You have got to be kidding me! An assistant principal, enforcing the school’s antidrug policies, suspected her of having brought prescription-strength ibuprofen pills to school. One of the pills is as strong as two Advils. Not Marijuana, Crack, Coke, Heroin or Mood Elevators but Advil. She was strip searched for Advil.

All Throwbacks in opening game vs Pats
Steely Dan replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It'll be nice to see the Patriot* taking a dump again. -
If they sign him for anything but a backup I'll agree with you.

The picture showed the brake in detail with names on the important parts like the caliper. The ins and outs of the caliper needs to be studied by himself because he'll learn more.

Preston is a scary option for Buffalo if they plan to use him at left tackle.

I wish Bills Digest had an offseason subscription. It would include all of the BD's from the final game of the season up to the first game of the season. I don't need info during the year because newspapers cover that pretty well but for the offseason it would be very cool. I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts that it would increase circulation immensely.

He often said that his first marriage was such a hellacious experience for him he didn't want to get married again. I have no problem believing that his girlfriend and kid were well provided for. I saw a Letterman show where Roberts said she had been interested in dating Letterman but she heard there was no way he'd be interested. From the article; But the afternoon ceremony at the Teton County Courthouse in Choteau (pop. 1,700) was delayed by an hour because the family's pickup truck was stuck in mud two miles from their house. Letterman was forced to walk back in a howling gale to get the car. "So then we get in the car and Harry says, 'Are we still going into town?' and I said, 'Yes, we are,' and he gets very upset because Mom had told him if I wasn't back in an hour, the deal was off." I didn't realize they had been dating for 23 years.

The problem with a title fight is that the state of boxing is at an all time low, IMO. I don't see anyone out there that could hang with any of the guys from the 70's. Mike Tyson was a paper tiger. He had to pay off Lennox Lewis in order to avoid a fight with him. While both were knocked out by tomato cans Lewis is still the best boxer of the last 20 years. What's left now couldn't have beaten the third, fourth or fifth ranked boxer of the seventies. For crying out loud Foreman won the title at age 45!! And right now I think Klitchko is the title holder, I haven't followed the sport much lately due to it's pathetic state. I think Foreman might be able to beat Klitchko today. I've never seen a guy get so bloody in a fight, ever. The guy doesn't have a glass jaw he has a glass face. Ahhhh, for the quality of boxing to return to the level of the 70's, if only. In "When We Were Kings" (The best boxing documentary of all time.) they said that Ali wouldn't watch Foreman when he was hitting the heavy bag. What he did to the heavy bag was frightening, even to Ali. There is nobody even close to Foreman or Ali in their primes today. What do you think is the cause of the pathetic state of boxing these days?

Question: Does re-signing a player who's already under contract count as FA signing?. i.e. Lee Evans. -

I'm ascared to watch the next game. It seems that whenever I watch a full game they lose. I did wake up in time to see the end of the six OT game and they won that so maybe the curse is broken. -
Will The New Name Of The Space Station Really Be...

Oops: Colbert wins NASA space station name contest WASHINGTON – NASA's online contest to name a new room at the international space station went awry. Comedian Stephen Colbert won. The name "Colbert" beat out NASA's four suggested options in the space agency's effort to have the public help name the addition. The new room will be launched later this year. NASA's mistake was allowing write-ins. Colbert urged viewers of his Comedy Central show, "The Colbert Report" to write in his name. And they complied, with 230,539 votes. That clobbered Serenity, one of the NASA choices, by more than 40,000 votes. Nearly 1.2 million votes were cast by the time the contest ended Friday. NASA reserves the right to choose an appropriate name. Agency spokesman John Yembrick said NASA will decide in April, but will give top vote-getters "the most consideration."

FWIW, Hardy got paid for giving-up #81
Steely Dan replied to VOR's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
gordon_g is a guy who posts here occasionally with very accurate information on what the Bills are doing as far as bringing in new FA's and such. Somebody, who called his connection to the team possible bunk, asked him what kind of car he drove as if to go by the stadium and see if there was a car like that parked there. I guess he thought it would be a way to verify his connection to the team. That's where the joke comes from. -
Thanks, I just ordered mine.

Whatever happened to Pyrite Gal?
Steely Dan replied to In space no one can hear's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I honestly thought Pyrite Gal was a teenage girl posting from her basement so I always tried to be nice to her. I thought she may have taken criticism too harshly and left and I felt bad for her. (1, 2, 3..... waiting for the inappropriate teenage girl jokes. ) Steely is God!!! -
Stallworth was slightly over the legal limit

His $4.5 million bonus is going to his lawyer and the rest if not more is going to the family in a civil judgment. JMO Dudes got a problem IMO. If he gets three I'll be surprised. What he said. I'm sure you're just stirring the pot but I'll bite. Many people have DUI but never got caught and never caused an accident. If you plan to kill someone and shoot at them and miss you'll get a lighter sentence than if you shoot at them and kill them. I don't understand the difference really but that's the way it works. He grew up in poverty? Well then he should just get a slap on the hand, after all there are no high character people who grew up in poverty? That's exactly true. There are a lot of things people believe or feel should happen to someone and then it happens to a family member and the tune changes dramatically. -
