I think the only things I can give Marrone credit for during his tenure as HC of the Bills is hiring two good DC's: Pettine and Schwartz. Other than that, I think he was a terrible coach and I'm glad he's gone.

Understand. I didn't agree with the judge's explanation stating the NFL should have warned the Patriots and Tom Brady first before punishing them. IMO, that sets a bad precedent as it shows you can knowingly break/violate a rule first and expect to get away with it and just get a warning. So if that's the case, what's to stop the Patriots or any other team from coming up with other ways to cheat as players/teams can get away with it and the NFL has to give the said player/team a verbal/written warning to stop doing it first?

I'm not going to get my hopes up until a decision is final. IMO, an employer has the right to discipline his/her employees for breaking the rules set forth by the company.

Like your way of thinking. The Bills have been missing a big physical type WR since Eric Moulds. They need someone who can outmuscle DB's, high point the ball, out leap the DB's. It's been lacking in the Bills passing game for a long time now.

The guy had five tackles and a sack after the bye week...that's pathetic!! Especially for his size, strength, speed, agility and that big contract he is getting. It was painfully obvious Mariocre quit playing as he would take two steps, then stop. Bruce Smith never pulled that crap. IMO, Mariocre is a lazy player and only plays hard when he feels like it. The guy is a freak of nature in his build and if he gave 100% on every snap, there's no doubt he would be in Top 3 in sacks every single year.

I stated before how people were "jumping the gun" bashing McCoy before knowing all the facts. Now they're looking very foolish.

As long as Laurinaitis is able to bring his dad along and reform the Legion of Doom then I'm fine with it.

I think it took up until week 17 for Greg Roman to line up Watkins all over the field. How many times did we see Watkins have big numbers in the first half or only get a few targets in a game this year, then get shut down in the second half of the game because Roman did not know how to effectively use his best WR until very late in the season? Once Roman had Watkins lined up all over the field, he torched Revis, who is considered one of the best CB's in the game for 11 catches for 136 yards.

Besides Sammy Watkins, who else did Taylor have to throw to that was effective? Woods had a severe groin injury that hampered his game; Hogan had a bad wrist injury that seriously impacted his game; Goodwin got hurt (again); Harvin got hurt early and Greg Roman didn't start effectively use Watkins until late in the season by having Watkins line up all over the field instead of just the go-route. Give Taylor a legit #2 WR to compliment Watkins, a full offseason of reps as the starting QB instead of a three-way split and let's see how he does next season.

It's hard to argue that fact, but the person making in charge of making those "dumb decisions" no longer owns the team, so you can no longer lay all the blame on the Pegula's, Whaley and the new coaching staff.

Alphadawg, I couldn't have said it any better! I agree 100% with everything you said. It seems posters on here want coaches fired after one season, players cut after one season, etc... if they didn't live up to their own expectations of said coaches/players. Great points about TT, especially when you factor in all the injuries to the WR position this year as it seemed like the only WR that survived the season was Watkins.

Disagree. It didn't matter the Bills player, as soon as a Bills player got in trouble in the past, there were a lot of posters on here that were already crucifying that player and trying to run that player out of town. It's just like the two terrible sports writers for the Buffalo Snooze (Gleason and Sullivan) as they both have written articles about getting rid of Dareus and now McCoy because of their brushes with the law.

Or Marshawn Lynch... or Donte Whitner either
