  1. I want the young guys to get their shot, but this fanbase of all fanbase should know the importance of special teams. Between Steve Tasker’s contributions and heartbreaking losses due to ST breakdowns, I have seen the value in having a unit you can trust to make all of the plays when the pressure is ratcheted up to the highest level in the biggest spotlight. The organization knows this, and these veteran ST aces are making the 53 without a second thought.
  2. Well the Jets franchise is a dumpster fire, so I guess it makes sense that their QB has burst into flames.
  3. You can listen live to WGR through the radio button on the Bills app…not sure if games are blacked out online though. If you have SiriusXM they might carry it, again not sure about preseason broadcasts.
  4. Lots of broken hips in pickleball...falls and osteoporosis are a poor combination. In the 'old days' of four preseason games it was always the penultimate game that the starters saw the most action, and then they were rested in the final game as the last spots on the roster were up for grabs. If I were to guess I would say that Josh and the majority of starters see little to no action next week in Carolina.
  5. Not saying it should, but thinking it may have.
  6. Last year the third preseason game was the only home game. I am guessing with the third preseason game down in Carolina this year they are getting the starters in for the home fans.
  7. McD indicating that Josh is going to play this weekend.
  8. I was wondering how many sacks Bruce would rack up if he was playing alongside Von, Oliver and the rest of this line. I’d probably go with 7, which really isn’t too bad considering he’s almost 60 years old 😉
  9. More Moss power running from early last year…this is the player that needs to show up.
  10. Doesn't help that KC came to OP in the 2020 empty stadium season.
  11. Washington makes sense as well with the Ron Rivera connection...completely agree with your logic here. Added bonus with the Giants...any Bills bubble players that have a bad game can just catch the Giants charter back to New Jersey.
  12. That shank-fest was in typical (poor) late-season Buffalo weather. There is no reason to believe Haack would do any better this season when we get late into the year and the weather goes downhill. The obvious hope is that Araiza has the leg strength to kick through the wind/rain/snow/hail/monsoon similar to Josh's arm strength. Guess we won't know until we see it...
  13. I for one am looking forward to Brandt's pod...was supposed to debut last week but nothing has dropped yet. Josh Allen Tuesdays? Yes please.
  14. Moss played well enough as a rookie in 2020 to take lead back duties from Motor, then he busted up his ankle in the Colts playoff game. Watch his2020 highlight reel and you see a lot of broken tackles, yards after contact and moving of the pile. He also shows better speed than last season, good vision in the open field and a nose for the end zone. Obviously these are the highlights and we aren't seeing any of the bad Moss, but he showed enough as a rookie to create some legitimate buzz going into year 2. According to Beane, Moss was never fully healthy last year though, so the drop off can at least be explained. Hopefully we're getting the 2020 Moss this season.
  15. He looked like the 2020 Moss who we were all impressed with, gaining chunk yards after contact...if if it was contact with his own team.
  16. So you aren’t expecting much from DaQuan Jones I take it?
  17. I remember players were wearing them last year in camp as well...not sure if it was mandated then though.
  18. Here's the problem with what you are saying...if the Bills bring in OBJ it wouldn't be Kumerow that gets bumped at WR, it would more likely be whoever the low man in the actual receiver rotation after the signing (Crowder?). What value does a player like Crowder provide behind Diggs/Davis/OBJ/McKenzie/Shakir? Kumerow's ST contributions are much greater. Siran Neal actually contributes as big nickle and the Bills clearly value him based on the contract they just gave him this offseason. I have Taron, Jackson, Elam and Benford ahead of him (assuming Tre is not available) and Neal beats out Cam Lewis for the final CB spot. I certainly do count Gilliam as one of the RB's and I would be surprised if the don't keep five...likely the five you mention in Motor, Cook, Moss, Taiwan and Gilliam. Doesn't mean they are all active on game day by any means, but they are all making this team.
  19. Perhaps more egregious than McCorkle at 85 is the fact that the players ballots only list 1 through 20...so he was getting votes as a top 20 player in the NFL. FFS.
  20. The thing is the Bills' elite special teamers are holding positions like 6th string WR, 5th string LB, 5th string RB and 5th string CB. These aren't positions that make a difference on offense or defense, or at least we damn well hope they don't.
  21. I thought the same. Lots of folks saying that they didn't see anything out of Cook, but that 5 yard run inside the 10 looked promising, especially considering he was running behind the backup-ish O Line.
