  1. I didn't watch enough of the Bears, did he butcher it or did Cutler kill anything they had going?
  2. This is as ridiculous as can be. This past year he drafted 3 lineman and signed another in FA. He brought in a QB in FA and the hope was EJ would develop. Sure those haven't panned out but we aren't in the same position as last year.
  3. I missed the ones trashing him. Yes i gave a whoooo hoooo post but mine was more to the fact that it forces the Bills hands to address the position now. At this point I want the team to address the position and this forces their hand to do so (hopefully). I can totally get your point but I guess I'm an eternal optimist.
  4. That's based off the assumption that Orton communicated with them. If he never said a word, it's not at all on the coaching staff.
  5. Maybe I'm in the minority here but I wouldn't want him no matter what. There's a difference between being rough and nasty and then being dirty. He's proven over time he's a dirty player.
  6. This is good news. It forces the Bills to look at the QB situation realistically and not rely on a journeyman with no heart and no desire to play. To me this is the best news possible for the Bills to improve their future.
  7. So basically in your expert opinion, we shouldn't have a scouting department and it's a waste to pay them to do THEIR JOB? Whaley hasn't shown he can't be trusted on choosing/finding a QB. Plenty of well established GM's have swung and missed when it comes to finding a QB. Give me a break.
  8. I think that was the moment he showed it, but I wouldn't doubt he checked out way earlier than that.
  9. This one of the dumbest things I've ever read. He quit because he reads the paper and the message board? Wow.
  10. Why? Because this now forces our hand to really address our QB situation without having to pay a guy 5 mil who's heart wasn't into playing football and was a medicore QB at best? I'm happy about that and I don't think that shows anyone has no class.
  11. This announcement came too quick IMO. He knew he's been done. You don't make a knee jerk decision to a 5 million dollar option. This makes me wonder how much of his heart was into most of this season anyway.

  13. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  14. Your title is misleading. You should probably change that.
  15. I'm not ok with it and here's why. 1. Hackett has proven he thinks he's smarter than other OC's in the league by trying to buck the trend and beat a team in the opposite fashion (ie passing against Houston when they can't stop the run), and giving up on the run against Oakland (another bad run D team) 2. Hackett does not make adjustments in game. He either isn't smart enough to do it, doesn't prepare for teams shutting down parts of his offense or is just plain stubborn and won't give up. This isn't a good thing. 3. Hackett does not have a grasp on game control, and overall just seems to be lost when he's out there. He isn't NFL ready yet.
  16. I still don't get the love for these older coaches. Isn't the stat still the same that no head coach has won a SB with 2 different teams? Cowher hasn't coached in 8 years (last season was 2007). Do we really want a guy that has been out of the league for 8 years to take over as a HC? I don't.
  17. The NFL is about depth. For the right price I would throw some money towards spikes to get him to stay. He's been a big part of this teams D forging an identity and an attitude.
  18. 19-0 baby!!!!!
  19. Good to see though. It shows things are changing around here.
  20. Sure. In hindsight it didn't matter with playoff implications. But last week prior to 4:25 it sure as hell did matter. Absolutely 100% it mattered.
  21. Didn't you know it? All the distractions are why we're 8-7
  22. I don't like the poster above me complaining about the number of times the title has changed.
  23. You'll still be here.
  24. It's ironic how offensively going into the season the expectation was to have a very good rushing team and our ground game has been a gigantic steaming pile of dog poo
