  1. Like I said, the offense was lousy and they should have done more in the game. But, the refs blew an obvious call that could have made a huge impact in the game. If the PF call was made, the Bills would have had the ball within the Miami 20 yard line. 3 more points would have made all the difference at that point. It's not an excuse for the Bills, just a fact, the refs f@cked up and it cost the Bills.
  2. It was painfully obvious that the refs were heavily favoring the Fins today. The Miami defender had an arm bar locked on Evans, but there was no pass interference called? That would have put the Bills deep into Miami territory, where the Bills could have attempted a FG and possibly had a tie game after the Parrish TD. Another example of bad referring (which was a couple of plays later) Edwards gets blasted by 2 defenders well after the ball was thrown, but there was no personal fowl penalty? Granted, the Bills offense played lousy today (except for 1 drive), but the Bills shouldn't of had to battle the refs, along with the Dolphins. Screwed Again!!
  3. Whoops!! Meant COY (Coach of the year)
  4. LSD?! I bet you said the same thing when the Phins went from 1-15 to 11-5. The Bills had a completely inept coaching staff in here over the last 4 years and their record was 7-9 (3x) and 6-10. With a better coaching staff and this team better prepared, 10 wins is possible. I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but it's a possibility.
  5. Yes, I know it's been discussed already, but with all the "1-15" "2-14" talk going on, I figured I'd bring up again.
  6. The year before Gailey arrived in Dallas, the Cowboys were 6-10. In Gailey's first year in Dallas, the Cowboys went 10-6 and had a wild card berth. If Gailey can do the same here in Buffalo, does he he serious consideration for Coach Of the Year?
  7. I'd love to see Trent's first 300 yard passing game.
  8. It sucks that we currently have a 13 game losing streak to the Pats. It shouldn't be that long, thanks to boneheaded decisions either by the coaches or players. I think it was the season opener in 06', instead of kicking a FG, Jauron decides to go for it on a long-drawn out run play to McGahee which is stopped. Plus, Losman's safety didn't help either. Last year in the home opener, with an 11 point lead, Fewell goes into a shell and plays the prevent defense and lets the Pats get back in the game. Then, everyone knows McKelvin's deal... IMO, this year, we finally get a win over the Pats and we will go at least 3-3 in the division. We beat the Phins 31-14, we beat the Jets and lost to them by 6 points in the other game, so the teams in the division are beatable this year.
  9. http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/nfl/news/story?id=5540944 "I am a little older and understand the nature of the business -- the older you get the more your skills supposedly diminish, but I think I am getting wiser in how to use my physical skills. That's the frustrating part when you put so much heart and desire into things and feel like you are not wanted." I know Brady is not going to give the Pats a "hometown" discount this time around, so with Brady most likely getting a bigger salary, this looks like it could be Moss' last year in NE.
  10. I know we still have a week to go, but I can't help but get excited for the start of the regular season. My prediction for next weeks game versus the fish: Bills 34, Dolphins 24 IMO, the Bills offense will be able to put points on the board, followed by the defense getting an INT or two on Henne. Dolphins will mainly score by their run game. I expect our Run "D" to be better than last year, but not quite near as good as what it should be (just yet). Your thoughts, predictions...
  11. Even Schonert said while exiting Buffalo that Jauron wanted a more dulled down, pop-warner type offense. Jauron felt there were too many formations and made Schonert strip down the playbook and the offense looked awful. Granted, once Jauron left, AVP had more freedom to be creative, but he wasn't ready to be a full-time offensive coordinator. I'm not too worried about the defense yet. So far, when all the starters left the field, the Bills were winning. Plus, the Bills played the defending AFC Champs & the Bengals, 2 playoff teams from a year ago, so you should expect some points scored against our defense from Manning & Palmer.
  12. Great points. Jauron had no clue how to make adjustments. The offense has been scoring on long drives and looks good in the red zone, compared to being one of the worst teams in the red zone in years past.
  13. http://www.realfootball365.com/articles/bills/14939 8th ranked offense, 5th in rushing. In know it's preseason, but it's nice seeing those numbers compared to the disaster of last years preseason.
  14. I'm very sorry to hear that you're leaving. I've always enjoyed your posts. Thanks for your years of playing with the Bills. If you decide that this is really it for you, good luck, take care & GO BILLS!
  15. IMO, the toughest games this year will be against the Packers and Ravens.
  16. "I think I watched 30 seconds of their draft coverage and switched it right back to the NFL network, it looked like a male version of "The View" instead of actual draft coverage" OMG, I forgot how annoying Steve Young was. That's a perfect description of ESPN's draft coverage. You're right, Berman is still the only one worth watch on ESPN. I'd love to see a full-body shot on Suzy Kolber though.
  17. LMAO at "The Whaambulance". Good points about the local media. The Bills looked good in the last 2 preseason games and these guys are still bashing the team.
  18. But wait, he was our probowl Left tackle. The great Jason Peters?! We should have just paid him, right? He wanted to be the highest paid LT in the league, so the Bills should have made him one. Where are all the Peters lovers now? Thanks Philly for Eric Wood!
  19. I can see Calloway & Harvey being picked up on the practice squad.
  20. Good game by the Bills. The starting offense looks better than the starting defense. I can't wait for the season opener.
  21. Nope. The Packers were a very good team in the NFC last year and will be one of the top teams in the NFL this year. A lot of people are saying that Aaron Rodgers is one of the best QB's in the league (and for years to come). Plus, the Colts were the AFC Champions last year.
  22. Working on a computer. I need to call her when I have computer issues.
  23. So Cal Val, she's a valet for TNA wrestling. I met her once, she's really nice (and really hot!)
