  1. If this comes down to our run offense against their run defense and vise versa that is a good thing for the Bills...what makes the Pats dangerous is that they can beat you so many different ways, if the weather makes them one dimensional it's good for the Bills.
  2. Denny is an "established" player?
  3. I'd rather have an average saftey than an average corner...moving Vincent to S isn't the best move imo...particularly since he still has to learn the position.
  4. When they walked off the field after game 4 of the WS, they were losers...
  5. Weren't you the originator of that memo before you flip flopped?
  6. I'd guess than anybody who wants to fly in from out of town for a game had better do it before week 7...because after that you might get screwed.
  7. People can bash Dr. Z all they want, he's not a great writer, but he knows more about football and watches more games and breaks down more tapes than anybody this side of Jaws. From a mailbag a few weeks ago: I would have liked him to go into greater detail about what he doesn't like about Mckinnie…hopefully he’ll do so in the future. As for my take on this issue, I've watched every Vikings game this year that wasn't on opposite of the Bills (Culpepper is on my fantasy team)...and McKinnie has been anything but impressive. The guy isn't quick enough out of his stance to stop speed rushers (as we witnessed Monday night) and Culpepper constantly faces pressure from that side...even when Culpepper isn't sacked if he takes off running it's almost always because of pressure from his back side. People can bash MW all they want, hey, it's in fashion, but he is by far the best run blocker we have on this team. It's amazing how much more successful we are running behind him to the right than we are to the left. People want a top 4 guy to come in and dominate and MW didn't, so he gets ragged on...I'll admit, much of it is deserved, but not all of it. The guy is making strides this year and seems to be steadily improving (and anybody notice how he is rarely called for penalties...probably not). Who knows if he'll ever be the dominant guy we all want him to be...but I have a feeling that even if he was there would be people on here lauding McKinnie because they have a need to be "right" about who they wanted to draft. Bottom line is both McKinnie and MW have been disappointments...at least MW is dominant in one aspect of his game, McKinnie's run blocking is nothing to write home about either.
  8. I don't think you can pack in the season and start looking towards next year until our 8th loss is on the board.
  9. That sounds...err....painful
  10. McKinnie sure looksa lot better than M. Williams tonight.
  11. What did all those yards get us this year? Nadda. He did a great job for us the past 2 seasons, but he's not the best back on this team anymore.
  12. The Playoffs are played almost 2 months from now...let's see if the Steelers can play this well for 2 more months...I doubt it. They're peaking at the wrong time...some other team will end up peaking in Dec./Jan...and that team will end up in the SB as the AFC representative...my guess, the Pats.
  13. My interpretation of that wasn’t that Bannon was going to switch over and become an offensive lineman, but that the packages he is involved in are a permanent part of the offense.
  14. Yep, you're aboslutely right. Even if we fall behind 14 early MM had better just keep plugging away with the running game. We have no chance in hell of winning if we throw the ball more than 25 times.
  15. The Steelers are peaking right now...which isn't good for them in the long run. There is no way they maintain this level of play throughout the rest of the season and into the playoffs. The team that wins the AFC won't be the one that peaks in Nov. I'm not worried about the last game of the season right now. The season is a marathon, the team that looked dominant at one point of the season could be the team that tanks it late only to miss the playoffs (the Vikings anybody?).
  16. Do you think, perhaps, that some people were "calling it like they see them" in the NJSue thread? I'm sure that doesn't count in your book though. It sounds like you have the right to "call it like you see them" and resort to name-calling...but nobody else does.
  17. Again, the namecalling. I wish SDS would do something about this...
  18. Laugh, the hypocrisy of some people is absolutely hilarious. So, it's all right for you to call people pathetic and such, but it’s not okay for them to call someone else a name? Why, because you feel you have a legitimate reason to call someone a name? Has it ever crossed your mind that they feel they have a legitimate reason as well? Whether you agree with their reasoning or not isn’t the point. You and BF have no clue how ridiculous you look when you resort to name-calling when the entire point of your posts is that this type of behavior has made the wall unbearable.
  19. Hell, if we'd just held on to win 1 of those 2 games in which we had a late lead...we'd be 4-4 right now and right in the thick of the playoff chase. As it is now, we have to win 2 straight just to get to .500.
  20. Do you like running the ball? Because MW is, by far, our best run blocking Olineman...we are far more successful running to the right than we are to the left.
  21. Not that I'm offering an excuse for our poor play during prime time...but to be fair, we're always on the road against a quality opponent in these matchups. That's not generally a recipe for success for any franchise…that being said, GD it’d be nice to win one for a change.
  22. I was under the impression that the team that wins the opening coin toss gets to: 1)have the ball or 2) which side of the field they will defend on the first kickoff. I was under the impression the Bills got to make the same decision in the 2nd half, though, obvioulsy, I could be wrong...
  23. I'll take a wild guess and say we go 3-2 through this stretch of games...which isn't bad really. However, with the start we had to this season, we can't afford to go 3-2...but it doesn't mean we can't enjoy the progress this team has made and have a good time when they win.
  24. So you get to cherry pick when it's appropriate for you AND for everybody else to make a flame? And if posters don't meet your specific criteria then those posters are "the worst type of human there is" (again paraphrasing). If you could just make a post, kinda like a Flamers’ Constitution of TBD that let's us all know what rights we have as flamers and under which circumstances said flames are appropriate I'd appreciate it. I think you've already written the first amendment: 1) There shall be no flaming of people asking for help with homework... I'd be very interested in seeing the rest. If someone calls me a "dumbass" is it okay to flame 'em (hint hint)? What if they go on a rampage threatening posters with violence, calling them jerks, jackasses, and a variety of other names that actually get censored? Is it okay then? I mean, if flames are okay on occasion, we all need to know when those occasions are. Thanks in advance…
  25. I'm surprised you're not suddenly a Steeler fan
