Back a few years ago when the arguments were going on about Fitz there were many Bills Fans, right here (not you Sisyphean), that felt Fitz would continue to get better and follow the Drew Brees career arc...I was asking two simple questions...What if he does not get better? And what if he gets worse? I'm telling you, this thing could be seen from a million miles away...Fitz was what he was and what he will always be...And somehow he managed to cloud the minds of two guys (Nix and Gailey) who have been around the NFL and Football for a long time...It boggles the mind...

Geno Smith may go #1 overall...In fact it's still likely...After that it's wide open certainly...Too many people are looking at Barkley...And that's not where we should be looking...IMHO, the other QB's that can fly up after the Sr Bowl and Combine based on their potential are Mike Glennon, and Tyler Wilson...I think when it's all said and done 3 QB's will go in the Top 15...I'm just not sure which yet...But I REALLY doubt Barkley is one of them...

This Team can make a million moves...It matters not...if they don't get better at QB it will mostly not matter...Coach, Offense, Defense...It won't matter...It won't result in enough wins in a Season...Period...

Honestly one of the purest bush-league moves I've ever seen...And I've been watching the NFL WAY too long...It was REAL classless...It made me FAR more angry than what his great football team did to the pathetic Bills...When you have a great team playing the way they were playing, how do you pull a move like that? Incredible douche-baggery...

it's not about feeling sorry for The Bills...It's about being bush-league on Carroll's part...That was the definition of bush-league...

I simply cannot believe The Bills passed on this kid...And all it would have taken was a freaking 3rd Round pick...

Nix said the Bills need was greater at speed WR than QB...By the looks of Wilson he could have addressed both needs...

That play was a perfect example of how poor Fitz is in the pocket...He does that type of thing a lot... Instead of extending the play he chucks and ducks...You can see him do this every week...It's nothing new...

Well he was 340 at Camp...Not sure what he's weighing in at now...But I do know 340 is WAY heavy for him...He was 318 at his Combine...

This team has one consistent...They feed off of each other...In a bad way...One bad play leads to another on Offense and Defense...When things start going downhill, they go downhill fast because one side of the ball rarely picks the other one up...

I heard the interview live...On the follow up question when Howard pressed him on his previous comments concerning having to Draft a QB a Round early, Buddy fumbled through it basically and said when they get to the Pick they re-evaluate the Board based on the need or something like that...To me it sounded like he was saying we will stick with our Board, but elevate QB's based on the fact that we know they will go earlier...It was confusing...And I'm not saying I'm remembering it perfectly either...

Well...To be fair to Buddy (and that's about the last thing I want to do) he did back away from the BPA statement when it came to the QB saying they would basically elevate QB's they liked due to need...Or something like that...

Speed WR was a bigger need for the Bills...

Right...I understood that part...But you have to figure all these Teams with more 20 yd-plus plays have at least a few of those screens or swing passes that broke for a nice gain...I'm thinking in the end it will all average out to The Bills being no where near good enough...Big surprise!

Of all the embarrassing statistics tied to The Bills 2012 Season, this has to rank near the top...If the 16th and 17th ranked teams have 40, and 39, 20 yd-plus pass plays respectively...And The Bills are sitting at 7??? Really? 7? That seems impossible...

Agreed... I like Smith a ton...And despite the fact that some want to push him down the board a bit, which would be awesome for The Bills, I don't see it happening...In the end I just don't believe you complete 71% of your passes in major College Football by accident...Smith is known to be a Football junkie who prepares extremely well, works hard, and is smart...His arm is more than adequate, and I think he'll show at the Combine that he is a pretty decent athlete...Sure he's not a prospect on the level of Luck...But who is? And Luck is not in the 2013 Draft anyway...I think for all these reasons, and more, Smith still ends up going #1 overall...A Team like KC simply cannot afford to pass on Smith and be wrong...Though I hope they, and a few others, do...

While I like a few prospect QB's in this Draft, Barkley is not really one of them...I don't think he's a 1st Round QB prospect...Though I will say the kid showed me a TON of toughness this year...Watch that Stanford game...He's got absolutely mauled in that game and kept bouncing back...It's tough to 100% evaluate Barkley's Sr season because of that USC O-Line and the fact that he was facing some big-time pressure WAY too often...Still...I'm not crazy about Barkley's arm, athletic ability, or his size...I'd rather see The Bills pass on him...We'll see...
