  1. Is his name Bob DiCeasare, or Matt Millen? Sure looks like Matt Millen.
  2. Whoa, I didn't realize we were talking with a football god here, well excuse us (sarcasm!!!). Okay, if you say this is a lame thread, then it really must be a lame thread?! You are right about finishing tackles, there's nothing wrong with finishing your tackles. But the NFL put rules into effect to protect it's players. Call it wussy, wimpy or whatever, but how many players careers were ended because of concussions? I can name 3 HOF's, Jim Kelly, Steve Young & Troy Aikman. I think everyone loves seeing a good hit, but no one wants to see anyone get a bad injury. Like I said, if you have a problem with the rules the NFL set up about hits on the QB, take it up with them. Stop bitching & moaning that people on here are discussing a hit that knocked out our QB. If you don't like the topic, don't read it, plain & simple.
  3. Thanks Lori, I'll remember for next time. Anyways, how are you doing today?
  4. Obviously, this post means something to you, even though you say it doesn't. If this post is as useless, and meaningless as you proclaim, you would've stop posting a long time ago. Bottom line, the NFL fined Wilson because he violated the rules that they set up. If you have a problem with those rules, contact the NFL and complain to them.
  5. The NFL just proved it was a dirty hit according to their rules & regulations. Just suck it up and admit you were wrong.
  6. From Buffalorumblings.com: Buffalo still struggling to rush passer in 2008
  7. 7.5 sacks in 21 games, 1 sack in 5 games this year. The numbers speak for themselves.
  8. Maybe, the answer to Schobel's problem is that he needs a dominating DE to compliment him. I always felt that Schobel was a great complimentary DE to a better, more dominating DE (Like Phil Hansen was to Bruce Smith). I know we got spoiled with Bruce Smith, but we need to get someone who can get more pressure to the QB than Schobel, Kelsay & Denney. Those 3 guys have 1 sack each this year, we need more production from them.
  9. After 5 games, Schobel has 1 sack. Let's see how many sacks in another 5 games, then we'll revisit the question.
  10. Nice fantasy, it's time to wake up now nibblenuts (which is exactly what you do).
  11. Except the Giants liverlips! And Brady got lucky against the Ravens, if it wasn't for their boneheaded defensive coordinator calling a last second time out, the ravens would've won too.
  12. I've been saying our pass-rush has been lacking for a few years now. Our DE's have a combined 3 sacks in 5 games played this year. The holes on this team have been getting smaller every year, but there are still holes. If you give a good QB time to throw, he will tear up your defense, like when Brady tore us up twice last year, and Warner did on Sunday.
  13. Your right, Schobel is a very good run blocker, but DE's are also suppose to get pressure on the QB, not just run block. For $7 million a year, he needs to do both.
  14. Every team lays an egg or two during the season. Even our beloved teams of the 90's laid an egg during their time. I'm glad this loss will linger on them for 2 weeks, maybe we'll see a fired up Bills team vs the Chargers.
  15. I don't blame Stroud, he can't play DT & DE at the same time. He's been doing his job of plugging up the middle. Our DE's only have 3 sacks combined in 5 games, that's horrible.
  16. If that's the case, would Denney or Kelsay get the axe, and we draft a DE in the draft (1st or 2nd round)? I would lean more on Denney getting cut.
  17. Some people that posted on here forgot to read the last part of the topic: "after the season" I haven't been happy with Schobel's play for 2 years now, and he's not getting the job done. We're stuck with him until the end of the season. So maybe once the season is over with, Bills Brass will try and trade him and get something in return. We could use his salary to get better players who are actually worth $7 million a year.
