  1. Except the steelers used to have gold (yellow) helmets. The black came later. They even wear the yellow helmets occasionally as throwbacks.
  2. Only if Eminem is riding shotty with a intimidating look on his face.
  3. What's more American than a reading of a founding document sandwiched between two beer commercials? That's right, nothing. Unless the actors in the beer commercials are shooting guns.
  4. They sacrifice so much for our entertainment, and what do they get? Nothin'. (Except fame, adulation, millions of dollars, and the occasional sedition accusation.)
  5. Tough enough on posters, but absolutely brutal on poor pop stars apparently.
  6. Well done - i stand corrected. Whether Aguilera is treasonous treasonist or a traitor or turncoat for flubbing a lyric is an important question to consider, and my embarrassing illiteracy will certainly kill the debate. My apologies to the entire pack of ornery moderators and their precious offended granddaughters for my insolence and limited vocabulary.
  7. She made a mistake singing a song and that's treasonous? (yeah it's treasonous, not "treasonist" - that's not a word). It's called perspective old timer. Get some. But i guess that's what America is all about: we can all have an opinion. No matter how irrational and reactionary it is.
  8. Wow i know it's superbowl sunday but some of you should really climb back underneath your rocks. /stay classy
  9. Don't worry bout that clown. It is a good question since that seems quite undervalued. I wish i had a good answer, but i suppose everyone judges talent differently. Thanks for posting the links.
  10. Is that you Marshawn? Stevie is awesome. Tweeted great things about Andre Reed recently too.
  11. baldwin is what? 6'6'' 240? I'd be ok with that in rd 2 too.
  12. If the Pack, Cowboys, or Steelers draft a skill position in rd 1, my money's on that guy(s)
  13. I'm not opposed to taking AJ Green even if none of those FA signings happen. Doubt Mallet will be there in rd 2 though.
  14. Again, In regards to that poll option - Buffalo shouldn't be in the business of trading away any picks to move up this draft. Not for locker, not for anyone.
  15. Jim Kelly...j/k. I'd have to agree with GOBILLS and say Namath probably doesn't deserve it. Good news is Andre made the cutdown to 10 so he'll probably get in next year. Still too long of a wait tho for a guy they basically had to invent a football statistic for: RAC
  16. Some snow may make travel a bit harder for the media and fans to get around super bowl week? Oh my, those poor souls. Deal with it. OP sounds like whiny ass Peter King complaining every chance he gets about the possibility of a cold Super Bowl. As if he's on vacation. Hey media: you're working the super bowl. You're getting paid and getting comped accommodations. Sorry it can't be bikinis and margaritas by the pool every year for you slobs - every 4 or 5 years you may have to deal with some less-than-tropical weather.
  17. Philosophy? Step 1: throw dart at draft board Step 2: ?????? Step 3: profit
  18. His teammates and coaches seem to have his back, that should count for something. And yes, i know Urlacher called him a B word last year shortly after he joined the bears, but even Brian seems to adamantly defend him now. Much of this hate from cutler seems to originate from his surliness with sports reporters. The reporters feel slighted, who in turn dog the guy in their articles, on TV, etc. Personally i respect cutler more for this - sports reporters aren't the most noble or agreeable bunch, and some are out and out scumbags of the highest order. Could Cutler be (or at least act like) a better teammate? Almost certainly. I don't think he or anyone deserves to be called a gash when his knee won't allow him to do his job. Look back at that game - he was throwing off his back leg a lot and wasn't looking too sharp when he was in. Pulling him out was the right move.
  19. For a fairly lean kid he's got a big arm and i like him. But the Bills can't be in the business of giving away picks this year to move back into the first. They've too many needs. If anything, Buffalo should be open to trading down and getting more picks. That's why i think it would be foolish to trade away picks to get back into the 1st and take Kaepernick, or anyone else for that matter.
  20. Don't think a tradeback is necessary to get kaepernick. He'll be there in the 2nd
  21. I don't agree with all your points McD, but I do admire your ability to rile up so many people.
  22. I think the vast majority of Buffalo would be fine with a black quarterback, just like the vast majority of any NFL city would be fine with it. Pockets of racists exist all over the place, including here. But don't paint this city as some backwater where racism is endemic. Again, some of you just need to put that card back in the deck for a while and give it a rest.
  23. Never heard of that equipment company; i doubt that enorsement is very high paying. If Vick was smart, he'd donate that endorsement check to the ASPCA.
  24. Regurgitating raw cap data seems a little simplistic and lazy for ESPN's official AFC East blogger.
  25. It really is a simplistic and irrelevant article for all the reasons others have pointed out above. Graham points out as much himself in it - pointing to the Bucs spending around the same amount of money as the Bills, but still winning 10 games.
