  1. Fitz - 113 games played - 116 INT Kelly - 160 games played - 175 INT So Kelly had a slightly higher INT/Games played ratio.
  2. ZERO chance they cut EJ unless he commits a felony by cut down day. His contract is guaranteed. Costs the same whether he's here or not. He will be the #2 or #3 QB and then will walk in FA next year.
  3. No. That would be a Dolphins beat reporter
  4. The compensatory picks we were awarded today were based on FA signings/losses from 2015
  5. I would be fine with adding him. Familiar with the system. 27yrs old, so entering his prime. Might be a quality contributor.
  6. Linebacker, Safety and OL depth
  7. EXACTLY. People need to chill. Maybe he was watching the Erin Andrews video.
  8. I would think the Bills are waiting for Philly DA to drop this so they can restructure McCoy's deal and free up cap space. I doubt they will do anything with McCoy's contract until this is resolved.
  9. This is great news and its pretty cool that Richie pretty much broke the news himself on Twitter.
  10. also, Evans was released so he is free to sign a contract today rather than waiting for the UFA signing period.
  11. Maybe Richie overplayed his hand with his contract request and the Bills decided to move on. Evans would be an excellent replacement for Incognito and would probably come at a lower price. He made $3.6m last year. I'd be fine with this signing if it happens. Its also possible that the Bills and Richie come to an agreement after both sides get to peruse the market.
  12. I do believe they will be better than they were last year on both sides of the ball (barring a spate of injuries at RB/WR like last year). But the schedule looks to be much tougher than last season. I'm thinking 9-7 (the Dick Jauron special).
  13. This is exactly how I feel. The Bills got him to sign a cheap "Prove it" deal and he proved it. The got more than their money's worth. Now step up and pay him. Otherwise he will get paid by someone else. He does not owe the Bills any "hometown discount". Get paid while you can, Richie because you know for sure that the Bills will cut you the minute they need your money to pay someone else. If he would've played poorly or got injured, the Bills would've dropped him like a hot potato. The NFL is a business. I don't expect Richie to take less just because they Bills gave him a shot last year. He more than repaid them already. That said, I hope he stays. Personally, I think they will end up overpaying for Cordy and lose Incognito. I personally would try to lock Richie up for 3yrs 7-7.5m. And I would offer Glenn somewhere around $9. I don't think he's worth more than that.
  14. I wish the league would do away with the allowing QBs to intentional ground the ball. Brady does it more than any QB around. This is how he avoids taking hits and how he's been able to play for so long.
  15. I voted TT and EJ. Under optimal circumstances, I'd like to see another veteran backup (Colt McCoy or similar) brought in to compete with EJ for #2. But with the cap being so tight, I don't them to use limited dollars to sign a vet QB. I'm willing to risk it with TT and EJ and draft a QB in Rd 3-4 to develop. There is no cap savings to cutting EJ, so I think it makes the most sense to just stick with these two for 1 more year. Use the limited cap space to get help at LB, or Safety.
  16. I like Darby too, but it is obvious to most that he benefitted from being #2. He struggled mightily when Gilmore was out.
  17. There are only 7 cornerbacks currently averaging over $10m add another 4 that average between $9-10m I think it is more than fair to offer Gilmore a longterm deal that would put his average salary in the top 10. To me the salary will be less of a sticking point than the guaranteed money. Looking at the current contracts, there is a wide range of GTD percentages on the deals (ranging from 32.5% GTD to over 71% on Sherman's deal). Obviously the team will want to keep the GTD percentage low, while they player will want it as high as possible. My prediction will be a 5-6 yr deal averaging between 10-11m per with 40-60% GTD, Something like 5yr $53m ($28m GTD)
  18. Sherman's average is $14m Haden is $12.5m I'd like to see Gilmore in is $9-11 range.
  19. I think Mario ultimately ends up getting cut. He didn't buy in to Rex's system and I doubt he ever will. He wants to rush the passer, which makes him a 1 down player worth maybe $3-4m. I don't believe he will accept that big of a pay cut. I also believe that they will get a deal done with Incognito and Glenn. I think they will get an extension done with Taylor, but it probably won't happen until during the season. I think they will put the framework in place in the offseason and finalize it during the season like they did with Fitz. I expect their #1 pick will be a front seven player (DL or LB).
  20. It's called Negotiation. What sense would it make for him to come out and say "Oh boy, TT is awesome and we are going to break the bank to re-sign him at any cost".
  21. It certainly makes sense to have discussions. If he and his agent are willing to accept a reasonable deal, great. If not, let things play out. I don't expect the Bills to be running to the table with a $100m deal right now.
  22. Maybe they'll be so desperate to win that they will cheat. Oh, wait...been there, done that.
  23. Wait, I thought the media story this whole season was how the Deflategate scandal fueled Brady and the Cheatriots drive to a Superbowl championship?
