At some point, your players need to make plays. You can blame coaching all you want but if we had a defensive player like the Chiefs have in Chris Jones that takes over a game in the playoffs coaching wouldn't matter much.

Thanks to the D and ST playing their F- game in the playoffs losses. Bills with Allen have been far more successful than the Lions were in Detroit with Sanders. They are the 2nd winningest team in all of pro sports over the last 5 years, trailing only the Chiefs. Also at no point in his career was Sanders the all-time leading TD per game player in the history of the NFL.

He played the last game of the year. Also Mahomes inherited a great team full of weapons, including 2 HOF players in Kelce and Hill, while Allen inherited a trash team with no weapons putting him at a major disadvantage starting out. He has erased that disadvantage.

This is absurd. He broke a record thru 8 seasons of the most prolific TD scorer of all time and he isn't even done with his 7th season. The NFL does not fully appreciate his greatness or the things he is doing that have never been done before on a seemingly weekly basis. This player should not exist. The NFL has never seen him before and might not see him again. Never take these days for granted. It will not be seen again in our lifetime.

But the problem is that it IS the rule in every game we have been eliminated in under McD in the playoffs save the Jacksonville game on his first playoff game but that was because they just weren't very good offensively.

If he doesn't win there is a systemic and collusionary effort on the part of the MVP voters to prevent him from getting it and they should be investigated for impropriety and vote selling like back in the days when popes used to be elected based on bribing Cardinals with money and promises of favors for votes.

Wow...Browns have not won in Pittsburgh now since 2003 in the regular season...that's 21 straight years after yesterday. Somehow they won a playoff game there tho... Carr is another fragile QB that always seems hurt.

Allen is leading the NFL in EPA/play at .332. His lead over Lamar Jackson at .275 in second place is bigger than the gap between Jackson and Jordan Love who is in 8th place at .228. That's absurd.

2nd straight one coming this week. Mahomes is not getting MVP. Allen is by far the favorite at -400 to -500 with Barkley a distant 2nd at +350 to +550. Goff and Jackson are 3rd at between +1000 and +1400.

Maybe they should have tried that today? Stafford apparently is the best QB in the NFL against zone coverage based on pregame previews. Not sure how the Bills wouldn't have known that and if they did why they insisted on playing zone so much especially when it wasn't working.

Allen now down to between -400 to -500 for MVP after today's performance. Well now he is on pace for 43 TDs after today's game, so could easily be his 5th straight 40+ TD season, extending his own record.

I would be very surprised if we don't see one of the best games of the year from this team next week based on how things usually go after these type of games.

That 4th down punt near midfield on 4th and 2 right before the half drive me nuts.

Pretty much that. Even if you put in the best case scenario with what could be expected in terms of them record wise playing these close games every game I doubt they have fewer than 3 losses in any simulation runs.

You see that not get called multiple times a game every game. What was the excuse on the play they picked up the flag on the deep pass to Cooper where he has his jersey pulled to a full stretch? That was far more egregious

Yep...and we have already had multiple false starts by Chiefs RT that haven't been called.
