    Again, I don't think it's happening, but Shady's off the cap after this season, and we were never going to spend every little bit of cap space, so it's do-able from that standpoint.

    He'd be a HUGE addition to our offense, but I'm not getting my hopes up, it's pretty doubtful that he's coming. I think the Bills may have made a call to check in, doing due diligence, and are now being used to help create a big market for Bell.

    You do realize he's dating the owners daughter, right? That would be a tough cut for McBeane, regardless of who they bring in to compete at the position.

    On Total Access they said it was $10M, up to $13M with incentives. prior to that I’d just heard $13M.

    Thats the FA premium. He was getting paid this offseason by someone.

    They're reported to be in on everyone...hoping that limits what they can offer, leaving Paradis to the Bills.

    Just because they haven't made a splash 2 hr into the negotiation period doesn't mean they haven't been working the phones and talking with the guys we all want. Let's face it, the Bills are not a destination organization. We may have to over pay, and we may have to wait on a few guys. Deep breaths.

    I don't mind the player, but at that type of money I'd much rather see a huge investment in the OL. If we feel we need a pass rusher we can use pick #9 on it, there should be several good options available.

    That seems to suggest the Bills are talking about Trey, not talking with Trey, no?

    It would seem the Texans and Jets would be our biggest competition in the OL market for teams with significant space. At least for teams that might be looking at more than 1 of the better OL.

    Looks like he got paid after all...10M per season makes much more sense.
