  1. He's very entertaining and I like his sincerity, but I will never, ever vote for a socialist.
  2. So I guess that means that as a consumer, I'm regulated by the federal government because I spend money that was printed by the government on whatever Fed Ex delivers to me?
  3. AKA Reggie http://the-strain.wikia.com/wiki/Reggie_Fitzwilliam I don't have a beef with the new actor, or even his lines/role this season. The kid is just turning into a noisy nuisance (which I suppose is understandable considering that his mother has been transformed into a vampire and his father is trying to kill her, while society and life as they knew it was been turned completely on its head). What irks me is having to listen to his brattish little tantrums. It makes me want to see him turned into a vampire just so he'd shut up already.
  4. Talk about solidly landing in the clueless column - he hasn't dismissed the connection between between drug abuse and theft, he just doesn't automatically presume that all drug users are thieves, which you are apparently doing. And you have never heard of non-violent criminals? The thing that makes me laugh is that you are automatically associating theft with all drug use, and violence with all crime, and then telling Tasker that he needs to 'scratch below the surface', as if you're the one who's actually doing any kind of nuanced thinking. What you're doing is painting with a very broad brush, and if the justice system worked the way your logic does, then kids getting busted for a bag of weed would automatically be charged with larceny as well. You face disagreement with your thought process, so what do you do? You apply the exact same 'logic', lumping everyone else as being 'misguided', '15 years old', or 'unemployed', only because your shallow intellect and limited thought process is unable to compute any of this. Which, once again, is exactly what you're accusing Tasker of doing.
  5. It's heart-wrenching watching that poor couple slowly transforming in the lab. The part where the man had Nora wheel him over to be next to his wife was especially sad. I love the flashbacks with Setrakian. I'm really starting to hate Palmer. I'm wondering if we're ever going to see his old assistant, Fitzwilliams resurface, possibly as a protagonist? And I'm getting pretty sick of Zach. I'm absolutely loving this show. The depiction of vampires as Strigoi is very close to the vampires from original eastern European lore - the legends and myths that far predate stories like Dracula.
  6. One of the best comic strips ever. I'm really going to enjoy this.
  7. Oh, come on. Next you'll try to say that Federal Express isn't a government agency.
  8. What the hell are you talking about? You can't possibly be reading half of what you're replying to. Go back and read what I posted, and when you do, READ IT THIS TIME.
  9. You mean like the WWE?
  10. This administration - and the left in general - sure have done a lot for race relations, haven't they? At least they've gotten rid of all those damned flags.
  11. If he actually read anything that you, I, or anyone else has linked for him, he'd get it. He obviously doesn't, so either he didn't read a damned thing, he's simply trolling, or he's truly the most stupid individual ever to draw a breath. You may as well try to teach a squid to grill fajitas.
  12. Hey, take it easy. It's not like he called you 'poop head' or anything.
  13. And waiting and waiting.... You see to him, those who believe it restraining the scope and strength of the federal government are simply anarchists who want to destroy the economy, since the government prints money and gives us free access to health care.
  14. Here's a pretty good article on the subject. It's just my opinion, but I don't take the NSA at their word, and I'm very skeptical of their claims, especially since none of their claims appear to have been substantiated. http://www.propublica.org/article/claim-on-attacks-thwarted-by-nsa-spreads-despite-lack-of-evidence
  15. Actually, many have been protesting further development of wind farms because birds tend to fly into the blades and get killed, especially certain varieties of migratory birds. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/01/29/bird-deaths-wind-turbines/21358155/
  16. Way to miss the point, doctor.
  17. Did you even read the material I linked? The Federal Reserve is a quasi-governmental entity comprised of both federally appointed members and private bankers. It is not funded by Congress, so it's not a 'proper' governmental agency. You appear to see only what you want to see when reading anything people link in order to make a point. All insults aside, there was a time - several decades ago - when I was just like you: liberal and purposefully ignorant. If that's the way you want to be, then fine, but you'll never learn anything that way.
  18. By all means, please elaborate.
  19. Take it straight from the source: https://www.federalreserveeducation.org/about-the-fed/structure-and-functions Are they idiots as well?
  20. Are you paid to troll them?
  21. In the subtitle they equate deniers with skeptics. Why do people have such a difficult time making that distinction?
  22. By all means, please elaborate.
  23. Governments don't have rights. Citizens do.
