  1. don't forget the 2 comp picks.
  2. Amazing it was a "major upset" when Allen had legit stats to win MVP and was leading most of the year by a lot when they justified giving it to Lamar last year for the same reason Allen won this year, even tho he had some of the worst stats for an MVP ever(compared to others in the same year). And not only that, he got 49/50 votes! It's like they are constantly shifting goalposts to try and make a case for why Lamar should keep winning MVP and arguing against the same argument they used last year when this year's player had FAR better stats than the player who won by a landslide did last year. Comical.
  3. Allen hit quite the "quad-fecta" this year! Most Overrated Player Best Trash Talker Sportsman of the Year MVP Let me guess...
  4. Not a fan of either team but I'm still watching because I am a fan of football.
  5. About time Sterling Sharpe got in! He would be probably 2nd all-time in receiving yards if not for injury. The dude was unstoppable.
  6. Also, this essentially means Allen has punched his ticket to the HOF. Only good to middling QBs that either had 1 great season or were good but no playoff success have an MVP without being in the HOF. Ken Anderson likely is one that should be in, but isn't... None of them are even close to how great Alen is.
  7. That could be a great hire...and a lot of other teams wanted him and he chose to come here...
  8. You could still punish them and make it a grudge match 😂
  9. AP breakdown of how each person voted... https://apnews.com/sports/how-they-voted-josh-allen-wins-ap-nfl-mvp-award-00000194de7cdd80a79dde7c10b10000
  10. Hell f**k ya!!! Go Bills!
  11. interesting the odds have shifted in Allen's favor -230 to +185 for Lamar.
  12. I'd probably sign up for that.
  13. If he wants to take a discounted rate to stay then fine...I am not allocating major resources to a WR on the wrong side of 30. Just doesn't make good financial sense. None of that stuff matters. The chance he stays productive versus falling off a cliff is basically a coin flip. Also injuries become more and more of a concern every year over 30.
  14. If this happens against the Eagles dominating front, there is a serious issue. There is no way they can protect Mahomes all game long and not hold.
  15. Cooper is going to be 32 next year...as much as you'd like to think he will be the same player, he likely won't be...Father Time is undefeated. Don't pay premium prices for declining assets. Same reason people who buy brand new cars are fools.
  16. Don't want a declining, about to be 32 year old player coming off multiple serious injuries including ACL's and constant ankle injuries every year making $20 million. Maybe closer to $7 or 8 million and we could talk?
  17. really amazing a guy who every player on his team hated in his stints as OC and HC in the NFL got another chance and not only that, got paid at the highest rate of any OC in the NFL.
  18. Now TO is saying he thinks the NFL is rigged for the Chiefs and he never thought he would get there...
  19. It will be a given next year. Pats aren't competing until 2027. That roster is devoid of talent and it will take care more cap space than they have to bring in enough UFAs to shore them up. That's likely a 6-7 win team at best next year.
