  1. I see some fans are still upset that the Bills let go of "Alligator Arm" Chris "Can't slant for a first down" Hogan. Somehow, Hogan is going to morph into this magical WR that we've been waiting to see since training camp 2014, just because he's going to New England
  2. IMO, outside of Lawson, I feel our LB's can be upgraded as they were not great or game changing.
  3. It was reported during the season that there were a few players on defense that were purposely playing like garbage in hopes to have Rex fired and have Jim Schwartz brought back as the HC. If you didn't read the articles or didn't pay attention during that time...what can I tell ya? It takes time for players to learn any system, some longer than others. I liked Jim Schwartz and wanted the Pegula's to keep him, but didn't happen, so why rehash the past. Also, look at how long it took Greg Roman to figure out how to use Sammy Watkins? Does that mean Roman is a bad OC?
  4. So you bash my ideas, come up with one line replies, and then can't counter back. Thanks for playing!
  5. Hahahaha... OMG!!! This is too funny!! Blaming the owners for deconstructioning a terribly built team that was going nowhere?! The 2010-11 Sabres had an above average goalie, a bunch of 2nd-3rd line wingers and no good centers. The only thing I blame the Pegula's on was not firing Darcy Regier when they bought the team. Thanks, and I agree, we saw a big improvement on both sides of the ball, especially on defense against the Patriots in the second matchup. I do hope the trend continues upwards as well. I'm tired of every 2-4 years of going through another coaching search, so the way I look at it, give Rex all the tools he needs to be successful and see if he can get the job done here in Buffalo. We've seen what his defenses can do in Baltimore and in NY, now it's time to deliver here in WNY.
  6. All this debate about Jim Schwartz, Mike Pettine, Rex Ryan and now former players bashing Rex on the way out the door is just ridiculous. If you really want a true measuring stick of progress, look at how the Bills D did against the mighty Patriots in their second matchup of the season last year. Brady was getting hammered all game long, the secondary had blanket coverage on their receivers and Brady had to throw the ball away a lot in that game. IMO, that's the best I've seen the Bills D play against the Patriots in many years. The way I look at it, give Rex all the tools he needs to be successful and let's see what he can do because so far when it came up against the ultimate measuring stick in the division, he's performed better than Pettine and Schwartz.
  7. This is not earth shattering, new news or even a good read. It's been common knowledge for anyone that's been following the team. I wish Bradham the best of the luck in Philly.
  8. Agree 100% Hogan is a training camp monster and gets overrated by a lot of Bills fans because of what he does in training camp.
  9. I know, it's all good. I know Hogan struggled catching the ball because of his wrist injury, so that is understandable. But, he has a tendency to alligator-arm passes, plus when he tries and fights for the yards needed for the first down (on third down) by slanting, he usually ends up short, compared to if he just would have kept going straight, he would have picked up the first down. IMO, he's a great ST player, but he's a #4/5 type WR. I wish him luck in NE.
  10. Lol!! Nope. I'm not mad at anyone. I just think Hogan is overrated because of what he does in training camp.
  11. The training camp monster will be gone.
  12. That's the thing about Hogan, he looks great in training camp, but hasn't had that same production in the regular season. Some players are just "training camp monsters" and I hate to say it, but I feel Hogan falls under that category.
  13. Could Tyrod have been better this past year...absolutely. But, from what I've seen from Hogan, he's too inconsistent. I hope this move forces the front office to upgrade the WR position.
  14. I agree. Hogan is a good special teams player and a good #4-5 WR on a team, but no higher than that.
  15. +1 I can't believe people are actually comparing Hogan to Amendola? I'm sorry, but that is a very poor comparison.
  16. Yeah, and we saw how well his slants on third down were... Short of the first down marker.
  17. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14887411/new-england-patriots-release-brandon-lafell-scott-chandler Bye, bye Scott...
  18. Just like he turned Chandler into the next Gronkowski?
  19. Drops balls, fails to pick up first downs, alligator arm passes... IMO, he's overrated by Bills fans.
  20. If he would've kept going straight instead of slanting, he would've picked up the first down. Classic Chris Hogan. With losing Harvin, Goodwin always being injured and Hogan most likely gone, that would make a lot of sense.
  21. I'll miss Hogan trying to Alligator arm a pass and especially his famous slants which come up short of the first down marker on third down.
