  1. This is a good take. What surprises me is how many people don't think a player like Tyrod can improve with things like this. By committing to a player with so much natural ability like TT, allowing him to continue gaining game experience, maybe next year during week 8 he sees that WR and makes the TD throw instead of just settling for the 8 yard run. He really hasn't played that much. As lame as the Dolphins have been, they deserve credit for sticking with Tannehill. Tyrod has shown improvement--people just aren't satisfied that it wasn't a massive leap forward into superstar QB status. That's usually not how people improve at anything, let alone the hardest position in all of sports. I truly believe TT is the next Brees. I don't think he'll ever be a prolific passer like Drew, but depending on our system and approach going forward here, he won't have to be. And I don't care what the well known group of QB 'experts' think. I know what I've seen from TT, esp compared to every other QB we've had under center since Kelly, and TT deserves more time to develop.
  2. This is simply not true. More importantly, it's time this stupid f****** franchise develops its own long term solution at QB instead of always having grass is greener syndrome. They unfortunately seem to listen to fans like you who don't know what they're talking about.
  3. People are so impatient these days. Development takes time, especially at the hardest position in all of sports. TT is our guy. Build around him.
  4. Reload/continue to build what we've been doing. Build around Tyrod and get the defense on the same page. Accountability. No more accepting bullsh*t.
  5. He's never been in a pass happy offense so there's no proof of this.
  6. McDermott's best chance at a great first season will be w TT behind center. I'm not even sure Romo would be an upgrade. Only Bree's would be imo If McD stabilizes the D then I agree!
  7. the same that many posters here see when using qbs w almost no body of work that have a couple great games as viable examples of franchise qbs. People too impatient to develop a qb properly
  8. Ok that makes sense. Haven't watched him too much so I'll defer to your analysis here. It's exactly those things that tend to separate the best qbs from average or even good ones.
  9. We all know you've been very critical of TT. Which is your right obviously. My question is why do you think he's so cash money? He wasn't making throws last night TT doesn't. You have to project what this guy will look like against NFL caliber defenders. His biggest throws last night were completions bc of the wr Williams making incredible catches not bc the throws were so perfect. Watson basically lobbed him up for Williams to make a play on--not really hard to do. I actually wish TT was more willing to give his guys chances like this, so I like that about Watson, but what about those throws were so awe inspiring? That's all I'm saying. Def seems like a good prospect but not a Manning like sure thing
  10. Turning the word conspiracy and the term conspiracy theorist into a negative thing was done by the CIA in order to prevent the asking of critical questions, especially of authority groups and figures.
  11. It was just so friggin stupid to hire a coach who would definitely be changing our defensive system. We FINALLY had a quality marriage of scheme and personnel, and we proceed to hire a coach who would require different personnel to run his scheme. As unprofessional as Mario was, I can see why he was like wtf and just lost heart in what the Bills were doing. Imo it wasn't even the fact that it was Rex Ryan in particular--any 3-4 coach or non 4-3 coach was going to set this team back. Absolute stupidest decision. We had our guy. Just promote Scwhartz and add some weapons to the offense--which we did--and we probably go 11-5 or 12-4 last year and this year. The Rex hire was almost as bad as extending Jauron for that last year.
  12. I really think you're off base w this pegulas only interested in money belief
  13. Wow this is shocking. I honestly thought we needed 11-5 and help bc of our bad afc record. This is interesting.
  14. Stupidest ongoing theory ever. You need to DEVELOP a quarterback. Almost none are NFL ready.
  15. Lol I thought this was a thread from like week 4 that had been revived, but no.... Unreal
  16. And you trust the medical community wholeheartedly because...?
  17. Haha got no response when you posted this exact line in the shout box so made a thread. Nice!
  18. I'm not saying Brady isn't great. He definitely is. And I respect how he's kept that chip on his shoulder for his entire career. But it's simply not possible for a human to be doing what he is doing physically at his age. He's basically aging backward like Benjamin Button or something. His nutrition regimen undoubtedly includes the most advanced stuff probably not even tested for yet by the NFL. A form of HGH ahead of the testing curve.
  19. This is what I think. So frustrating--this season has been totally derailed by serious injuries to many of our best players and most important ones. Healthy, with everyone on the same page, this roster could be special imo.
