  1. No arguments from me and great post hopeful. Quite a "good ol' boy" network chan has going.
  2. Thanks. Thoner thinks if he makes his "points" loudly and obnoxiously, more people will agree with him. I'm convinced he has never actually watched a football game. And nothing against the OP, but san jose basically told you what's up when it comes to nnamdi. Like i said, he IS like deion, maybe better. No one tests him ever.
  3. Since you "hate DBs" would you rather just not cover opponents' receivers? God you're an idiot
  4. He is like primetime no one ever throws his way
  5. I'm glad buffalo could change Lights Out's mind. Now someone get him on a cycle or two in the offseason so he will actually get on the field next year.
  6. Good for shane. Oak sweeps the division and fires their head coach. Davis never ceases to amaze.
  7. Jesus. Doesn't surprise me you read easterbrook. And don't attribute that saying to that hack. It's been around for a long, long time.
  8. No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you stick around. Feel free to start your own forum with pages upon pages of threads on the same exact topic. See how liberating it is.
  9. Ending duplicate threads doesn't "annoy almost everyone" JPS. It only serves to streamline the board and make it less cluttered with obvious BS. Contrary to what u think, most of us appreciate mods closing duplicate threads and obvious trolling threads. (see buffalo barbarian)
  10. How does one emotionally connect to their receiving teammates so they will stop dropping the football that keeps hitting them in the hands? The fitz flavored kool aid grows stronger by the week.
  11. Reading bleacher report will rot your brain. Don't believe ANYTHING you read over there
  12. Please. Mallett's height is way, way down the list of concerns about him. One extra inch of height is inconsequential. The reason why there aren't many 6'7" successful qbs is because there aren't many 6'7"+ guys walking around period. It's a bad argument you're making. Live with it.
  13. Christ it's difficult to judge when the guy has had no time to throw and SO many drops. I agree with the Bledsoe comparison tho. Footwork sliding around in the pocket is a bit stiff.
  14. So if he was 1inch shorter he'd be fine? I call BS.
  15. Good find K and in honesty i personally don't agree with mcshay on those wild projections he gives certain players like gabbert. I just figured that for the most part he must know what he's doing since he still has a job and seems to be gaining popularity.
  16. I believe the draft advisory board's grades are not publicly released (of course they are routinely leaked). From what I've seen McShay's very high rating for gabbert is an anomaly. I haven't seen any other mock sites or draft articles rating him up there at #2 qb. This isn't new for McShay, who has had some wild projections in the past, but he seems to know what he's talking about for the most part. Gabbert is surely worth a long look from the bills.
  17. Whatever you say chief. Then at least answer the original poster's question. What do you give up for him if you're Nix? How would you determine a fair trade price? If it doesn't apply to someone so highly regarded like Luck, then to whom does the system apply? And how do teams determine the cut-off, i.e. When do they say this guy should be valuated at that pick but that guy shouldn't be?
  18. Yes, they are. There are values assigned to every single pick in the draft, starting with the very first pick. You can look it up yourself. Now, there are GMs in the league that adhere to the value board more closely than others, which is why teams sometimes have to "overpay" in terms of pick value to move up. But all the teams are aware of and use that chart to some degree. And it's a guideline. It can't "contemplate" anything.
  19. In terms of pointlessness, this discussion is far from the top compared to some of the other things discussed on this board.
  20. Draft picks are valuated. Look up those values and you can pretty much figure out what it would cost in terms of picks. Swap 1sts this year, 2nd round this year, 1 round next year.
  21. It would be nice to see at least a few own up to their BS once in a while. Football games are 60 min, not 30, last i checked. I don't know too many guys that get judged on 1st half numbers.
  22. I like bowers and would love that pick at 3. But i think you may be the only one left on earth that would use haynesworth and "low risk" in the same sentence. I have no idea why you would still think that after what has happened recently. You really want the bills to pay that guy's huge salary after his loony antics the past couple of years?
  23. And the haters quietly exited through the back. Funny how that always seems to happen. btw that was a top 15 defense luck dismanted tonight. So much for the "oh they don't play anyone out west so blah blah".
  24. When your sarcasm starts getting witty and amusing we will acknowledge it.
