  1. Our #1 priority should be a proven GM.
  2. So you're saying that T.O. doesn't have an attitude and didn't take plays off? That's not what I saw in the Titans game.
  3. I don't get people's fascinations with Brian Billick. Billick had the great defenses but couldn't get it right with the offense. He won the Superbowl with Trent Dilfer and then screwed it up the next year by getting rid of Dilfer and bringing in Grbac. If it's not broke, don't fix it (see Johnson/Flutie). Besides the Superbowl win, the Ravens under Billick had minimal success. He had one good season with McNair and that was it. Fassel and Haslett, same thing, one good season with and that was it.
  4. I agree that Trent has screwed up on passes to T.O. It didn't help Trent's case that T.O. only played one series in one pre-season game due to a sneaker injury. Fitz is further along than Trent is with recoginizing defenses, making audibles and adjusting to players. I'm a firm believer in starting the better player at any position, no matter if that person is a 1st rounder, 7th rounder or a undrafted free agent.
  5. We've seen on the Bills reports from Training Camp that Edwards was throwing passes of 60 yards or more, but when it comes to the regular season, his longest pass is for 40 yards. Edwards has the arm, but IMO, Jauron held back Edwards.
  6. Please leave politics out of this. I don't want another thread turned into a political debate. Like I said previously, I don't know if it was Edwards, Jauron or both, but you have to look at the numbers and wonder why there's been a huge difference. I think the infusion of Fewell & Fitz is a big reason, but was their motive to get some changes made?
  7. I do agree with you & Jim Kelly, no more California QB's.
  8. You forgot Columbus Day. Did Uncle Freddie die?? The Jerky Boys never said what happen to him? Is a man standing on a toilet high on pot?
  9. To those that say Edwards was not throwing T.O. the ball, that's a bunch of bull. The majority of passes that Edwards threw to his WR's were to T.O. IMO, Jauron severly hindered Edwards' progression this year. In training camp, we heard on multiple occasions that Edwards & T.O. hooked up for 60 yard plays and other long passes, but 10 days before the start of the season, Schonert gets fired and stated "Jauron said there were too many plays and wanted a pop-warner offense." It's obvious that Fitz does a much better job at reading defenses and changing the plays at the line of scrimmage, but for T.O. to almost double his numbers in 2 games compared to his first 9, you've got to wonder if he was barely giving an effort. T.O. said that Edwards was either underthrowing or overthrowing him, yes on some plays Edwards did, but the others, T.O. had them in his hands and dropped them. Plus, a lot of the blame should be placed on T.O. on why him & Edwards never got into a rythym, T.O. missed 99% of the pre-season because he hurt his foot by wearing the wrong sneakers...coincedence or did he purposely say that to miss the pre-season (kind of like Bruce Smith getting his knee scoped before the start of training camp to avoid the pre-season).
  10. It's finally nice to see T.O. and the Bills playing better again, but it's very obvious that T.O. was purposely playing like crap to either get Edwards out or both Edwards & Jauron out. Look at his stats in the first 9 games: 366 yards, 1 TD (rec) 1 TD (rush) and led the league in dropped balls. Now look at the last 2 games: 293 yards and 2 TD's, did he even drop a ball in those 2 games? (not sure, but I'd say no). In Edwards' last game, the last 2 passes Edwards threw to T.O., he ran half-azzed and barely made an attempt to catch the ball. So if T.O. doesn't get his way and the people he wants in there, he's not gonna give 100%, more like 40-50% at best. Conspiracy theory or truth? Your thoughts...
  11. Shannnahan? Shenannigan? Sheboygan? Sheman?
  12. Why is it called "Hardware". It's not all hard and you don't wear any of it? Wow, I guess no one around here can have dream scenarios.
  13. Shanahan as HC, Weiss as OC and Crennel as DC, I'd take that combo.
  14. First off, why is Dallas' name mentioned when it comes to a HC job next season. The Cowgirls are in first place in the NFC East and plan on firing Wade Phillips?! Really?! Second, like other posters have stated, if we didn't have a shot at Shanahan, then why we he agree to meet with us and spend 7 hours over a two day period talking to Brandon? Clayton is a baffoon. We're gonna continue to hear other ass clowns like him saying Shanahan, Cowher, Holmgren and the other available top tier coaches are gonna want to go to DC or other high profile cities.
  15. In 2 weeks, we've seen a different Bills team on the field. I think we should all wait until the end of the season and see how the team finishes. I do think at a minimum, we need a GM that can get the right guys in here and a new strength & conditioning coach.
  16. The first priority is to rebuild the O-line. I agree with drafting a QB in the first or 2nd round and have an open competition for the starting QB slot. If the Bills FO decides to cut Trent loose after this season and decide to draft a QB in the 1st or 2nd round, I think the Bills should have Fitz being the starting QB next year and give the rookie QB a year to watch and develop (like the Bengals did with Palmer his first year).
  17. I am so sick of hearing Bruschi's name, especially since that game when he came back from his stroke. The entire game, you heard all the announcers say "Tedy Bruschi this.... Tedy Bruschi that..." in the words of Tarbash "The Egyptian Magician" (Jerky Boys) SHUT DE F@CK UP!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I should have had Jenny Mcarthy & Stacy Keibler sit on my face.
  19. Jauron's boneheaded decisions have cost us mulitple games each year he was here. But, McKelvin and Parrish are the one's to blame on the losses to the Pats & Browns. Even if Parrish didn't fumble, the game was still 3-3 at that point, would we have beaten the Browns? For the last 4 years, make that the last 10 years, we've had "we should of been...", let's just hope Ralph does the right thing this offseason and brings in the right people, that way we don't have so many "we should of been" records.
  20. When Kelsay was out with an injury and Hargrove was filling in, our D-line were getting a lot of sacks per game. It's too bad him and Travis Henry couldn't stay off the dope.
  21. You do have a point to a certain degree. All of us want to see the Bills go all the way and win the Superbowl. We've been craving to get back to the Superbowl ever since we last went in the early 90's. But a lot of us are also football fans as well. I'll watch any game as long as it's exciting and fun to watch. The best is seeing any Bills victory, but second to that is seeing any team beat the Patriots and last night's game was awesome to watch.
  22. Perry Fewell is making a strong case to be the permanent Head Coach. I doubt he gets the permanent job, but he has this team playing with a lot of energy. It's nice to see the Bills playing with some attitude and doing some trash talking.
