  1. Nobody said anything about a kings ransom...The only thing that was said is that a 5th is a joke...No need for over exaggeration...
  2. I don't disagree with the point in general Bill...But good grief...A 5th for Spiller is ridiculous...I'm not even saying they could get a 1st or anything like that...But a 5th? That's just insulting...
  3. I may not be the biggest CJ Spiller supporter in the world...But I think a 5th for him is laughable...He may or may not be an every-down NFL RB...But CJ can do things most players just can't do...And to this day I swear I've never seen a player get to top speed as fast as CJ does...I think CJ would still be a 1st round pick in this Draft, and this Draft is loaded...Maybe not #9 overall...But he'd go in the 1st... A 5th is insulting...I would literally take that as an insult...
  4. You're right...But if you're comparing Glenn and Martin as players I think the example does not hold up...I was a big supporter of Glenn coming out and yes I did think he could play LT in the NFL...Why? Because he huge, long, athletic, and very strong... Glenn is almost 2 inches taller than Martin, 30 lbs heavier, his arms are almost 3 inches longer, he did 2 more reps at 225, and based on Martin's 40 time last Spring Glenn is even faster than Martin...To me at least Cordy Glenn is pretty much a prototype physical specimen for the NFL LT of today...While I think Martin is a good prospect, I don't think he's as good as Glenn coming out...And I realize I'm in the minority in that opinion...But I think in 5 years Cordy Glenn will be an All Pro and Zack Martin will be a solid, maybe Pro Bowl OG...I would not take Martin at #9...I would definitely be interested in him as a trade down option...But not at #9...And especially not at #9 if Matthews or Lewan are still available... Of course all this is assuming the Bills absolutely have to have an OT at #9...Which is a pretty bad way to go about the Draft...Especially a Draft this deep in talent at the top...
  5. Fair enough...One season ticket SOLD!!!...
  6. That would go over like a lead balloon... Good luck to the Bills trying to sell that pick at #9...This board alone will implode...Can't imagine how bad the fallout would be from that...Don't want to imagine...Don't even want to think about it...
  7. This Bills were Justin Rogers away from sweeping the Jets last year even with EJ's poor performance in NJ... Eric Davis knows nothing...He shall pay for his indiscretions...He shall pay!!!
  8. There's nothing more important than sincerity when you're crushing on someone...
  9. To be fair, it's coming out now because he was charged with 3 counts of assault...I'm a Michigan fan and believe me when I tell you I have no interest in hurting Lewan or taking the other side...But you're right...The Ann Arbor police wanted nothing to do with charging Lewan...Then it was investigated further and he was charged with assault (2 charges) and aggravated assault (one charge)...I've read just about everything you can possibly imagine concerning the incident...And all I can say is there are two very, very different accounts of what actually happened...Not saying which one is accurate...Just saying...
  10. I don't disagree if they can get Spiller at a decent rate...It's not going to be an easy decision though...It's going to depend greatly on Marrone and Hackett and how they view CJ...I like CJ a lot...Always have (followed his career at Clemson very closely and saw him live a couple times), even though I was very much against the Bills Drafting him (I just don't believe stockpiling talent, especially at RB with 1st round picks, is effective team building)...But that's all the past now...In my mind the question still remains whether or not CJ is truly a feature back, or if he is much more suited to a Darren Sproles-type of role...Which a heck of an important role on a good team...Anyway...We'll see...
  11. The OP said 40 or later JPS...Follow the rules or risk being disqualified... And Aaron Murray is most definitely outside the top 40 on most boards...
  12. That's a good one too!!!
  13. First off...no offense...But there's rarely a context I don't understand...We're just going to have to disagree on the bolded text and move on...I simply don't see that happening...If the Bills win Whaley will have a great chance to stay...If they lose...not so much...It won't be dependent on this pick...Certainly not dependent on this pick alone...
  14. Evans a luxury pick? A 6-5 WR that had 2500 yds and 17 TD's in only 2 SEC seasons with a 10 ft catch radius is a luxury?
  15. I like CJ...I think he's a good kid...But how could he not understand that saying he's going to reach out to Byrd is just about the dumbest thing he could possibly say in this town at this time? Good grief...
  16. Why? Do we really need to go into the list of RB's Drafted after the 4th Round that have had success in the NFL? Our most popular player happens to be a RB that was not even Drafted...I'm not saying I'm against taking a RB in the 2nd or 3rd...But it's never going to be a must...
  17. I have a few... Jordan Matthews - WR Phillip Gaines - CB Ahmad Dixon - SS Jack Mewhort - OT Telvin Smith - OLB Trent Murphy - DE/OLB Max Bullough - ILB A.J. McCarron - QB Tre Mason - RB That's just off the top of my head...
  18. Oh I think Mack is much better than Mosley don't get me wrong... Just talking about Tampa Bay possibilities at #7...And of course my assumption would be that Mack is gone by #7...
  19. I think Lovie would welcome a trade down to somehow land CJ Mosely...I'm just guessing...But Lovie and Mosley seem like a perfect match for what he likes to do on Defense...
  20. I think he's the pick if he's there... But I doubt he'll be there unless there is a crazy run on QB's and Sammie Watkins falls to Tampa Bay...I've been reading a lot about the Bucs pick...There are Tampa fans who feel they already have a definitive #1 WR and the smart move would be to get one of the elite OT's and grab a WR at #38 because the depth at WR is much better than the depth at OT this year (sound familiar Bills fans?)...But I think for the same reasons many Bills fans have favored Evans, the majority of Bucs fans feel the same way... One thing that is interesting about the Bucs situation is they have a new, experienced HC who is a Defensive guy...The Bucs Defense was right in the middle of the NFL last year...But they have to deal with the Saints, Panthers, and Falcons in Division...I'm 100% certain Lovey would not mind adding a top Defensive talent at #7 overall...The question is will there be anyone there that rivals Evans or one of the OT's in their minds?...And I'm guessing the answer to that question will be no...Which leads me to the possibility of a Tampa Bay trade down...There are also some Bucs followers who seem to think they will look to trade down a bit...The move from #9 to #7 wont cost much...That may be a trade up for the Bills to consider...
  21. They're not looking at Fuller as a possibility at #9...That much I can pretty much guarantee...In a trade down, or in the 2nd maybe (if he slides a bit)...But not at #9...No way...
  22. So...Does this mean I can begin to hope that Bon Jovi will graduate from being the most hated man in WNY to being the most despised man in America? Hey...A guy can dream...
