  1. That wasn't really a drawn up play, that was simply Cook seeing Allen scrambling and turning it upfield.
  2. Sometimes they do, Allen just gets the ball out to someone else pretty quickly and they get 8-10 yards. When Diggs gets motioned it's very hard for him to truly get doubled or bumped at the line...it takes away a lot of the effectiveness of that due to him having a 2 way go on those plays.
  3. The Bills are the 6th best team of all time thru any season when comparing teams that have played 4 games(some of these are week 5 comparisons due to early byes those years in week 4). None of those 5 teams above them are from this year. Do the math 😂
  4. Perhaps it is because on balance Allen will win those matchups far more often than not?
  5. Even more impressive the Bills just wiped the floor with a team that was probably top 5 before last week. Scary thing is, I don't even think this is close to what our peak could be.
  6. Too bad he ran into a colonel instead.
  7. Did I? I'm playing chess not checkers! 😂
  8. Search is your friend, but here is something that should help: DVOA basic explanation or a More in depth DVOA explanation
  9. It's been discussed here enough regularly that you SHOULD know it by now. If you don't, use the search function, it's been explained many many times...at least 5 by myself in previous posts.
  10. And 6th best team all-time after 4 games according to DVOA...
  11. Heard today that some are pointing out Jones is causing many of his own problems because he doesn't know how to set protections properly or why to set protections based on what he is seeing. Taking a lot of sacks because he is not having his line properly block what the D is giving him.
  12. Jags SHOULD be playing a lot better than they are right now. Hopefully this isn't a game where they suddenly "figure it out". Could be a tough game due to travel and fatigue, Bills are the better team tho. Close game that could go either way or a Bills blowout, IMO.
  13. Daboll being familiar with the Bills schemes and players might be the only thing that saves them from a historic ass kicking in Buffalo. MIGHT save them.
  14. Ugh...WTF. PFR updated his stats before they updated these stats...will have to redo. PFR used to be almost instantaneous with their updates now they are taking a day or two.
  15. Where did Bradley Chubb end up on this play?? Dawkins taking him back to the tunnel
  16. I think Brady and Moss were better honestly. Montana and Rice can't be forgotten either. Different era, but today they would be ungodly numbers.
  17. I think it comes down to 3 things: 1) Elam was mostly a man corner and perhaps does not have a good enough grasp of how the Bills pass off defenders in some of their zone concepts...it can be a complicated dance they do where everyone has to be on the same page or else one wrong "pass off" can lead to a busted coverage and wide open player for 6. 2) This leads to the coaches not trusting Elam to be in the right position on the field or make the right decision. Perhaps he also doesn't know how to sit in his zone properly and is out of position to make plays. 3) Elam has a tendency to get called for holding, illegal contact and PI quite a bit seemingly...nothing worse than giving the offense a free 1st down on a 3rd and 15 because you are holding your guy on a 7 yard pass pattern that wouldn't have even been a first down anyway. I remember hearing several times in training camp about Diggs getting in his face due to excessive holding he was doing on a play.
