Wikipedia can be a great reliable source as long as the text is sourced and factual, which with regards to this article seems to be (it contains both evidence for and against Davis), sure it will always have some sort of bias as all encylopia do have. Exactly why I included it, did it contain gunpowder traces? Or bloodspatter? Or nothing direct at all. Does it support the prosecutors case at all? I dont care about it being obtained legal or not, I do care about what it would/could have implicated. As I see it this could have gone either way, death sentence should be reserved to cases which are 100% clear and this one certainly isnt, it most certainly requires more investigation, bottomline is I'm not so sure the truth is uncovered. Then again the killer shot the guard then walked over to him, bent over him and shot him through the head while smiling. Then again such information would come from eyewitnesses and that's exactly where the issue lays in this case with regards to reliability as most have stated they were pressured by the police.

Attrition, 2 games played; 4 men down
bladiebla replied to bladiebla's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Waived/injured means you get waived and get to go through normal waiver process, once you clear waivers you get to go on IR where all rights to you are retained by your team (what it exactly means per contractual terms is something I don't know). Read before responding next time ok, please. Agreed, on the insignifigance of them with relation to overall impact. Merriman is not listed as having any injury. -

Attrition, 2 games played; 4 men down

Aha, my bad, I missed that/figured 6-8 weeks -> IR. So we're down 3 guys to IR for an average of 24, let's take Easley off as well so that would come down to 1 per week or 16 for the season. Better, still bad lol. -

As of today Pats*: Josh Barrett S Thumb Full Participation in Practice -- Leigh Bodden CB Hand Full Participation in Practice -- Dane Fletcher LB Thumb Full Participation in Practice -- Kyle Arrington CB Concussion Limited Participation in Practice -- Ras-I Dowling CB Hip Limited Participation in Practice -- Gary Guyton LB Hamstring Limited Participation in Practice -- Jerod Mayo LB Thigh Limited Participation in Practice -- Zoltan Mesko P Knee Limited Participation in Practice -- Taylor Price WR Hamstring Limited Participation in Practice -- Ryan Wendell C Calf Limited Participation in Practice -- Patrick Chung S Hand Did Not Participate In Practice -- Dan Gronkowski TE Hamstring Did Not Participate In Practice -- Albert Haynesworth DT Back Did Not Participate In Practice -- Aaron Hernandez TE Knee Did Not Participate In Practice -- Sebastian Vollmer T Back Did Not Participate In Practice -- Mike Wright DE Concussion Did Not Participate In Practice -- Dan Koppen C PLACED ON INJURED RESERVE Out (Definitely Will Not Play) -- Myron Pryor DT PLACED ON INJURED RESERVE Out (Definitely Will Not Play) -- Bills: Steve Johnson WR Groin Full Participation in Practice -- Spencer Johnson DE Hip Full Participation in Practice -- Torell Troup DT Back Full Participation in Practice -- Terrence McGee CB Hamstring Did Not Participate In Practice -- Kirk Morrison LB Hamstring Did Not Participate In Practice -- Roscoe Parrish WR Ankle Did Not Participate In Practice -- Kraig Urbik G Knee Did Not Participate In Practice -- Not sure what to make of it, other then the DNPs, maybe NE* reports more extensively then the Bills do or maybe it is Bellicheat* abusing the injury report system as a tactic. Hard to prepare against this report, they would be down to 1 TE, so 3 receiver sets it is and defensively our offense has no clue whom the'll be playing against with this report. -

Attrition, 2 games played; 4 men down
bladiebla replied to bladiebla's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In that sense McGee wouldnt count either as he's only played one full season without missing a game or more. -
Yes, we're doing great, however with 2 games played we have allready lost 4 players to IR (McGee, Parrish, Eddins and Easley), by this rate we'll end up with 32 players on IR at the end of the season. I cant remember it ever being this bad (number wise). With the 5 guys allready on there (Wang, Huggins, Corto, Torbor, Hall), that makes a grand total of 9 allready. Is it me or is this an awfull lot for two games into the season (wasnt 18 guys on IR at the end of season the record couple of years back). Edit: Other then McGee and to some extend Parrish we're lucky I guess...

Hmmm isnt there a disability parkinglot? Another idea might be to drop him off as near to the entrance as you can and then park and come back for him.

bladiebla replied to Momma Pecoraro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Morrison has a lingering hamstring, didnt practise. -
I'd like to see make three passes in the game, enough to setup a run to the house.

