  2. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/02/12/d...is-the-concern/ Here's a link on why the Bills might sign Porter. They don't have enough depth at LB.
  3. A 3rd rounder, plus throw in Marshawn Lynch.
  4. That would be the best thing to happen to the Bills since we went to the Superbowls in the 90's.
  5. Bill also forgot to mention the numerous dropped passes Collie, Garcon and Wayne. The WR's need to be held accountable as well.
  6. The guy is a huge pile of sh@t, plus he admitted to playing half-azzed and being lazy. Just more reason why the Bills shouldn't even consider this piece of garbage.
  7. We got about 2 feet over the weekend and more last night/today. They don't have the snow removal equipment down here as we did in Buffalo. They're using bobcats, dozers and backhoes in most spots, and a majority of the side roads haven't been touched. I miss having snowtires & a snowblower.
  8. LMAO!!! You got good points!! That's reason I suggested Schobel & Evans be traded, IMO it was a big mistake to give both of those guys their big contracts. Schobel should have gotten what Kelsay did and Kelsay is another overpaid, underperforming DE.
  9. First Choice: Troy Smith (from Baltimore) Second Choice: Donovan McNabb
  10. TO had 55 rec, 829 yds, 5 rec TDs and 1 rush TD, plus he had at least 20 drops or more. I think Marshall would have had at least 1000 yards with us considering the circumstances. Besides last year, what else has been the reasons for Evans? Face it, he's an undersized #1 WR, he can't consistently shake the double teams and his stats prove that. One week, Evans will put up great numbers, then will have 2, 3 or 4 more weeks of putting up numbers of 40, 50 yards a game. People always point the finger to the QB, well it works both ways, you need a WR that can consistently catch and consistently get open.
  11. I forgot the Bills of the early 90's were model citizen's as well (sarcasm). That's as far as I got through your childish post.
  12. I'd rather have a guy, who for the past 3 years has had over 100 receptions and over 1000 yards receiving. I like Lee Evans, he makes some really awesome plays, but they're too few and far between. Yes, everyone can point the finger at the QB situation and the O-line, but great receivers can get the job done regardless and Marshall has shown that this past year with Orton. IMO, Evans is a #2 receiver.
  13. I guess Bledsoe wasn't a good QB?! In winter games like that, is the reason why you need big physical linemen, running backs and wide receivers to overpower the defense, which was my whole point to referencing the Cleveland game.
  14. Someone else that gets it too. It seems like everyone is in love with Evans and will use every excuse in the book to state why he hasn't had the success that other top WR's in the league have had.
  15. It's okay!! You're right, the QB & OT positions need to be addressed.
  16. Thank you!!!!! Evans would be a great #2 receiver to a bigger, more physical WR, like how Price was to Moulds, but some people are so blind to see that. Once receivers like Evans and Price lose their speed, they're done.
  17. Up until Trent got creamed against Adrian Wilson, Trent was hitting Evans with passes of 40+ yards or more. Even with JP, Evans was not getting consistent numbers every week. As far as snow goes, I guess you forgot about the Blizzard game in Cleveland where we lost 8-0 and we still had a chance to make the playoffs going into that game. What's your comeback gonna be on that one, "It wasn't played in Buffalo!?" Marshall has had 3 seasons in a row where he had 100 receptions or more, we need a guy like that can consistently make the catches and get first downs.
  18. Yes, Evans has not had a QB since Bledsoe, but Orton is not a good QB and Marshall had 100+ receptions. You can't throw the ball deep everytime you go for a pass, especially in the weather Buffalo gets, so Marshall would be better suited for the Buffalo winter weather due to his size. The snow takes away the speed factor from guys like Evans & Parrish. I think Evans would do much better for a team that plays in a dome or in warm weather climates than he does in the winter elements in Buffalo. I'm not knocking Evans, he's a class act and a good WR, but I just don't think he's the right guy for us.
  19. Hey Sherlock, that's the purpose of a chat room, so people can discuss ideas. I read the trade for Vick discussions and I don't agree with them, but it's interesting to hear someone's point of view. If you don't like people's ideas for trades, then don't read them.
  20. I just hope that we get another home playoff game soon. I will definitely buy tickets and travel up from VA to go to the game. I really miss the home playoff games.
  21. We all know that "The Dick" screwed things up this past offseason. They should have kept Walker at RT and drafted Oher to man the LT position. Instead, we draft a one year college wonder in Aaron Maybin. I like the picks for Wood & Levitre (hope Wood recovers), plus I like the Incognito signing (hope he gets resigned). It doesn't matter who our QB is if he doesn't have the line in front of him. So I hope Nix & company make a priority to fill the holes on the O-line.
  22. Exactly, McDaniels should have been fired after he screwed things up with Cutler. How do you bench your top WR & TE, while battling for the final wild card spot?!
