Edwards is better than JP but so what- OL still can't run block in fact they have regressed, Peters is giving the Bills a big FU by playing at about 70%, is it going to cost him money you betcha but since when are these guys rational adults, I don't think the rest of them are holding back they're just not very good.

Trent is pretty good - he's not Elway - but give him some more weapons and he'll look better, fix the run blocking and he'll look better- of course so would have JP before we broke him

I agree, his hands are outstanding- last year in preseason he caught two tipped balls, when I saw that I knew his hands were excellent- he also is a tough runner, has good eyes, and a nice wiggle- but he is not M Turner who is 240+ and can run away from DBs

Just a quick point on Groves- I think he's going to end up getting sacks on many QBs- the kid was fantastic his junior year then changed position and had some turf toe and other injury issues and had a down senior year which is why he wasn't drafted until the 2nd round- not the biggest guy at 6,3 260 but ran around a 4.5 and has a tremedous first step.

What Peters learned is no player can bring any pressure to bear on this organization- also the fans can't bring any pressure to bear on this organization- the local media can't and probably state and local government can't either- the Bills are a take it or leave it product and if a bunch of people left it they'd just move to greener pastures.

Since I usually think Royal would be an ok second TE and Chambers is nothing but a placeholder for a real NFL OT- I got to give them both credit for playing a fantastic game- Chamber did a superb job on Kerney and Royal had an all round great game especially holding on to that TD. next week back to bashing them I'm sure.

If Chambers is getting killed they might move Walker back to RT and use Bell at LT.

For Bills football or football in general?

Playing on a bad knee could just as well lose him money- look he'd be worth more to the Bills than anyone else because he knows the system- but they didn't even hint at an extention let alone big money- how good is Crowell ? at his best above average- he had a very nice season in 2005- 2006 he was injured- 2007 he he made a lot of poor decisions which was probably because he was trying to make something happen or trying to cover for other people instead of worrying about his own job- his best bet is to heal up, sign a one year contract for minimum, show something and sign a three year for decent money- but he ain't getting rich no matter what he does.

No LBs out there worth the pick- the value was CB OL and RB

Going on IR doesn't hurt Crowell at all except maybe his feelings- LBs have to be great to make big money and Crowell isn't great- unless you have a whole mess of (combine for 10+) sacks, interceptions, forced fumbles, Tackles for losses, or knock outs- you ain't getting big money- so making 1.3 mil now is good because everybody wants money now because they are afraid that there will be no 2010 season

this is the problem- Evans says hey in the right offense I'm a 1450yd 11TD WR- the Bills say yeah but in our offense you're a 950YD 7TD WR- Evans says it's not my fault you don't use me right pay me what I'm worth!- the Bills say we will pay you what you're worth to our offense.

What comes around goes around- my guess is based on how the Bills treat players he thought if he got surgery in the off-season they'd clear him and cut him- he'd be sitting around hoping to get a one year minimum contract from some team- this way he gets paid for the year or an injury settlement.
