So you are saying if you were sitting at a bar and she came up and started hitting on you and then asked you to join her back in her room you'd say no? Not buying that one.
Heard he wanted $25 million and $17 guaranteed but when the team sat him down to talk with him, he just tucked his head in his arm and wouldn't look at them...too shy for his own good
No, they are what happens when you know you are leaving after having discussions with the Bills already that they are not signing him. Pretty much what we have already figured out, but this just confirms it.
They've been doing it for years with Shanahan, not just one season. It allows them to spend heavily on other areas and not pay the price other teams would. It's a massive advantage, not sure why more teams don't try to copy it.
They won't need to...49ers get more value out of the QB position than any team in the NFL. They can literally take a street FA and because of Shanahan's system make him a viable QB for them.
Because she is his wife and talking about the Bills and Buffalo in past tense obviously means they are not going to be back. Seems kinda common sense actually.
It might be "legal" to tamper but the actual tampering has been going on since the end of the season. How else do these players agree to contracts at like 12:01am on the start of free agency?? I am supposed to believe that they came up with the contract over the course of 2 days? Please.
Beane is a wizard in getting players to take pay cuts but then guaranteeing the lower contract. Win-win for both Bills and players. Just did the same thing with Tim Settle to save another 600K.
They just did Settle saving them $600K...seems it's similar to some others on the last year of their deals recently that were in danger of getting cut...lowered the dollar amount, but guaranteed the contract which meant they will not be cut either
You don't trade assets for an aging player at a position of low value and then have to pay him at a level that makes him highest player at his position.
How do people have so much trouble understanding this concept?
Tim Settle restructures to save the Bills 600K in cap space.
