  1. Yes! It worked! I can finally change my avatar!!!
  2. Yeah, but then he might wind up tearing the other achilles tendon!
  3. Or how about Lonnie Friggin Johnson looking back and getting his head knocked off! Otherwise, I vote for Bennie Anderson too.
  4. Not sure how to measure and compare the upside part, but after JP has started 30 games too would be a reasonable time to compare productivity.
  5. "His completion percentage of 60.48 is the best in Bills history, placing him ahead of renowned quarterbacks like Jim Kelly and Jack Kemp. Johnson also ranked first in Bills history for lowest interception percentage (2.56) and second in yards per attempt (7.24)." Why did they give Giants fans such false hope!
  6. I think they are under contract with Fremantle (American Idol owners) for a year, and the contract prohibits any activity that is deemed immoral. So we'll just have to wait a year.
  7. The whole thing (between the moment he was shot and the scene at the end when he was being wheeled to the ER) was a hallucination or dream or whatever goes through his mind.
  8. Ah, but isnt it ironic that in essence you have answered your own question as far as what the Bills success would have been with those picks. Your signature re Donahoe's 2nd round picks give a snapshot of the overall 'success' of his drafting. And THAT, not Losman alone or Losman for the most part, is what proved to be his undoing (not to mention the bad coaching picks but we'll leave that for another thread).
  9. So the fact the Bills went 3-4 in games Losman wasnt even on the field had nothing to do with it?
  10. sure they are. Go to 2nd page - 3rd bullet under "Around the League". http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9388328/1
  11. And this is just an example supporting Ralph's statement that the "new guard" of ownership cares less about football and more about making money.
  12. Actually, Detroit hasnt released him. They've only said that he will not be a part of the team next year and are actively shopping him around.
  13. Strangely enough, that was refreshing to read!
  14. I've gotten a few red hickeys in my youth!
  15. Whoo-hoo! Now we can beef up the practice squad!
  16. Have to admit, I thought of you and LV-Bills when i saw that line!
  17. Sorry if posted already, but didnt see it. See item #6 in the article. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5438096
  18. Hey, I've heard of him!
  19. He was an Exclusive Rights FA, no other team could make him an offer.
  20. Just sign Neal out of that lot and I'll be happy.
  21. LOL - I stand corrected!
  22. Your optimism and enthusiasm are commendable, but you also need to temper it with a good dose of reality. Our team has stunk (too put it mildly) for so many years now. They have not shown any consistent improvement. They have gone through coaching changes, mgmt changes, personnel changes and we still wind up heartbroken at the end of every season. And the one constant glaring weakness, season after season, has never been satisfactorally (sp) addressed - the O Line. And unfortunately, this off season that trend seems to be continuing. The state of most of us, I would say, is more "show me the proof" than blindly shouting "yay team!", and you cant fault anyone for that.
  23. Gotta give the man (or kid) props for "the putrid Benny Anderson". That made me chuckle.
