  1. Yeah, he had a knee injury which is probably the result of his plantar fasciitis. http://www.aofas.org/footcaremd/conditions/ailments-of-the-heel/Pages/Plantar-Fasciitis.aspx
  2. That's because people judge situations by the evidence at hand. Kobe's accuser had another dude's semen in her panties, and refused to testify at trial. The criminal charges were dropped, his accuser sued, and they ended up settling.
  3. The NFLs new drug policy is really good news for Henderson. It takes 4 positive tests to be suspended now.
  4. I'd like to see violent crime arrest rates for men aged 22-35. It would be interesting to see if NFL players are more or less prone to being charged with violent crimes.
  5. The funniest part about all of this is every single fan on this board watched the game on Sunday. All this moral outrage translates to people tuning in anyway, and sponsors know that.
  6. His GF admitted to being coked out and Hardy himself made the 911 call. This isn't a cut and dry case.
  7. I think the absence of a police report or any criminal charges says all you need to know. Criminal court doesn't give you a big payday, and accusations have to be proven beyond a 50.1% probability.
  8. Cedric Benson got 3 games for assault in 2010, and Benson was a multiple time offender. He punched some bar employee the year before that and only got a warning from Goodell. He only received a suspension for the 3 games after he was convicted of beating up an ex-roommate. I would say Ray Rice's suspension is right where it should be based on precedent. Which is most likely why the NFL instituted their new rules.
  9. What's the standard NFL punishment for someone convicted of assault?
  10. Can you really blame Murph for being excited? The Bills are a very, very talented team. The only real question is EJ, and we need him to be simply average to win games.
  11. Welker !@#$ed up by taking it at the Derby. He has to provide the NFL with a schedule where he will be sleeping every single night of the week. They tend to test players during and right after their vacations.
  12. People are calling a 2nd round pick a bust after one training camp?
  13. We also don't like the government limiting free speech, but the owners of this board are allowed to do whatever they want. No one bats an eye if a racist loses their job because of it, but we do care when they are thrown in prison. Just google "The Fappening" a reddit link should be near the top.
  14. You sure you've been banned? The general Bills board was taken down, and now everything goes through the "Rumors and Speculation" forum.
  15. ESPN was running a blurb on the bottom line saying Bon Jovi is still in the Toronto group, per a Schefter report. I can't find any reference to it on the internet, so someone at ESPN might have !@#$ed up. It was definitely there though, I went back and checked it on the DVR.
  16. Carrington was the starter until he got injured, so no he wasn't a depth/rotational player.
  17. Can you please actually use a relevant argument? Listing off Marv Levy players to criticize our current GM isn't logical. Also, Buddy Nix turned Kelvin Sheppard into Jerry Hughes. Your analysis is meaningless since you just listed off busts without even recognizing the hits. I'm sure if you took the Bills last five drafts they would be above average in bust/not-bust ratio. Only Bills fans expect their team to hit on every draft pick, even when the best evaluators get it right less than 50% of the time.
  18. To be fair, Thad Lewis warranted at least a full training camp to show he could keep progressing. If he had simply picked up from where he left off he would still be on the team.
  19. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/08/25/medical-marijuana-prescription-drugs-study/14572193/ 25% fewer painkiller overdose deaths in states that have legalized medical marijuana.
  20. Buddy Nix was still the GM of the Buffalo Bills when we traded for Jerry Hughes.
  21. Yes, I'm sure a cardboard cutout could broker the Toronto deal that earned the team $9 million a year. Also, it's Doug Whaley's job to make the Bills better, not Russ Brandon's. The fact that you want someone interfering with the GM is a little disconcerting, as the best organizations have the GM making the football decisions.
  22. Brandon's job is to make the Bills money, and he has done a spectacular job doing so. He's also done a very good job regionalizing the team judging by the team's 12th overall TV ratings, despite the lack of prime-time games.
  23. Ralph Wilson didn't need convincing, it was the other 31 owners that needed to be convinced. Also, Brandon has done a terrific job bringing in revenue to the Bills organization. http://audio.wgr550.com/a/95549486/8-13-erie-county-executive-mark-poloncarz.htm?'>http://audio.wgr550.com/a/95549486/8-13-erie-county-executive-mark-poloncarz.htm?
