  1. SF turned it around in 1 year, so did Atlanta, and Miami a few years ago from worst to the playoffs in 1 year. I think Ralph just likes to frustrate his fans !
  2. Maybe the Eagles will just cut him since his contract is up anyway and they dont seem like they will resign him.
  3. The first problem is that real talented players don't want to come to Buffalo, since we have long cold winters, lousy restaurants, no nite life and a old stadium ,an older owner who should have sold the team years ago with a reputetion for being cheap and a team that hasn't been in the playoffs for over a decade. That's why the Bills get past their prime guys and so-so players (Langston Walkers, Dwan Edwards etc )from other teams who get over paid to come here. We also try to convert players from what they do best to be something else, Chris Kelsey as an OLB - please ! Our Defense cant decide if its a 4-3 or a 3-4 and that indecision has cost us draft picks and yes games. We have no real Pass rush to speak of look at our sack total for the year its pathethic. Every year we cut loose several of our key guys who play out their old contract and resign somewhere else for big money, POZ, Jabari, Clements, Winfield, Williams, Leonard OUr Draft History is God Awful in the first three rounds, we do way better with 4,5,6 and 7th round talent, than we do with guys who should be studs for our team. ( You know the list of players who have been drafted, played or rode the pine for 3-4 years then left and we labeled them as busts. OR worse the guys who have left and them blossomed somewhere else! We have a group of aging vets that need to be replaced, Kelsey, McGee, Edwards, Merriman for better talent to name a few but we don't yet have the talent to fill their shoes yet. WNY as a whole is in a downward spiral, the economy is bad and getting worse by the day our factories have closed down, and we stopped building things things anymore, and the Bills cant justify raising ticket prices for a bad product in a depressed area. The Stadium needs 100 million in repairs, and we don't even know if the Bills are going to be here when Ralph kicks.
  4. You can never have to many good O-linemen. Next year Lt will be Bell or and Hairston, the other one could more over to RT and the this person could be the Swing Tackle cuz you know we will have injuries.
  5. Jax has been bad for a long time, Del Rio is a better Defensive Coach than Head Coach.
  6. The Bills could give him a 4 game try out and would only have to pay him for those games and not pick up the rest of his salary.
  7. Ever notice how when we trade or give up on players many of them seem to do better in a new place, I think BUffalo is a bad place to start your career for the lAST 10-12 YEARS.
  8. The Bills played well enough to win despite a few bonehead plays. But with the game on the line they didn't deliver. Maybe a home game will do them some good, they haven't been home for a month.
  9. 1. Roscoe, he can't stay healthy, and at 170 pounds he doesn't hold up. 2. McGee , on the wrong side of 30 something and can't finish a season. 3. Leodis, I was hoping for good things from him, but he seems to be in Chan's Dog house and now that he is hurt, I think he could be done 4. Troupe, may get a third year to prove himself but he is on the hot seat for sure ! 5. Merriman, he's like an old car you just keep throwing money at ! 6. Easley, I think get released on a medical. 7. Kelsey, It's time to say good bye, he's no OLB.
  10. #1 need is a pass rush, Pash runshers create fear ala Bruce Smith. We need to find a great Pash rusher in the draft or in free agency and it isn't Shawn Merriman !
  11. I know the ACC isn't the toughest division in football but things must be real different at Clemson, cuz aside from about 2 or 3 runs which her got yards CJ cant hit the hole very fast or at all. Was it just me or did he run into the left tackle like 8 times. We to run more screens with him and more draws or dare i say a reverse, he cant pound between the tackles at 197 pounds.
  12. Don't forget about Pat Williams who was a stud on the D Line.
  13. Because Mclovin got hurt ! Because Mclovin got hurt !
  14. I hope the Bell Era isn't over because otherwise we have st start all over again with Hairston and wait 3 years for him to make something, keep bell and Hairston becomes the swing tackle until he can beat out Pears or Bell Troups is a big disappointmemnt- so much for Conference USA players from UCF ! I wish the Bills would just pick guys from the SEC at least they know how to play, instead of trying to outsmart the rest of the NFl on players like Jasper and troupe.
  15. At least if the Bills went after Orton, he is better than Brad Johnson or Pigpen! OUR back up QB situation is not good !
  16. I guess if it was me, Id bring in an extra tackle to be a blocker, and have Mcintyre be lead blocking all day long to give Spiller some running lanes. I'd also spread the field and maybe run a reverse with him as well.
  17. The Bills don't need another re-tread Qb, But we haven't seen anything positive out of backups Thigpen or Brad Johnson for that matter. Maybe he is better than what we have but that isn't saying much !
  18. Why are there so many threads on this site, Buffalo , rumblings, and the Bills site about former players, like Losman, Lynch, Williams, Edwards, POZ, Hardy, some folks like to live in the past I guess, The Stadium is full of old Jerseys with the same names. You couldn't pay me enough to wear a Losman Jersey or an Edwards. Live in the Now folks !
  19. Its a massive conspiracy by the NFL to screw the Bills and make the Jets look better!
  20. I think we all remember where we were on certain days and nights when the Bills played. For example we all know where we were when the Bills played the Comeback Game against Houston. How about the 2007 Monday Night Game against Dallas when we lost despite 6 Cowboy turnovers. I looked at the 53 man Roster from The Bills for that season, there are 9 players still with the Bills who played in that game, the other 44 players have been released or left. That means in the 4 years since we last played the Cowgirls we have turned over 83 % of our Rooster. Now that has to be some kind of NFL record or close to it anyway. The remaining team members are Roscoe Parrish , Fred Jackson, Kyle Williams, Ryan Lindell, Brian Moorman, Terrance McGee, Bryan Scott, Chris Kelsey and George Wilson. Of those guys Fred Jackson and George Wilson are playing great ball. Kyle is on IR this year but is a main cog of the Bills Defense Roscoe on IR again(what a shock huh)and has played his last game in a Bills uniform in my opinion. Ryan Lindell is still kicking the ball well but got hurt last week trying to make a tackle and is out for 4-6 weeks. Brian Moorman still punts pretty well also, but his career in Buffalo could end in another year or 2. Bryan Scott is also a valued member of the team still and make a fair number of plays. Kelsey had the game of his life against Dallas, with a pass deflection, int and TD all on the same play, but he is more of a role player now. McGee had a kick return for a TD in the game against Dallas but clearly his best days are behind him. The New Look Bills are 5-3 and hopefully they can beat Dallas come Sunday.

  22. I don't Live in WNY anymore either, but I visit my Mom every summer and have flown back for many funerals even during the winter months. I see the run down areas then I also see the signs of progress, but the bad areas are really starting to outweigh the good. The People of Buffalo and WNY are salt of the earth good hardworking folks, and yes there is crime and decay, but if our elected leaders could construct a solid rebirth plan Buffalo could thrive again! It may not have the weather of Florida, but I'll take the people any day of the week. GO BILLS !
  23. Don't forget we were embarrassed on national TV 4 years ago on Monday night by the Cowboys and there are still some players who remember that game and how we lost at the end.
