  1. Hopefully the games dioesn't go into OT. After 4 hours you will need to seek immediate medical attantion
  2. Had a dog named Kelly, who has since "retired" and now one named Bailey -- maybe named after Carlton Bailey
  3. You make a good point! Consistancy of an opinion is not a requirement for a columnist. It goes along with the saying "it doesn't matter what people are saying as long as they are talking about you". Sullivan writes things to get a rise out of people and he does that well. What he actually believes is not important and I expect not always what he writes.
  4. You have to like that both Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas are going to go over and play in this game, even is it's just an exhibition. Connect to Home Bowl
  5. I try not to pay attention when he talks. it's almost always a stupid statement when he opens his mouth.
  6. My Bad -- I looked on the wrong line in the stat sheet -- sorry.
  7. Yeah, I know that argument and it does hold some water, but Mighigan would have been a bottom 25 team without Robinson. He was just as valuable to Mighigan as Newton was to Auburn -- he just did not have the supporting cast. It's time to look at the player and what he accomplished rather than the team and what they accomplished. It's an individual award. You have not seen him play much, I guess. He thru for over 2300 yards which was alot more than Cam Newton thru for
  8. You have obviously not followed the Haynesworth saga. he's a player with enormous talent when he wants to use it, which isn't that often. he is a "me first" player who has no sense of team. He makes T. O. look like a real team first guy. You don't want this guy around if your smart.
  9. I know this question isn't about the Bills, but I figured there are alot of smart folks here that might know the answer to this question: Why hasn't Denard Robinison of Mighigan garnered any Heisman Trophy consideration? He's passed for over 2300 yards & 16 TDs as well as rushing for over 1600 yards and 14 more TD's. I know his team hasn't been great, but he can't help it if they have a defense that can't stop anyone. Is Michigan on some sort or probation?
  10. I'm not sure who else is late in their contract, but i agree we should resign the guys you have mentioned. To your point about Poz, he does have a bunch of tackles, but he's not a top 5 LB in this league.
  11. I see him being used similar to how the Saints use Reggie Bush. of course that won't really look good until the Bills get a little upgrade in overall talent on the o-line.
  12. I'm sorry to hear this. He was always enjoyable to listen to and better than he got credit for on the field. I remember a guest stint (voice only) on "King of the Hill" that was good.
  13. Guys, I know back before the year started there was alot of discussion on whether the Bills should go after Michael Vick. Most folks were against it not only for moral reasons of what Vick did, but because we weren't sure whether or not he'd ever return to his more productive self. As it has turned out, he is even better than he was in Atlanta. Given that, in looking at what both Vick and Fitzgerald bring to the table I am not convinced that Vick could have performed in Buffalo as well as Fitzy has this year. Although Vick has great escapability, it's his pocket performance and his ability to remain there that is making him great in Philly. For most of the year the Bills really have not had any pocket performance because if the ball isn't out very quickly it's not coming out. Fitzy's strength is his making quick decisions and getting the ball out. Holding the ball in the pocket is not an option in Buffalo. I'm not sure Vick would have done better than Fitzy on the Bills this year. That said, as the team improves Vick would have certainly been a better long term QB solution, but right now I'm happy with Fitz.
  14. I was wondering if anyone has done the research on how the Bills have fared against Bret Farve in his career? I'm hoping we're above .500 against him, but don't really know. Let's make it one more loss to wish him a happy retirement!
  15. Great point -- the Bill sneed D-Line for sure, but our LB's, especially our OLB's are pretty bad. We need a major upgrade there -- a real playmaker.
  16. Try the name Clay Matthews. That guy has does it all the time this year when he's been on the field and he did it against Buffalo.
  17. I think most folks recognize how well Kyle Williams has played this year. That said, I have to question someone who thinks he should be defensive player of the year. he may be dominating his man, but he is not dominating the game. if he was, the Bills defense would have many more 3 and outs. I am not trying to diss KW, but you can't be the defensive player of the year if you can't lead your defense to being one of the best.
  18. You have got to be kidding. Wilcots is easily the worst color man on the TV today, and that is saying alot. He reacts to the last play, not the game.
  19. Kyle Williams has had a great year and i agree he should be considered for the Pro Bowl. The question people might ask is how can a DT on the team who is worst against the run be on the Pro Bowl. The answers in the Bills case are 2: 1. The LB's stink as a team. Wrong attack angles when they attack and slow reactions 2. The DE's can't hold the corner. They get trapped inside far too easily.
  20. I absolutely agree -- the throwbacks uniforms are better than the current. I will say that I'm more a fan of the current helmet than the throwback helmet, although both are good. The current road white uniforms are the worst of them all.
  21. Is there a worse TV Analyst than Soloman Wilcots. When I listen to him it drives me nuts. Whatever occurred in the last 3 minutes is what he says is happening the entire game. Bad short term memory I guess. He does not accurately describe what is happening and every once in a while he throws some obscure coaching term into the discussion in order to try to make him sound like he knows something.
  22. I'm not thinking him -- waste of a 1st round pick.
  23. McKelvin did have a bad game yesterday -- one of the worst I've seen him play. Overall he has not been bad this year on the corner. He's been as good as anyone else -- of course not sure that says alot. I liked Drayton Florence last year -- he's not playing as well this year. The lack of pass rush plus the fact we need to sell out in order to stop the run are both factors in making the d-backs look bad this year.
  24. My question is why are we signing this guy? Like this is going to make a difference. If he was any good he'd be playing. Unless he can play on the O-Line or at LB I don't understand it.
