http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/nfl/news/story?id=4999283 Thought this was worth posting. Good for him getting his degree and having the foresight to know there's life after football. Most of these guys make tons of money but don't know how to handle it, spend it all during their career and wind up broke shortly after they retire. He's doing it for himself and for his kids. I respect that a lot.

Latest ProFootballWeekly.com Mock Draft
lets_go_bills replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only way you can justify Spiller at pick nine is if you truly believe he is a Chris Johnson clone. -
Personally, this is my favourite mock site. http://www.draftcountdown.com/sub/Mock-Draft-A.php Round 1, Pick 9: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers. Round 2, Pick 41: Tim Tebow, QB, Florida. Intersting picks. At least it covers our top two needs.

'Bama LB McLain could be the Bills pick
lets_go_bills replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for posting that. Interesting read. I suppose McClain could be the pick. I wouldn't hate it, but it's just that LB isn't a priority like QB and LT are. We have so many needs, it is truly maddening. McClain represents one of the best LB prospects in recent years and he definately appears to be the total package. So it would be hard to be mad if we walked away from the draft with the best LB in the draft. That said, it would be easy to be mad if we don't walk away from the draft with a QB and LT drafted in the higher rounds. So while our defense could become fun to watch, the offense would continue to be painfully pathetic. No matter who's under center come September 2010, it won't matter if there isn't a LT keeping pass rushers at bay. Regardless, come April the Bills will find themselves in position to come away from this draft with a good prospect at a position of need. Fortunately this is one of the deeper and more talent-filled drafts we've seen in a few years. -
Grady Jackson released by Lions
lets_go_bills replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand the Lions are likely to draft one of the two DTs. Despite that, if someone is cut by the Lions, you don't want him on your team. -
I don't know how much he has left but he was dominant at the most important position in a 3-4 D as recently as two years ago. NT is a huge position of need for us and it would save having to burn an early pick on one. We have so many needs and it's a weak FA class. Jamal Williams ought to be on a plane to Buffalo right now. And not allowed to leave town without signing a contract.

Big money. I think he'll be good but not great.

No.

Good pick up for the Ravens and the price was right.

3-13 or 2-12 if we do nothing

Thank you chuckknox! Thank you for constantly posting new retarded threads. The guy never posts replies, just starts stupid threads. Very annoying. -
Bills will seriously suck in 2010!!

Did anybody expect us to be good in 2010? -
Jim Schwartz and the Lions are dominating Free Agency
lets_go_bills replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The title of your thread said dominating. I'm not being cynical or critical. But I do think the Lions are grabbing a straws here. Kudos for effort though. Lol. -
http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/...abb?eref=fromSI "Will he stay or will he be sent away? The Philadelphia Eagles are divided on a Donovan McNabb trade, with one very powerful Eagle blocking a potential deal. The NFL free agency period has officially begun and, as teams make offers and deals, reports say Donovan McNabb could be traded soon. There are many interested teams out there, but right now the Eagles are not accepting any offers yet. Sources tell Fox 29's sports department that the St. Louis Rams are not one of those teams, contrary to some reports. But we're also being told that trading McNabb is not going to be easy because internally the Eagles' brass wants to move him but Andy Reid does not." For those hoping for McNabb. Looks like Andy Reid is using every bit of juice he has to keep McNabb but everyone else wants him traded. Time will tell. Thought it was interesting the of the "many interested teams" St. Louis isn't one of them. I expect the Bills will at least be making an offer, if they haven't already.

Buffalo Interested in WR Kelley Washington
lets_go_bills replied to BillsNYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Worst part is, he may wind up being our "top" signing. -
Jim Schwartz and the Lions are dominating Free Agency
lets_go_bills replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They signed a chronically overpaid, average and oft-injured WR and a 31 year old DE coming off a 6-sack season. Dominanting? I'd have to disagree. $51 million poorly spent? I'd have to agree. -
Too old now. A fiery vet and a strong leader but he's just too old now. I don't think he'd be an upgrade over Hangartner.

Jamal Williams Soon To Be Free Agent!
lets_go_bills replied to AllDayADay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He'd be a great sign. The Nix connection is there and Williams would be a great NT for two years or so until we can find a young one to tak eover. -
I just can't see the Bills sending all the picks it would take to move up. Unless they're 100% confident Bradford is the next great QB and that he won't get past the Skins or Hawks. We have so many needs including LT and the entire defensive front-7. It's hard to imagine Buffalo giving up picks to move up to number two and spend all that money too.

Bad news for those wanting a LT at #9
lets_go_bills replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see a run on LTs happening like that. And no way Berry falls out of the top-10. If Clausen is there at 9, I can't see the Bills passing on him. -
Thomas Jones to be released by NYJ
lets_go_bills replied to BillsZubaz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we opt to trade Lynch then Jones would be a good replacement. -
Bills interview McCoy, Gerald
lets_go_bills replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
23 reps is quite poor for an athlete of that size. Upper body strength is quite important for a DT. His lack of time in the weight room is a red flag. It says McCoy may be one of those guys that get by on talent alone. Work ethic is important, especially if you're spending top-3 money on him. You want a guy who'll work hard, not a guy you'll have to harass to get in the weight room. -
Per PFT, 'Skins going after Peppers and Sproles
lets_go_bills replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Washington has splurged on FAs before and it always blows up in their faces. It's comical. Snyder is way too involved and runs personnel like an idiot. Fans hate him because he's a goof who won't let someone run personnel. -
Wonderful Mock Draft for Bills
lets_go_bills replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sweet mock! That'd be a dream come true. As for the need at WR, I'd like the Bills to give Hardy and Johnson a chance to play. Let's see what we have in these guys. We have too many other more pressing needs at positions of greater importance anyway. -
Denney, Reed, Owens are done in Buffalo

Fan-favourite who sold a lot of jerseys. Season ticket holder here and when he made a play, the Ralph went nuts. It was loud. He brought excitement.
