The Pro-Bowl is done by conference and position, so why you're giving total NFL stats as well as TEs included in your numbers I don't know. For AFC WRs Moulds ranks: 3rd in receptions 8th in yards (just 55 yards from being in the top 3) 11th in TDs (1 more TD he'd be tied for 4th...keep in mind 5 of the top10 are all Colts players...) So while Moulds’ numbers aren't eye popping in and of themselves, those are pretty amazing stats given the immovable object that is our offense. Will he make the Pro-Bowl? His chances are just as good anybody not named Marvin Harrison (who will get in on name recognition alone)

You make it sound like the AFL was a sure shot investment. It wasn't, those owners took a risk with their cash and it paid off for 'em. Why hold it against them? Nobody on that list, nobody, has done more for the NFL than Ralph Wilson. If the Bills were winning right now, would Ralph deserve it in your mind then? Because this just sounds like you're pissed that the team hasn't been winning lately and he's making money off of it and nothing more. Also, did Steve Young and Dan Marino make millions from football? Is that a reason they shouldn't be let in?

So, after reading this entire thread I have just one question that's been bugging me since page 3: Is someone a moron if they drink every Saturday night but don't wake up Sunday morning with a hangover?

You can't fight it, so don't bother. IF EM doesn't show that he's as frusterated as the fans people scream, "He doesn't care! Why am I getting upset over this team if the players don't care!" If he does display frusteration its, "get rid of his unhappy ass!" Unless a team is winning its a lose/lose situation for these guys, even the ones that produce.

I'm not going to say the guy isn't a good QB, but Roethlisberger is in an easy situation in Pit. They have a dominant Oline, a dominant running game and good WRs. If a QB isn't successful in that situation, he shouldn't be starting in this league. The guy makes accurate throws and is great at sensing pressure and alluding it. I'm not taking anything away from the skills he's displaying, but at some point people need to realize that any starting QB in the league should be successful with that type of O around him. Even Drew could succeed with that running game and Oline.

Most people don't have the time, patience or intelligence to understand anything with any depth or subtlety. Just look at what is popular in TV, music, movies and novels...trash sells. You realize, of course, that Cowher was a rookie HC when TD hired him...so by your reasoning it seems like TD should never hire another rookie heac coach based on what happened the first time.

I never had faith in him. He's been consistantly toasted all year long. Putting TV at S when he comes back is a mistake imo.

And the biggest problem is that of the wildcard teams you've listed above, 2 of the 4 teams with the best records have the tiebreaker over the Bills.

I'm as excited as anybody that the Bills have turned this dung-heap of a season around and have looked respectable lately, but let's be somewhat realistic. 9-7 isn't getting it done. We have 5 conference losses, we're not winning any tiebreakers with a 9-7 record. We've also lost to two of the possible wild card teams, the Ravens and the Jags. 10-6 is the only shot we have at the playoffs...and we're not going 7-1 to finish the season. I can see us going 5-3, and if we somehow manage to win tonight even 6-2, but neither of those records will get it done.

Herm Edwards consistantly has his team playing disciplined ball...they rarely make mistakes that kill them (today being an exception with that late hit penalty). They are the least penalized team in the NFL over his 4 year tenure...there is more to coaching that just clock management.

Not that I'm going to defend Denny's play...but the way you're defining it, no matter who lost the battle between Denney and Kelsay they would be termed a "bust"...even if both were solid players...both of 'em can't start at the same position. That being said...I've yet to see Denny do anything that impressed me on a semi consistant basis.

Speaking of intentionally trying to knock QBs out of games...What was the name of that Dlineman who (I believe) played for the Packers in the mid 80s that had a towel with a list of QBs names on it that he purposely tried to knock out of games? A friend and I were discussing this just the other day but neither of us could remember this clown's name.
