  1. I think Brandon has already painted himself into a tough corner concerning the Toronto game...His statement, on multiple occasions now, is crystal clear..."Nothing comes before winning..." Well that would seemingly end the Toronto experiment immediately...Because Home Teams win in the NFL...19 teams had winning records at Home this year...Only 8 teams had losing records...It is absolutely obvious the Bills lose Home Field advantage in Toronto...When a team that plays their Home Games 900 miles south can put as many fans in the seats as the Bills can it's glaringly obvious the Bills give up Home Field advantage in this ridiculous experiment...Not to mention the most obvious stat of all...The Bills are now 1-5 in Toronto... So if nothing comes before winning Russ HAS to pull the plug on Toronto...He really has no choice...If he doesn't...then winning is not the most important thing...
  2. I looked to me like Joe B was saying one each in the 1st and 2nd...Whatever you don't get in the 1st take in the 2nd...But maybe I'm reading it wrong...
  3. I think a tag and trade is the most likely possibility here...Though I do wonder what this season truly did for Byrd's market value...While instinctively he is still clearly one of the best Free Safeties in the NFL, it looked to me that...at least some of the time...the PF was slowing Byrd down...To me he does not look like he's moving as well as he used to, especially in a straight line...And I think that's going to show up on tape...It may be best for the Bills to tag him, put their best offer on the table, and then allow Parker to shop around for a team willing to trade...My guess is Parker will find out quickly that teams are unwilling to make Byrd the highest paid FS in the league...And maybe the Bills offer will be the best one regardless...We'll see...But this thing is FAR from decided that's for sure...
  4. I agree Kirby...And though I'm certainly not a Whitner fan I do agree with those who have pointed out time and time again it was not Whitner's fault he got Drafted so high... And actually Mike Williams career was quite a bit better than Maybin's...That's how bad Maybin was...
  5. No offense PTR...But there is literally nothing I miss about Fitz... Nothing... Then again I never really liked him so...
  6. That's a matter of opinion... Happy New Year!!!
  7. Seeing as though I fully believe the Bills will pass on him if he does fall to #9...I REALLY hope you're right...The last thing this team needs is another coulda, woulda, or shoulda concerning the QB position...
  8. Especially this kid... He's been anointed...He's VERY confident...And if you're going to Draft him, be ready for Tebow-like attention...He's a celebrity...He will put tremendous pressure on the starter if he's the back-up...But that's not necessarily a bad thing...
  9. I would say the chances of the Bills Drafting any QB, Manziel included are slim and none...And Slim has left town... That being said I would not be unhappy if they did Draft him...I just don't think there is a chance in hell it's going to happen... And I still like EJ...It's just that...The way this league is now I would not blame any team for trying to strike gold at the QB position...Even if it's in consecutive years...QB is King...
  10. IMHO He's been impressive for two years...I know we had a conversation here after his Bowl game last year and I was VERY impressed with his accuracy in that game...And that was no where near one of his better games last season...I think this year was more of the same with Johnny Football...Personally I think the biggest issue with him in the NFL will be reigning him in a bit concerning when he takes off to run...He's not a big kid and NFL Defenders can be absolute monsters...If I was the team that Drafted him I would install an Offense similar to Seattle's because all along I've felt that the QB Manziel reminds me of most is Russell Wilson... I've always liked Manziel's chances...But I think his success will depend on where he goes, and how effective that team is in finding an Offense that matches his skills, while keeping him from getting killed at the same time...
  11. I thought LaBatt was still around? Could have sworn I saw a post not too long ago... Then again I'm always wrong...
  12. But you have to wonder right? I do...I REALLY do...
  13. Well...I would not say one Pro Bowl in his 7th season is exactly setting the world on fire either... Considering the fact that the Bills were in need of help at DT in 2006, and they passed a guy that seemed to be the most obvious pick there...And that guy went on to become a 5 time (so far) All-Pro and SB Champ...It's still safe to say it was a pretty crappy pick...Whitner has proven he's a decent player when he's surrounded by incredible talent...But he'll never be a #8 overall-type talent...Of course it's not his fault he was Drafted that high...But still...
  14. Texas A&M's Defense is certainly not ready for Prime Time...
  15. I listened to the whole thing live and this was the single point I remembered most... For those wishing for Stevie's departure, for all the generalization and cloudy answers during this Presser, the Whaley answer about Stevie was probably the most specific...It does not seem like Whaley is having any anti-13 thoughts...
  16. I am as well...I like him a lot... I want Ebron or Evans in the first... I'll also point out two years ago I wanted Alshon Jeffery REAL bad...I mean REAL bad...So...I fully expect that I'll be right again...
  17. Lori and ICE... No one knew how to stir the pot better...
  18. My bloodlust is no where close to being fulfilled yet...
  19. Phil Anselmo would be awesome!!! RE-SPECT-WALK!!! Oh not that Anselmo? Never mind...
  20. Oh OK I see...
  21. I think that fact should be impossible for any Bills fan to completely ignore...But some still do...Williams is one of the best penetrating DT's in the league...One of the better pass rush DT's in the league...But he's a mixed bag vs the run...If he beats his man clean he can make a play in the backfield from time to time...But if he does not beat his man clean it's trouble...And sometimes the holes created are massive...
  22. I completely agree...The Bills would be far better suited to grab an inside thumper and move Kiko to the weak side... But be prepared for the Mack love...Not that it's the same situation because Mack is clearly a very good NFL prospect...But I fully expect the Mack love to squash the level of Nassib love we saw from some last off season...
