    I actually just looked that up myself but I wonder how we would have won the tie-breaker...they were 7-5 in the conference and we would have been 6-6 had we beat the Steelers.

    Didn't the Jets win the game thus making our outcome obsolete. A big choke nevertheless but I'm 99.9% sure the Jets ended up winning anyway.

    Because we play Detroit and they don't? We can still win 1 and get the #1 pick anyway even if Carolina looses out, they play in the tough NFC South...could be a moot point.

    Well, if he was inactive he probably wouldn't be a safe fantasy start. He's not on the inactive list, that's likely a typo.

    Doesn't hurt that we have a QB not afraid to throw into coverage and possesion receivers who can actually catch the ball in clutch situations, thus making 3rd downs actually convert-able. Also the fly to Spiller last week in OT, would have been the game if the pass was on target.

    I don't think we have to worry about NE...Oakland is 5-4, which means we need another 5 wins just to catch them! On a side note, getting a first round pick for Seymour was still a steal but for once something didn't break for the Pats, they were talking about having a top 5 pick but now in that weak division it could be in the 20's.

    Eh, McKelvin is easily our best corner and it's not even close. Maybe you can make an argument that Corner has been a bit more effective but take him out of the slot and I'm guessing he's not as effective. Florence has been garbage this year and McGee is broken down.

    Exactly. At the very least the whole thing will be up in the air if Harbaugh leaves Stanford and we won't know about that for a few months now.

    We've lost by three the last three games to three teams who might be playing in the playoffs. Stafford went out with an injury today, if we misses the game next week I love our chances.

    I think we'd all be for that. The question is would Wade (and maybe even Ralph) be able to put the last divorce behind him?

    Actually the comp pick system that's currently in place is one of the things being revamped in the new CBA since the current system is basically garbage so I guess we will see when a new CBA is decided.

    We are going to be hearing this for the rest of the season if we keep seeing the pitiful performances by these teams that are so much more talented than us who are clearly not giving a crap (Dallas, Minnesota, etc.) People are going to appreciate the effort. It is what it is I suppose.