Well Ann Coulter is not adding any fact either... From wiki (with sources) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troy_Davis_case: "As he left with his friend Darrell Collins, the occupants of a passing car yelled obscenities at them. A bullet was fired into the car and [13] Michael Cooper, a passenger in the other car, was shot in the face, allegedly by Davis.[14] Davis and Collins continued on, and later met Sylvester "Redd" Coles, who was arguing with a homeless man, Larry Young, over a beer near a Burger King restaurant in the nearby Yamacraw neighborhood.[13][15]. Off-duty policeman Mark MacPhail was working as a security guard there and was shot when he attempted to intervene in the pistol whipping of Mr. Young.[16]" "Davis and Collins continued on, and later met Sylvester "Redd" Coles, who was arguing with a homeless man, Larry Young, over a beer near a Burger King restaurant in the nearby Yamacraw neighborhood" "In a hearing in November 1990, the judge barred forensic evidence from the shorts that had been retrieved during the police search of the Davis home." "On cross-examination, Coles admitted that he also had a .38 pistol, but stated that he had given it to another man earlier that night." "There were numerous witnesses that we knew should have been interviewed, but lacked the resources to do so" ". In a final address to the jury, Davis pleaded, "Spare my life. Just give me a second chance. That's all I ask." He told jurors he was convicted for "offenses I didn't commit." " "In December 2001, Davis filed a habeas corpus petition in the United States District Court.[50] From 1996 onwards, seven of the nine prosecution witnesses changed all or part of their trial testimony.[52][53] Dorothy Ferrell, for example, stated in a 2000 affidavit that she felt under pressure from police to identify Davis as the shooter because she was on parole for a shoplifting conviction.[53] In a 2002 affidavit, Darrell Collins wrote that the police had scared him into falsely testifying by threatening to charge him as an accessory to the crime, and alleged that he had not seen Davis do anything to Young.[54] Antoine Williams, Larry Young and Monty Holmes also stated in affidavits that their earlier testimony implicating Davis had been coerced by strong-arm police tactics.[32] In addition, three witnesses signed affidavits stating that Redd Coles had confessed to the murder to them" "On September 26, 2006, the court affirmed the denial of federal habeas corpus relief, and determined that Davis had not made "a substantive claim of actual innocence"[50] or shown that his trial was constitutionally unfair; the circuit court found that neither prosecutors nor defense counsel had acted improperly or incompetently at trial." "Members of the legal community have criticized the restricting effect of the 1996 Act on the ability of wrongfully convicted persons to prove their innocence" "In his final words, Davis maintained his innocence." From Amnesty International http://www.amnestyusa.org/our-work/cases/usa-troy-davis: "The case against him consisted entirely of witness testimony which contained inconsistencies even at the time of the trial. Since then, all but two of the state's non-police witnesses from the trial have recanted or contradicted their testimony. Many of these witnesses have stated in sworn affidavits that they were pressured or coerced by police into testifying or signing statements against Troy Davis. One of the two witnesses who has not recanted his testimony is Sylvester "Red" Coles — the principle alternative suspect, according to the defense, against whom there is new evidence implicating him as the gunman. Nine individuals have signed affidavits implicating Sylvester Coles." All legal documents: http://www.troyanthonydavis.org/ My take: Davis wasnt your ideal son-in-law, he was involved with drugs dealing. Either Collins or Davis shot at Cooper after the party, covering this up is what got Davis killed. The only physical evidence that is available in this case are the shell casings; where the shells on the first crime scene were recovered a week after the shooting, after the police had allready processed the scene and recovered none. Sylvester Coles was the one who reported Davis to the police as being the shooter. Coles was found in possession of a .38 which wasnt processed. The shell at the first scene could have easily been planted by Coles after reporting Davis to the police. Seems far fetched maybe, but you have to remember that Coles actually was the one going to the police There is strong supporting evidence that Davis was indeed innoncent of murdering MacPhail and Coles being the real murderer. Solve the first shooting and the truth isnt far off, maybe Davis covered for Collins; shooting from a car would drop the shell inside the car with the two shootings being unrelated. Did Davis deserve to go to prison, sure did, did he commit the second shooting and consequent murder? I dont know, doesnt fit his profile that's for sure, but people do get astray. IMHO they should have granted an indefinite stay on the execution whilst they would have reinvestigated the first shooting and subsequent burgerking murder.

My Thoughts On How To Win This Game
bladiebla replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Pressure Brady. 2. Get at least 5 sacks. 3. Take out the TE's (do we really want to put LB's on them to cover them?). 4. Fitz has to secure the ball. 5. Feed Fred. 6. Crowd noise. 7. Have our corners actually defend the ball not just tackle. -
