  1. Think you forgot to look at YPC...Mixon averages 4.05 over that time, Cook averages 4.9(3rd in the NFL over his career in the last 3 years only to Devone Achane and Jahmyr Gibbs). Mixon gets a lot more carries to get less production. Also considering 2 year ago Cook was #6 in the NFL in scrimmage yards and averages 9.6 yards per reception which is 2nd in the NFL over that time for Running backs with at least 40 catches to Samaje Perine, a 3rd down receiving back, you made the mistake of looking at overall numbers without any context of how they achieved them. Cook's lack of touches played a part in his "pedestrian numbers" as you would put it. Essentially you are vastly underrating Cook. He is among the best in the NFL on a per touch basis.
  2. The first rule about the Salary Cap? There are no rules 😂
  3. probably signs with 49ers or Seahawks and they trade Metcalf.
  4. And they have 2 WR's that average a combined $57 million a year in AJ Brown and Devonta Smith to boot...they breaking all the rules.
  5. maybe we will start seeing more short movies...
  6. Think we are seeing that the league trends towards whatever teams think they can take advantage of offensively. With the advent of smaller, faster players and shell coverages, it has swung back heavily towards running the ball for good teams.
  7. That's destroying the RB market...Cook is likely as good as gone now since he can easily argue he is worth $15 mil if Barkley is worth $20+ mil
  8. Now he can focus on his suit and fragrance businesses at least.
  9. Think that shows just how much easier it is to play D when your D-Line is getting after the QBs.
  10. Bryce Paup and not close. He led the NFL in sacks, something even Bruce never did somehow, and won DPOY.
  11. Meh... Declining and often injured player...I am sure the 49ers are glad to have unloaded his contract.
  12. Bills need to figure out a way to get this guy...
  13. Maybe you shouldn't be paying a $15M QB $45M? That's probably his first error.
  14. I've watched Allen comeback time after time only for his defense to fail him in the end. Hard to not be clutch when you score twice in the last 2 minutes to take the lead in a game only to watch your defense mail it in both times. Same in the Hail Murray game and the NE game they lost 2 years ago. Allen has 21 game winning drives in his career, which ranks 11th among active QBs. However this list not surprisingly is dominated by QBs that are in their mid-late 30s and early 40s, such as Stafford, Carr, Rodgers, Wilson, Dalton, Cousins, Flacco and Tannehill. The only 2 QBs that are in the same age range as Allen for this are Mahomes and Prescott who both have 23, meaning Allen is 2 short of them. Considering Allen has far fewer opportunities than these other players because the Bills blowout teams so often, his percentage of game winning drives to opportunities has to be pretty damn high, maybe higher than anyone other than Mahomes. This refutes your notion of him not being clutch.
  15. Add in Tuck Rule for Brady. That's fine that you see it that way but you are simply wrong.
  16. Yes...because Chris Jones, our arch nemesis, shoved Dawkins directly into Allen's left shoulder causing his throwing motion to get truncated as he stepped to throw and forcing his arm down quicker that it normally would have. Half second and it's a wide open TD. Physics can be a b***h sometimes...
  17. So he is a half second from a TD to Shakir to take the lead when Dawkins gets shoved into his left shoulder and Bass misses a very makeable FG 2 years ago...and this year he still gave Kincaid a pretty decent chance to come down a ball on a play he had no business even getting off with the jailbreak that happened as the Bills blocked nobody on the play... I'm not saying everything is perfect, but even in these situations other players share quite a bit of the "blame" if we are doing that.
  18. You must have lost your mind...Allen has produced in the clutch far more than hasn't.
  19. Just because you are a great team doesn't guarantee you anything. Luck is a huge component that many people fail to realize plays a vital role in any championship run.
  20. Bryce Paup without question.
  21. In 2024 with Allen playing the Bills were one of the most efficient offenses in the history of the NFL and averaged 31.8 points per game. For all of Brees great completion percentage years, he basically only had 1 year that was like this one, in 2009 where they averaged 31.9 points per game. What I am saying is that points scored matters a lot more, Allen may get slightly higher but he throws the ball away quite a bit so that likely will limit how high he can go.
  22. Is that just last year?? I can't imagine it's an NFL all-time record, he is 23 years old. Edmunds would have likely had multiple seasons like that before that age.
  23. How is it exciting? It's success rate is like 5%, meaning you already know the outcome 95 times out of 100 which makes it one of the LEAST exciting plays in football. Would be like saying the old XP from the 2 yard line was "exciting" when they made 98% of the kicks.
