Why would you even care about a rookie RB being "old"? Essentially we are getting his prime years on his first contract for next to nothing. If anything it's a benefit. No RB has seen a second contract since Beane has been here.

Probably still got caught but maybe closer to the goal line... Either way, the tradeoff with having the strength to break out of those kinda tackles to turn short passes into long gains can mean not having breakaway speed...

I don't think they are true...I think the Bills are used to being able to defend deep and still give up virtually nothing underneath either. They can't do that anymore...at least not yet until the younger players and new pieces on defense get a better handle on things. They are usually willing to give up some runs but typically can stop it well enough to force teams into third and long enough to be effective. So far they haven't been able to do that...but they have been very good when they start bringing extra pressure...which is probably what they should start doing more often.

He has been downright awful far too many times going back to last year and keeps being bailed out by his D.

He was considered to be a high floor player...might never be a star but one of those solid guys that carves out a 10 year career as a solid rotational player and possible starter at some point. I am developing a man crush on Ray Davis

Carter is starting to turn into a God damned beast out there... Where is the person that said he was a JAG? Dude was all over the place against the Texans in the 2nd half and then he had a repeat performance again today. I've seen a lot of JAG's and that's not what they look like.

Also allows all the other Bills receivers to get lesser defenders to work against than they would have gotten without him. Coleman gets CB2 now instead of CB1, etc...

I've seen it plenty of times this year...I mean Minnesota jumped out to a 28-0 lead over GB and held on to win 31-29. I'm guessing you aren't watching a lot of other football?

Inauspicious debut but it got better as the game went on... Feels good to have someone that can smoke man coverage off the line consistently again. Most importantly it reshuffles the other teams defensive assignments where he draws the top CB and the other Bills recievers benefit from that as well since they all have lesser players covering them than they would have without him.

Those teams are going to be in the 6-9 win bucket. They will be in the infamous "In The Hunt" graphic late in the year but won't really have a chance outside maybe one of them sneaking in. They have the ability to win some game but they also have the ability to lose to bad teams as well...

There are plenty of instances of this over the last few seasons with this team. They did this against Baltimore a few years ago being down 20-3 at the half and winning 23-20. Multiple other instances. In 2022 Bills used to jump out to big leads at the half and then hold on for dear life in the 2nd half. You are trying way too hard.

Coleman just put up almost the same number of yards as Franklin has all year, including his "great" 5 catch, 50 yard game this week, in today's game.
