  1. Vernon Davis is 24 - a good run blocker and can stretch a defense- if SF wanted to trade him for reasonable amount I'd snatch him up.
  2. Susan Victoria Lucci (born December 23, 1946)
  3. I think Cushing might be the forth or fifth best LB- and I think we will end up at 10 not 12- my preference would be Curry or Maualuga .
  4. Now you are making sense- and for the people who say drop it - I say never!!
  5. As for the Bills willingness to cut their nose off to spite their face- see Crowell
  6. On the one hand my general thoughts is go after the best big man available- DE, DT, OT,- the problem is these guys need a couple years to develop and I'm really sick of waiting- so in the draft I'd be looking for a great LB, I'd love Aaron Curry but he's gonna be a top 5 pick unless something freaky happens.
  7. Probowl maybe not but he still the best lineman on the Bills by a big margin- as for what he did this year I would had more respect for him if he had held out the full year- but he went the Russian way ( they pretend to pay me and I pretend to work)
  8. I said this last preseason - we were not an 7-9 team - we were a team with a 13-3 special teams and 3-13 offense and defense.
  9. my point is not that the Bills are the lowest spending team but that they don't want to spend on stars but end up overpaying mediocre players - like Kelsey, Kyle Williams, Brad Butler, Dockery and the like- because they don't spend on top of the line players they overpay these bums- when you have a Bruce Smith the next guy says when can I get paid like Bruce and you say Bruce is one in a million and you're a dime a dozen only with a little more tact - when Schobel is your best guy Kelsey can say there's not that much difference so pay me just a little less and Williams says hey I'm just as good as Kelsey pay me too. Butler is almost as good as Dockery why shouldn't he get paid almost as much. Pay for stars so you can pay bums less.
  10. Free agency: Julius Peppers DE, Jason Brown C, Chris Kemoeatu G, Collin Coles DT Draft 1st- Aaron Curry OLB, Rey Maualuga ILB, James Laurinaitis ILB in that order - LBs can come right out of college and play well. 2nd Tyrone Jackson LDE could be a run stuffer on the left side. Trade for Vernon Davis TE he's been immature and not too productive but he has physical talent - he might have worn out his welcome in SF and be gotten cheap.
  11. Rookie WRs usually don't make a big impact - and Hardy was in everything I read, considered a less finished product than many of the other WRs coming out - the general consensus was huge upside but needs work to get stronger physically, much more mature mentally, and needs work on his all his techniques - look a Vince Jackson he's finally coming on in his forth year.
  12. exactly- by big picture, I mean instead of always finding one or two guys to blame lets look at what seems to be the overriding philosophy of the Bills- draft boyscouts - get them coached by English professors- treat free agency like your uncle searching the penny savers looking for a bargain, if a player does become a star say he's too expensive to keep.
  13. 1. What's not to understand - the Lines do not dominate the Bills O-line didn't get dominated but they didn't dominate- and the d-line stunk- and over the season both lines lost more battles than they won. 2. I'm saying because they refuse to pay the going rate for stars they end up overpaying mediocre players- Hutchinson was an all-pro, Dockery was the second or third best Guard out there, maybe to get Hutchinson to come to Buffalo you'd have to pay him a few million more but I bet he'd be a hell of a lot more productive.
  14. 1. The Bills don't beat people up on the lines they get beat up- when you win on the lines you feel like you are the better team even if you lose the game- when you lose at the line of scrimmage you feel like you got lucky if you win and you have trepidation about playing that team again. 2. the Bills Front office would rather overpay 5 mediocre players a million each rather than pay an extra 5million to a star player. How much difference is there in Dockery's contract compared to Hutchinson's.
  15. I emotionally detached myself from the Bills when I thought they didn't do anywhere enough during the off-season to correct serious problems - they certainly had the cap room to do more- they didn't correct their lack of run blocking, their lack of play-makers on defense, or their lack of targets in the passing game- did they really think that Hardy was going to be an upgrade over Reed in his first year- the only thing they did right in the off-season was trade for Stroud and it wasn't nearly enough- I blame Ralph, he has said many times he just wants the team to be competitive- no fire to try to dominate- if you aim high and fail you can still be pretty good- when you aim at pretty good and fail you stink.
  16. How can you fire a guy who has his own Phrase- "I wish the Bills would quit Dicking around and play some football"
  17. Great play by Dick - he know we have to draft our way out of this mess so he's gonna fall on the grenade and try to lose out- with some luck the Bills could go from 12th to 8th.
  18. If Ralph in a senior moment made me the GM of the team I'd try to get Jason Brown 6,4 320 starting center from Baltimore and Chris Kemoeatu 6,3 340 G from Pittsburgh- two very tough somsofBitc#s who really play smash mouth football they are going to be free agents 2009 but I'd be surprised if their teams don't make every effort to lock them up before then. As for Mack I have total respect for him but in the first round I'd be looking for a big play LB and I'm pretty sure that Mack doesn't make it to the second round.
  19. the Bills need immediate help and the best chance for that to happen is at LB and RB and Lynch is already pretty good so I say the first round pick is a LB, 2nd-4th rounds look at C, G, and DT,- if you want immediate help at DE, TE, or WR you are going to go to Free agency or trades.
  20. I expect wins so they can worsen their ability to draft talent.
  21. Walker is our second best Olinemen and the best run blocker since Peters has decided to only do half the job because he gets half the pay- did you really expect Walker to throw Dick under the bus that would be the kiss of death to his NFL career.
  22. 1. Stroud is the only above average player on the DL - as for Schobel undersized, over thirty, and no reputation for off-season conditioning is a bad combination. 2. we lack ball hawks in our safeties and our LBs 3. Fred Jackson seems to be the only one who can catch those types of passes and he didn't play 4. Rookie WRs are almost never good so anyone who was depending on Hardy was dreaming- Steve Johnson has some decent attributes but nothing that makes you say wow if he's going to be anything more than a pretty good 3rd WR he's going to do it with hands, route running toughness, and intangibles . 5. He's not a statue but he doesn't know where to run and he is inaccurate so who holds the ball looking for a receiver with a lot of separation. 6. Don't know - I hope he wasn't injured but if could play then the coaches are stupid. 7. Peters is the Best Olinemen on the Bills followed by Walker- but he hasn't been anywhere near the best OT this year 8. the bills are pretty suck a$$ in cold weather the days of owning the snow and wind are over
  23. Can I have a write in volt for top GM
  24. God save me from Systems coaches - aren't there any coaches out there who can look at the talent on hand and design a system around it- not that we have that much talent to work around . I also want to here from anyone who ever told me Ngata wouldn't work here because we are running a Tampa 2 and we need little DTs
