  1. Guess everyone is in an uproar over the Kelsay extension.
  2. I hope Carrington gets his chance to play. With McCargo, he looked good in preseason, plus he's a former #1 pick, with that much investment, the team should see if he can play at DE, if not, then it was a big waste to keep him on the roster in the first place. With Kelsay...absolutely disgusting!! How the f@ck does this organization constantly reward a sub-par player? Kelsay is a backup at best and he's getting $6 mil a year? WTF!!!
  3. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/9/29/1719950/bills-vs-jets-bills-may-be-without-dt-stroud I wonder if this is a legitimate injury or if the coaches are coming up with a phantom injury to get Stroud out of the starting lineup (considering how bad he's looked so far this year) to give Carrington/Johnson/McCargo a shot?
  4. PS: S-U-C-K SUCK SUCK SUCK!!!
  5. Just like many Bills fans wanted Jason Campbell. I've seen enough Redskins games to know he was Trent pt. 2 and was glad the Bills did not pick him up. Both Campbell & Edwards lasted the same amount of time as starters this year.
  6. Schobel wants the $8+ million a year, without having to show up for OTA's, training camps & preseason...sorry Aaron, that's not going to happen!
  7. Love to see Trent play against us in a couple of weeks. Maybe, Maybin will get his first regular season sack.
  8. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/9/28/1716967/report-bills-now-listening-to-trade-offers-for-rb-lynch We've all been through this before. We've heard the rumors before the season, during training camp and before the Packers game. So, are the Bills really shopping Lynch now? If so, then they have done a smart job of giving Lynch the bulk of the carries the last 2 weeks to show that Lynch is still a productive RB. Maybe by doing that, this will increase Lynch's trade value? If not, then enough of the trade rumors already.
  9. RJ was good at coming off the bench and playing great for one game. RJ could never play good for two games in a row. Being a franchise QB, you have to be a leader and show some fire, RJ showed neither. Losman was thrown in way too quickly in 2005, then flip-flopped with Holcomb. Losman was horribly mismanaged to begin with. While he was great at the deep ball, his short to intermediate game was terrible. While Edwards short to intermediate game was good, he seemed to be gun shy and skittish after the Adrian Wilson hit. If the Bills do draft a QB in the first round this year, they need to make sure it's not a Leaf, Russell, Carrington or Carr type QB (along with a Losman, Johnson or Edwards). They have to get it right this time.
  10. The Bills have only drafted 2 starting QB's that have led the Bills to the playoffs (Ferguson & Kelly). How many QB's have the Lions went through? Also, how many did the Bengals go through before they drafted Palmer?
  11. There are a lot of players that look great in OTA's, training camps and even preseason, but when it comes to the regular season, they can't get the job done. Trent Edwards and Chad Jackson are just 2 examples of that.
  12. I don't know if it was the Adrian Wilson hit that derailed his career, but he wasn't the same afterwards. I was hoping he'd finally turn it around this year, but he shot himself in the foot in the first 2 games. Maybe Trent can win an UFL Championship like Losman did? Can we go out and get a pass-rusher now?
  13. I agree. Fitz is going to have an INT for every TD he throws.
  14. Good question. You're right, Stroud has looked awful so far. Time to give the rookie a shot.
  15. There have been reports from fans that have went to the games, TV & radio announcers, that the Bills WR's are not getting open. There also have been reports that the Bills WR's have been getting open, but have not been thrown to. From what you've actually seen (not opinion, but what you've visually seen over the past 2 games) are the Bills WR's getting open or not?
  16. Chan also said it's not all Trent's fault either. So take Chan's word for it.
  17. If that means drafting a real franchise QB with a Top 10 selection in the draft, then I'm all for it now. Let's just hope they can get a real #1 WR to go along with the Franchise QB.
  18. Fitz is coming in, so let's revisit this a week from now.
  19. I wasn't talking about the waterboy on the sidelines
  20. Then why did Randy Cross call out Lee Evans & the Bills WR's yesterday? Gee, let me think? I know...it's because they weren't getting open, that's why!!!
  21. Went to the opener, they weren't open.
  22. Even before the start of the season last year, most could tall it wasn't going to be good with the terrible preseason performance, plus the firings of Walker & Schonert 10 days before the start of the season. Is this a sense in the same direction? While I give credit to Cooter (Gailey) for pulling the plug on Edwards quickly, but did failing to address the QB situation this year really come back to bite the Bills in the butt this year. Granted, none of the free agent QB's looked good, but the Bills could have made a move for Mike Vick. While a lot of people are still disgusted with Vick's personal off-field actions, his play on the field so far this year has been very good. With Edwards, it's obvious that his teammates did not rally around him. Edwards barely showed emotion and always sounded defeated. After getting blasted by defenders left & right, Edwards should have been chewing out his O-linemen and demanding that they get their heads out of their azzes and do their jobs. Edwards is a by-product of Jauron, both did not have that winning attitude. Both had the "It's hard to win in the NFL" type attitude. With Fitz, we know he's better than Edwards, but we also know he's inconsistent and he's not a franchise QB either. Can the offense rally around Fitz and put together a decent season the rest of the way?
