  1. Bulaga was absolutely abused on Sunday...I don't seem him playing LT, he'll wind up at RG or RT. And he was picked into the mid-20's so it's not exactly like he came right off the board after us (Davis came off before him to SF as a matter of fact).
  2. ? When was the last time the first pick in the draft was traded?
  3. He's probably just a few pounds away from prototypical NT weight.
  4. I think it was more of a performance issue. Again SEA, OAK, and CLE all had QB needs and they all also passed on Clausen in the 2nd. And for all of the Edwards hate here and in the media for the past few days, who can you honestly say that you feel confident would beat Edwards out in training camp outside of Bradford?
  5. I'm pretty sure we got the same criticisms for last year's drafts...No OT, no QB, draft bad. The draft looks like it may have turned out pretty good. The same sort of thing happened last year (the good picks at least). Wood, Nelson, maybe even Byrd all seemed to be BPA and we moved up for Levitre.
  6. I love how Oakland is a winner because they picked a raw tackle that no one wanted for over 4 rounds and traded a pick in 2012 (two drafts from now!) for an average QB.
  7. I think that the bolded part goes without saying. As a matter of fact it looks like Dick has been the most influential man in that draft room for the past few years. We haven't had a GM since Donahoe.
  8. The Patriots "win" the draft every year according to the experts. Think about it, when are the Pats drafts EVER criticized? The fact of the matter is that they have ONE player remaining from the 2007 draft. Three years is about right.
  9. I know, I love the mentality, U respect what Tim Graham continues to beat the same drum and it is so ridiculous to me. As Bill Parcells says you are what you are and what Jimmy Clausen was was the 48th pick in the draft, not the 9th best player. Imagine if the common man had no access to mock drafts or the inside analysis, imagine reading some of these articles then when they criticize a team for not picking the guy who went 28th or 48th with the 9th pick. Ludicrous.
  10. Mike McLaughlin, BC, ILB for depth/ST
  11. Funny...in basking in the joy of taking no DB's I totally forgot about the lack of undersized LB's. We were good for at least two of them in the previous 3 or 4 drafts.
  12. I kept thinking as the draft went on and DB after DB came off the board and the analysts made the comments about teams already stacked up at DB and taking more "Welcome to the last four years of Buffalo Bills football"
  13. Right because everyone in this draft outside of Bradford is so obviously so much better than the guys that we have right?
  14. Usually undrafted prospects get contacted immediately and have their deals worked out by Mon./Tues. Since it is Saturday with Sunday as an off day this year will they do business on a Sunday or do you see the signings start tonight? Or perhaps they start on Monday as usual. Either way there are always a couple interesting names tossed around out there.
  15. He already tried that but he turned himself down.
  16. Goodell grew up a Ravens fan??? he must be younger than he looks!
  17. Actually I heard Tiger is almost in Golf shape right now so I would expect him back soon...Eric Wood is also doing well in his rehab and may be ready to go by the pre-season
  18. A move like this would certainly make the Incognito non-tender make a lot more sense.
  19. What payroll has been reduced? They cut a bunch of guys that were on their rookie salaries and announced that three overpaid vets won't be coming back. The only unrestricted guy worth anything is Scott.
  20. I can't believe Reed and Denney spent what, 8 and 9 years respectively here and you can barely remember anything that these guys did. Sure these guys were solid players but they were never really good or bad. They never developed into anything more than what they came into the league as. That has been our problem for the past decade and maybe this is a good sign that we are turning the page.
  21. The only thing that will help the market will be overpriced veterans being cut from their bloated contracts, and a rebuilding team really shouldn't have any interest in those kinds of guys anyway, unless we can find, say a NT like Rogers out there.
  22. Even if this is all true (no reason to believe it isn't) are you telling me that Moran had access to Schefter and didn't even get any other info on the coaching search from him other than this? No wonder this guy can't make the big leagues.
  23. Shhhhh....it was the rookie that I was trying to fool.
