  1. Win games and everybody can just say it's the haters being jealous (see: Patriots.)
  2. I dislike Cowherd and don't listen to him so I'm not sure what this is about. What did he do/say that was racist?
  3. He absolutely does, which is why I found it interesting that he'd put the spotlight on IK when there was no need. I guess this is his attempt to grab some of it back.
  4. Considering I was having fun at the expense of the OP and not Hawking your offense is misplaced.
  5. Is this really necessary? Can't you just disagree with his opinion without resorting to this type of post? As much as I disagree with FireChan's opinions I rarely - if ever - see him resort to this. Yet, he's the troll?
  6. It is a soapbox, you're just decrying your fellow fans instead of the coach. If you found it so meaningless you wouldn't have posted 5+ times in this thread. When a thread doesn't speak to me I don't read it, much less post in it.
  7. Now that is true. Jets fans should be cheering IK.
  8. Of course not, it was just a joke.
  9. And to defend idiocy is yours. And you're right up there on your soapbox too, just across the street.
  10. If that's all it is then why bother bringing negative attention to your franchise? He made something insignificant into a story. The focus should be on football, not on the 3 ring circus. But hey, apologists gotta come up with some juicy rationalizations to defend the franchise no matter what. And if Rex sends out former players of teams what was he doing in the Jax game when he sent out the starting OL? Did I miss something and the entire OL used to play for Jax? Yeah, I'm sure it was just coincidence that the Bills former HC only managed to get an OL coaching gig and it wasn't a dig at him at all. As for the post about "moral outrage" I see none of that here. I see fans who are embarrassed of their HC because he's acts like an immature tool on occasion.
  11. He's obviously faking his ALS.
  12. What kind of honor does this give IK? You think he likes the additional attention that his assault will garner this week? Before it was a back story, now its front and center. Its a distraction that brings unwanted attention. As much as people are saying, "its the same every week" its not the same this week.
  13. I didnt mention an effect on the game at all. I dont know if it effects the outcome or not (and neither do you.) All I said is it reflects poorly on the team. perhaps that doesnt matter to most, but I'd like my team to conduct itself with some class. I do find it odd that you end with "football is an emotional game" yet state that these types of things have "no effect on the game."
  14. There's that too. Win games and let the media and fans focus on that. Thats the only type of attention I want for the Bills. In the event that they can't win then don't draw any attention. As some one said upstream, how many times does Rex have to have sh*t fly back in his face before he learns his lesson? Does he not understand that he can have confidence and personality without being an douche or making proclamations?
  15. Because he trolls all the time when he pulls out his big troll that makes everything alright? I dont like it week to week (and have said as much) and it is particulalrly immature and classless this week. You guys act like Rex is just on a ride and that he has no control over. "Well, thats the way it is every week so there ya go!"
  16. Does it really matter? Anybody but Brady can go down and they'll go down to the nearest 7-11, pick out a replacement, and get great results with him.
  17. I made it pretty clear. If you're incapable of finding meaning in it, I can't help you.
  18. Every action an individual takes has meaning. Whether one wants to acknowledge it or try to interpret it is another matter. Rex represents this franchise. All his actions reflect on the franchise in one way or another. This decision reflects poorly on the team. There is no reason for it other than to be a smug SOB who thinks it's funny. That smacks of immaturity. If that's how fans want their franchise to be represented then so be it. And I'm not an "anti-Rex" guy. I was all for his hiring and I think he did a good job for most of his tenure with the Jets. I had hoped - wrongly apparently- that he would fix some his shortcomings the second time around.
  19. Rex might be the most immature head coach I've ever seen. The team should have real captains who are acknowledged as such instead of using it to troll former teams of players.
  20. I didn't see the vid of Cam doing it but in the pic above the banner isn't hanging, the people are holding it.
  21. That's great but you can't take a few guys who have been successful with it (though I wouldn't put Walker in that category, though you could include Eddie George) and say "SEE, IT DOESN'T MATTER." Karlos might have a long an illustrious career with his upright style, or he may take big hit after big hit and be out of football in a few years. Who knows.
  22. Agreed. Part of what makes the D's Revis plays on so effective is the simple belief by the offense that "we can't throw to that half of the field." I wouldn't target Revis but I wouldn't stay away form him either. Use the entire field and the O will be better for it.
  23. And the safety bit badly on that slant as well which meant no help over the top.
