  1. In that case... DrDankenstein is the worst comic EVER.
  2. Also known as "Fallout 3 - the Movie!" (or at least that's how it LOOKS.... Even the font is similar!)
  3. And that proves what, exactly? I vote the Beatles as the worst band ever. Why? Because there's a website that backs me up. http://www.areddy.net/beatles_suck/ The Monkees were "pay-for-play radio garbage" as well - and they even had a TV show from it! Do they suck too? Are they better than Nickelback?
  4. It's hyperbole. Or you've only heard 3 bands in your life. Are they great? No. Are they good? Debatable (I'd say great businessmen, average-or-below musicians). Are they the worst ever? No.
  5. We'll still get to hear him whine about how this new company has this hot chick working for them, but he doesn't know how to ask her out.
  6. Congrats, Pooj!!! Good luck selling your house now....
  7. Colossal? Our only winning season in the last 10 years, and our 2nd best record (8-8) in the last 10 years... I wouldn't say colossal.
  8. You should report it to the DOT and see if they can fix it - even marking it more clearly will help you and others.
  9. Gale Gilbert - only player in NFL history to go to 5 consecutive Superbowls.
  10. You're STILL waiting for a good deal on an HDTV....? The deals have been around forever. I bought a 42" plasma for $700 in 2008! Also - you'll probably want something bigger than 32", especially if you already have a 32" CRT TV. A 42" widescreen television is the same height as a 32" tube TV; the 42" is just a little wider. There's a common misconception that, "I have a 32" TV now, so I'll just buy a 32" HDTV and it'll be pretty much the same." If you buy a 32" HDTV, it'll look TINY compared to a 32" CRT.
  11. Kids are a necessity....? For what...?
  12. DirecTV will probably be the first to broadcast as well: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...t&p=1683234
  13. And you remember Byrd missing a lot of tackles....? You don't want your FS involved heavily in the running game because if he bites on play action, you get burned deep.
  14. Those guys were both Strong Safeties (although Lott played all of the DB positions, I think he was primarily strong...). Byrd is a free safety.
  15. You mean like EA buying exclusive rights to the NFL so that nobody else can make an NFL video game?
  16. You don't need to threaten anything. Just call, ask for customer retention, and be polite. I posted that deal last season -- and all you had to do was ask what they could do for you and they offered it up. They also gave me $5 off/month for 12 months this past May because I have been a customer for 10 years. Just out of the blue they sent me a card in the mail. My cable company has never done that for my broadband...
  17. Stop exaggerating - there's no TV timeout between a TD and a PAT.
  18. Yeah, their headline makes no sense. That said, this reminded me of the scene from Falling Down. "Sorry sir, we stopped serving breakfast at 11:30."
  19. My house isn't big enough for everybody.... But you're invited!
  20. Probably not -- you generally have to buy tickets off of season ticket holders to get in the stadium. I'd think that the chances of getting 30-40 in a group are slim to none.
  21. I'm hopefully going to Minnesota (down the street....) and Green Bay. My father-in-law bought a couple of tickets for us last time the Bills were in GB, and it was a blast. I even sat next to another Bills fan! What are the odds?! Of course we lost 10-3 I believe... Favre said it was the coldest game he'd ever played in... The fans were awesome though. Beware - all of the seats in Lambeau are aluminum bench-style. If it's in December, your butt will be cold!
  22. It was -20F when I woke up this morning. I think it warmed up to -5F....
  23. I just looked at the spread -- Buffalo is favored by 8! I realize Indy is benching their starters, but still.... The over/under is 33... Probably a sucker's bet, but I put $20 on a parlay - Indy to win straight up and the over. Total potential win - $156.
  24. Well, feel bad for the organization then. http://www.wgrz.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=73181 "They (Time Warner) plan to distribute the tickets purchased to local charities like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County, Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo, and many others."
