  1. Uh...I guess it would be a nice thing to be able to say. But I'm not too concerned if the Bills' owner is white, black, or a transgender left-handed lactose intolerant Samoan. Just win and keep the team in Western NY.
  2. the regression of the O-line defies explanation, with the exception of the Peters missing camp theory. the line is blown up on every play, trent is hit on every play, and our RBs get hit behind the line of scrimmage on every play. Until the line improves, expect more of the same.
  3. I was just at a bar watching the Bills-Pats game and there was a table of M!@#$s next to me (btw, how come so many guys from New England look like the Family Guy, i.e, fat, bald, loud, and wearing glasses?). They were loudly cheering every play, and then asking each other who the players were. "Hey. Whoo's numbah twenty-one on ow-ah team?" One of them asked me "Who's the quahtahbak faw the bills? It's nawt Losmaan?" With all the "die-hard" Pats fans exhibiting that level of bandwagonry and general football knowledge, it's far less embarassing to lose 10 straight. For your sake, I hope this year's early exit helps thin your ranks a bit.
  4. 1. O and D lines are indeed atrocious. 4. Kelly Preston and Marilyn Chambers are atrocious 5. It's sad when 3rd and 1's are more likely to be passing plays. 6. Chicken vs. Egg. For the play action to work, we'd need a running game to cause the D to bite on it. 10. McFadden's is even crazier when the Bills win a big game...
  5. ...about the extent of animation and sideline presence one would expect from a walking corpse in a headset. Another episode of "Weekend at Jauronie's" comes to a sad finish.
  6. McFadden's....in Foggy Bottom. Walking distance or short cab ride from Dupont. Official Bills Backers bar in DC.
  7. I think not calling guys out shows strong leadership qualities and is why this team respects the 2nd year guy at the helm. The guy puts it on himself when they lose and praises the efforts of his teammates when they win. Championship teams consist of guys who lead by example and who can light fires under themselves. And while I hope the coaching staff is reading the riot act to guys who aren't doing their job, I hope they are spending as much time improving some of their preparations and showing better in-game decisions. Last 2 weeks was subpar.
  8. the saved by zero ads are killing me...again....arrrggghhhhh
  9. I thought marshawn and jackson fought like hell today. They were absorbing and shaking off multiple hits behind the line of scrimmage all day...there was just no daylight out there. Not saying Marshawn is the fastest back in the league, but he had zippy to work with today, except the short pass he was able to break for a long gain on the opening drive.
  10. The inability to move the ball on the ground at all is the biggest reason. I've never seen 2 RBs work so hard to shed tacklers behind the line of scrimmage and get a total of 30 yds on the ground. As a result, Trent had to be a flag football quarterback today.
  11. What open areas? Lynch and Jackson were getting hit on every carry behind the line of scrimmage.
  12. Didn't Ronnie Harmon make disparaging remarks about Andre Reed because he was light skinned, or something to that effect?
  13. Tight End is a big problem, no doubt about it. I'm a big Schoumann fan, but also a big Boise State fan, so the bias there is obvious. Schoumann is listed at like 6'2 225? Good hands, but perhaps he's just too small. Random sampling from around the league..... Chris Cooley 6'3 249 Kellen Winslow 6'4 250 Owen Daniels 6'3 247 Kevin Boss 6'6 253 LJ Smith 6'3 258
  14. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!?! 5-2. Yes, we didn't beat the Titans, Cowboys, New England or whoever to amass 5 wins, but the team is light years ahead of what anyone had to be thinking back in camp and has a nice foundation. If a young team exceeding expectations and showing promise makes you lose interest, then hasta la vista baby. There's quite a paradox in saying you're a "take them or leave them type of fan" (ya know...fan is short for fanatic and I haven't seen too many passive fanatics before). Go buy a Harlem Globetrotters jersey and cheer for them as they beat the Washington Generals for the ten thousandth time...that should provide a fix for your winning jones. But giving up on this team right now? Unfathomable....
  15. ok....here comes a 97 yard drive we will be talking about for years to come....
  16. sometimes, you just have a bad game. .....but even still, a Defensive hold or even a FG and we still have time to come back.
  17. Eric Moulds 1st two seasons combined...2 TDs and less than 600 yds total...
