  1. If Griffin gets the same officials for the rest of the tournament they'll be National Champs.
  2. With a bag of quarters. That should be in the running for post of the month. It will have tough competition from the octo-mom comment in the Henry thread though.
  3. The one bright spot in an otherwise depressing game.
  4. Hey you could bring your lunch pail and do the Krumrie test with the other guests. It might not be bad at all.
  5. That would be awesome to see him get like 500 yards in his contract year!!
  6. Probably not too far off the mark.
  7. If Pioli makes any fair trades to an AFCE team I'd be shocked. He's not gonna help a team who plays against his lover BB. JMO So are you saying the Bills should start a system and then draft a guy to go to another system and then maybe draft another player and change again? Consistency is the most important thing. A team shouldn't just change schemes willy nilly for a draft pick. IMO, that's an idiotic way to run a railroad. What he said. It does in drafting, IMO. So many teams are drafting guys that fit the 3-4 that teams playing the 4-3 have more guys that fit their system to choose from. At the top of the draft some teams will ignore fit for the best player but definitely the later rounds are for fit and that's where 4-3 teams can make out. JMO.
  8. Lori, are stats kept for that kind of thing? Do I get put in the Guiness Book of TBD? BTW, STFU about Griffin.
  9. I hope not. They need all their picks this draft, IMO. This is a make or break draft for them right now. It wouldn't surprise me to see Sanchez do a Brady Quinn fall through the draft.
  10. What she said. What he said. I appreciate the input from someone who's been there. I was pulled over for a speeding ticket and the officer asked me for proof of insurance and I had to go to the glove compartment. He put his hand on his gun as I moved over to open the compartment. IMO, that is exactly what he should do. He doesn't know what I have in there. I guess you could put me into the "white and non-menacing looking stereotype" so I believe he did it to everyone. Some people would probably go off on him; "I'm not gonna shoot ya can't you tell I'm not a threat! Stupid cop!!" Then they'd probably get his badge number and call his supervisor. A lot of people are jackholes. I have little problem with the gun pull but add things up. 1. The car has it's flashers on. 2. It pulls into the parking lot of a hospital 3. He gets out yelling that his mother is dying inside. 4. The woman thinks the cop is a jackhole and runs off screaming her mother is dying. 5. Moats asks him to write a ticket and let him go. He was obviously in tough-cop power trip mode and, IMO, it wouldn't matter if Moat's wife was pregnant because the same BS would have gone on. A nurse comes out to tell the cop the mother is dying and he blows her off. IMO, this cop doesn't have a shut off switch. I'd be willing to bet he's a jackhole all the time with people. He strikes me as the kind of guy who becomes a cop for the power rush. JMO I'm all for backing up the cops when it's more than justifiable but there are a few times they are wrong and this is definitely one of them.
  11. I think you're ignoring the fact that contracts will keep rising but the money will go to vets. The players will still be able to push the envelope on contracts it will just be veteran contracts against veteran contracts. JMO
  12. I wondered if I missed something but when they replayed it it was a charge! The announcers just ignored it.
  13. GO ORANGE!! BITE ME JOKELAHOMA!!!
  14. I guess everybody's dad told them that one.
  15. If anyone wants to know the power of a contract year this says it all; Willis McGahee-RB- Ravens Mar. 27 - 5:12 pm et Willis McGahee is taking part in the Ravens' conditioning program and plans to report for all voluntary offseason workouts. This isn't like McGahee, but he admits this could easily be his last year as a Raven and he'll probably hit free agency next offseason. He needs to stay healthy to have a market value. McGahee will also be in a heated competition for carries again with incumbent starter Le'Ron McClain and Ray Rice. Source: baltimoreravens.com Even if Jeff George was picked up by a team he wouldn't pass the drug test because he's smoking a lot of crack! Jeff George-QB- Raiders Mar. 27 - 2:55 pm et Free agent Jeff George says if he was on the Vikings, he "guarantee(s) (he) would be wearing a ring right now." He just won't let it go. "It just amazes me that I’m not on somebody’s roster," the 41-year-old said. "You can’t tell me I’m not better than some of the QBs that are out there. I look at teams like Minnesota or Chicago, and I want to scream at the people in charge, ‘What are you thinking?'" George is throwing and staying in shape, but is highly unlikely to get a call this offseason. Source: Yahoo Sports Related: Vikings A little bit o'comedy to start the weekend.
  16. LG, LB and TE are glaring holes right now. Two of those can be taken care of through the draft with the first and second round picks but they are still an iffy fix. Part of the problem is that FA was very weak this year and there are guys floating around that will probably be available after the draft for a weak fix at the LG spot at least. If Schobel returns fully healed and if Ellis' problems were injury related last year then DE may not be as big of a need as some think.
  17. NyQuil, what are Calvin and Hobbes saying in your avatar? link
  18. Ok here are the scenarios as I see them; 1. Your friend is yanking your chain. 2. Thomas is yanking your friends chain. 3. Your friend misunderstood what Thomas said 4. You're yanking our chains 5. It's true they are trying to get Peppers here. IIRC, Thomas used to run into people. Maybe the Bills are trading Kelsay for Peppers straight up. The Bills have too many needs this year to justify losing a first and third this year. The first this year and a second next year. Maybe. I find it very difficult to believe that if the Pets* couldn't swing a trade that Buffalo will be able to.
  19. If the Bills take Ayers at #11 I'll shut off the TV and vomit for at least an hour.
  20. Phew! I almost agreed with BB but I went back and looked at the information on Cushing and his injury history is enough to make me say no. I like Matthews much better. However, last year Buffalo drafted Chris Ellis who has a history of injuries and I was waaaay against the pick for that reason. It looks like he had an injury again last year too. This guy can be the next coming of LT but if he's off the field who cares.
  21. Evidently I wasn't able to stop the hoard of horrible and obvious jokes to follow.
  22. The joke here is so obvious I'm not even going to write it out.
