  1. It won't end when Tommy retires unless Bill Bellyache retires at the same time. If not, the train keeps rolling. He's 13-6 in games without Tommy.
  2. Tony Room let the "Gillette Clock" comment slip out.
  3. You are what your record says you are. After week 1, when is a team healthy? Football is a game of attrition. When a guy lays an egg in a big game, its cause for concern. Not impressed.
  4. Hotrod, of course
  5. I remember but I'm still not buying they didn't do it. Is he the only guy with a video camera? They're like the kid you used to play checkers with that would say, hey, look over there, and when you did he or she rearranged the checkers. After a couple of times, you were always suspicious they're cheating. I don't trust them and assume they are cheating until proven otherwise. Do you think they've only cheated twice? Spygate and Tommy's deflated football's? Do you think they've stopped cheating?
  6. What is your factual basis to refute what I said?
  7. Prove it. I'm going to say it was because of all the other shenanigans they do it just makes sense that they did. Marshall Faulk tells a story of how in SB preparation they put in a new formation and play they had never run all season. When they lined up in it, NE had the perfect defense called. Just because NE is so doggone good? Or he's just jealous? I doubt it. But a person can believe whatever they want I guess. Again, we'll never know for sure because the tapes were destroyed.
  8. Why would KC do this? I though the whole trade Alex thing was due to them being in bad cap shape. Hotrod and Alex make about the same.
  9. Usually on a play such as this, the refs will let it play out and then check the replay. Slicing and dicing down like that is ridiculous. They found one frame where you can say maybe I guess. Roger destroyed the tapes because they also had Super Bowl walkthrough footage of the Rams and Eagles at least. Maybe the Panthers too.
  10. Here are 2 cases of the Gillette clock mysteriously stopping at 1 second before half or 2:00 warning giving the Cheaters** an extra play. The clock stops at 2:01well before the ref signals for timeout. Even Tony Romo mentioned this one and acted like it was a known phenomenon, "The Gillette Clock".
  11. A couple of points. In the Tommy era, the Cheaters** have gone 13-6 with Matt Classel, Jimmy G, and Jacoby Brisset at QB. Just because a coach starts out as a defensive coach does not mean he doesn't know offense too. Tom Landry was a defensive back/defensive coordinator for the NY Giants before getting the Dallas job. He was known primarily as an offensive genius in Dallas. He brought such offensive new tactics to the game still used today like the shotgun and putting players in motion before the snap for example. His offenses were innovative and dominant during the 20 straight winning seasons.
  12. I remember Rob Johnson very well. I still have my RJ jersey. What I don't remember is when he threw 27 TDs and 2 ints in one season or when he was the man under in 2 playoff wins. I do remember one playoff game he played in however ...
  13. Why does he need to congratulate anyone after the game? He's a ref,not a fan boy, or shouldn't be anyway IMHO. Send him an edible bouquet next week if you must "congratulate" him somehow. They should avoid even the perception of partiality.
  14. 93 yards. You don't think we should judge a QBs worth based on his lowest passing yards game?
  15. Russell Wilson passed for 93 yards on Christmas Eve in Dallas.
  16. Rob Johnson Watson Wentz Way too early to these guys too.
  17. When did if not work for us? What game(s) did we blow a lead late "playing not to lose"?
  18. It was my idea to get Hotrod on the team. I suggested in a thread in early 2015 that we should sign a FA QB that has been a backup on another team with a good QB for a few years. I suggested either Hotrod or Kellen Moore. I think we made the right choice. I wanted to draft Colin Kaepernick. I've been a fan of his since he was playing for the Nevada Wolfpack. I'd sign him tomorrow if it were up to me. I liked Ftiz a lot at first and thought he could be our guy. Made a lot of comebacks early on, but later just threw a lot of picks in crucial situations. Of course he had perhaps even worse WRs than we did this year. I like JP better than Trent. Flutie and Fred are my all time favorite Bills. I became a fan in 1996. It was like a knife in the back when both were cut. Had we started Flute in Nashville we very may well have gone to SB that year IMHO. Roger Staubach is my favorite QB of all times. The man was a great thrower and an impeccable leader and the king of the come back. I'd take him in his prime over anyone else in their prime.
  19. True. But I have seen several games this year where he looks like he wish he were somewhere else. I think he may be losing the love of the game he once had. After the season I wouldn't be surprised if he hangs 'em up.
  20. Depends on if Bill Bellyache retires too or not. The Cheats** are 13-6 without Tommy under center in the Tommy era.
  21. They're refs, not fans. or at least they shouldn't be anyway. If they can't put their fandom down at the game, they have no place being refs IMHO. They should avoid even the perception of partiality.
  22. New England was the beneficiary of 98 penalty yards while being flagged just once for six yards. The Jaguars also had a potential touchdown taken away when Myles Jack's recovery of a Dion Lewis fumble was mysteriously whistled dead. I also noticed some Gillete clock shenanigans right before the 2:00 warning as well.
