  1. A woman who's just endured a long and painful childbirth.
  2. Sawyer's mother, Maggie Johnson, picked her name. Her father objected but lost the argument. To this day, a lot of family members and best buds call her Pepsi. I was watching Price is Right a long time ago and they called a woman named Aquanetta. I've also met a woman named Mai Ho.
  3. Tim what is your opinion on the chances of an uncapped 2010 season or a possible 2010 lockout. The union has threatened to decertify and I would think if the NFL declared bankruptcy it would nullify all pre-existing union contracts. How ugly do you see this getting?
  4. The guy can't backpedal on something he dismissed so flippantly on the radio just a couple of days ago. You're right about the first year thing and that should have been mentioned in his article but the stuff he says in the article is probably the five things he rattled off in the interview. He has to write something about this because this a HUGE signing for the Bills but he's caught between a rock and a hard place.
  5. I don't understand why they thought he'd go for a one year contract. T.O. for one year makes sense but this guy is only 32 and probably has at least two years left. JMO Keiaho is just another small LB and the Bills have too many of those now. Wax on Whacks off.
  6. This happened in Arkansas.
  7. justnzane is really lame at this stuff. Oops it's supposed to be a rumor. justnzane works hard at this stuff.
  8. Let it go. Leave the Mort stuff for the rest of the board. He's not gonna throw a co-worker under the bus and he shouldn't. Move on to another topic and don't broach this one again. JMO
  9. Thanks, that's a good explanation but I'd have to think that the NFL has some tricks up it's sleeve. I doubt they'd do it but if they declared bankruptcy that would null and void all union contracts, IIRC.
  10. What do you mean? They'll play the 2010 season uncapped and then lockout the 2011 season? Why would they do that?
  11. justnzane puts the suck in success.
  12. They're dumb. Why would they trade Stroud?
  13. The CBA will be remade by then or there will be an owners lockout. I'm extremely sure that an uncapped year will never happen because it's bad for the league and the union knows it. The success of the NFL is due to it's parity. In the long run it would be worse for the players. So no intelligent agent is setting his client up for a huge payday in 2010 because new contracts may not happen until the middle of the 2010 season if it takes that long to settle the CBA. IMO, the new CBA will include a rookie salary slotting for the draft. No matter what the union says publicly now they are all for it. The anti-rookie cap posturing is just so they have another bargaining chip. The %age of players revenue may drop a little in exchange for guaranteed contracts. The union will also try to get more leniency from the commissioner on suspensions. The reason I feel the slotting system for draft picks will occur is that it helps everyone out. The union consists of veterans. The guys coming in have no say in the CBA. More money to be handed out to veterans is going to be a very popular idea. It will also make trading for the #1 pick a viable option because the #1 picks contract will already be slotted. Teams are loathe to trade into the top ten now due to cost of the contracts. This will help alleviate that concern IMO. Anything that draws more interest from the fan base is good for the union and trades definitely draw interest. The guaranteed contracts will take the BS out of the contracts and let the players know exactly how much of the contract they will get. No more backloading that makes the contract appear a lot bigger than it actually is. If anyone else has any thoughts on the CBA let us know.
  14. Bucs' Hayes stabbed by girlfriend TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities say the girlfriend of Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Geno Hayes stabbed him in the head and in the neck. A Hillsborough County Sheriff's spokeswoman says Hayes was taken to a hospital by a friend Saturday. The 21-year-old former Florida State player was treated and later released. Deputies arrested 19-year-old Shevelle Bagley on Saturday afternoon. The sheriff's spokeswoman says Hayes and Bagley got into an argument, which led to Bagley grabbing a pair of scissors and stabbing Hayes in the head. He managed to get the scissors away from her, but authorities say she then grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the neck. Bagley was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Jail records show she was released Sunday on $25,000 bail. That's one angry Biotch!!
  15. Syracuse is ranked #18 woohoo!
  16. I'm sick of the Bills having choir boys. Character doesn't matter, a little attitude would take this team a long way. [/sarcasm]
  17. If he can't handle it then what? I'd love to see the kid workout and get the job but they have to have a solid backup plan.
