like the 1990 team.
  3. I watched it several times and the top of his helmet was in his chin as he was going through his tackle, and even while they were on the ground. It was a dirty hit. Also, the same guy ripped off Lynch's helmet, I take it that was clean in your opinion too?!
  4. I agree, which is why I called this guy a troller. He does have some valid points, but I noticed he waited until we lost a game to start posting.
  5. So jamming your helmet into the QB's chin while tackling him, and continuing to drive your helmet into his chin even after your on the ground is considered a legal hit?! Really!!! I could understand if the safety nailed Edwards and knocked him to the ground, because Edwards just released the ball, but he purposely drove Edwards to the ground with the intent to injure. I saw the replay several times. If he didn't want to injure Edwards, he would have just nailed Edwards without driving him to the ground.
  6. I guess you thought Wilfork's hit on Losman last year was clean too?!
  7. Hargrove was suspended for 1 year due to violating the substance abuse policy. Last year he missed the 1st 4 games because of that, and in the offseason he "Popped" again, which by NFL rules, mandates a 1 year suspension. Yes, Schoebel is good against the run. But is that alone worthy of $7 million a year? He hasn't been able to get consistent pressure on the QB last year & this year. Yes, he had a break out year a few years ago when he had 14 sacks, but his production has slipped big time since then. I'm not saying replace him this second, but in the offseason.
  8. I've been saying for years that we've needed better DE's. I've been on Schobel all season long. He hasn't done jack sh*t this season, so I'm not just saying this after 1 game. Schoebel looked bad last year and only got 5.5 sacks, but he got a pass on the season because we had bad DT's, and the excuse was he was getting double-teamed. On paper, we were told that our new DT's would free up our DE's, so far it hasn't worked for Schoebel.
  9. I get tired of hearing the excuse that Schoebel is always double-teamed. How many times was Bruce Smith doubled-teamed and he still got pressure to the QB. If Schoebel can only get pressure 1 on 1, then he should be paid much less than $7 million a year. For $7 million a year, he needs to be doing a lot more.
  10. So far this season, Schoebel should be getting the minimum for veteran players, not $7 million a year. It would be nice to see if we can trade him, and get something in return. Plus, I think Denney should be cut. I'd like to see more of Chris Ellis. I know Anthony Hargrove is suspended for a year, but is he still under contract with us? I wonder if managment would try to bring him back next year. Either way, DE should be a high priority in the off-season.
  11. It looks like we finally have a successor to Jim Kelly, now we need to find a successor to Frank Reich.
  12. I agree. They should cut Denney & insert Ellis. Plus I think we should trade Schoebel in the off-season, he is not earning his $7 million a year. DE should be a high priority for the draft.
  13. Leryn Franco, the olympic javelin player from paraguay
  14. In my opinion, that hit on Edwards was dirty. The defender had his head into Edwards' chin, and continued to drive his helmet into Edwards while they were on the ground. I hope that S.O.B. get fined & suspended.
  15. It's time to get rid of Schoebel & Denney. Hopefully, we can trade Schoebel, and cut Denney. Our pass rush has been a problem for a few years now, and this game really exposed it. I know Hargrove is suspended for a year, but is he still officially a Buffalo Bill?
  16. After 4 Superbowl losses, if we're not ready to win a superbowl, then I don't want to see us there. Can anyone handle the defeat of a 5th superbowl loss? I would rather get to the superbowl knowing we can definitely win the game. And yes, it would be great to win the superbowl over the Cowboys, Giants or Redskins, especially the Cowboys!!
  17. It stinks to lose Parrish, because he is as quick as lightning. Now it gives our rookies a chance to see what they can do. At least we're playing the Rams this week, I'd be worried if this happened right before we played the Chargers or Broncos.
  18. Chris Brown reported that Roscoe injured his thumb during the game, and still played with it hurt even when he caught the TD pass from Edwards. http://buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=6659
  19. Hopefully we see more of Hardy, and maybe Stevie Johnson as well. This stinks!!! At least we have the bye week during his injury. Plus, it will give McKelvin more reps at returning punts/kickoffs.
  20. Not trying to get ahead of ourselves, but if both teams keep playing this well, it could mean the battle of home field advantage in the AFC during the playoffs.
  21. I agree. Sounds like him & Marshall Faulk should be buddies, they're both idiots when it comes to announcing.
  22. Whether we win by 50 points or 1 point, it doesn't matter, a win is a win. So far, with 2 4th quarter comebacks in a row, I'm very impressed with Edwards. It would be nice to see him lined up in Shotgun formation more often, as he did his best work of the day in the shotgun.
  23. I agree, we should enjoy the ride. It's been 16 years since we were 3-0, so have fun and enjoy it. Yes, our team can use some fine tuning, but we're winning and that's all that matters.
