A couple of points. In the Tommy era, the Cheaters** have gone 13-6 with Matt Classel, Jimmy G, and Jacoby Brisset at QB. Just because a coach starts out as a defensive coach does not mean he doesn't know offense too. Tom Landry was a defensive back/defensive coordinator for the NY Giants before getting the Dallas job. He was known primarily as an offensive genius in Dallas. He brought such offensive new tactics to the game still used today like the shotgun and putting players in motion before the snap for example. His offenses were innovative and dominant during the 20 straight winning seasons.

Why does he need to congratulate anyone after the game? He's a ref,not a fan boy, or shouldn't be anyway IMHO. Send him an edible bouquet next week if you must "congratulate" him somehow. They should avoid even the perception of partiality. -

Why Marrone and Hackett Still Suck

When did if not work for us? What game(s) did we blow a lead late "playing not to lose"? -
It was my idea to get Hotrod on the team. I suggested in a thread in early 2015 that we should sign a FA QB that has been a backup on another team with a good QB for a few years. I suggested either Hotrod or Kellen Moore. I think we made the right choice. I wanted to draft Colin Kaepernick. I've been a fan of his since he was playing for the Nevada Wolfpack. I'd sign him tomorrow if it were up to me. I liked Ftiz a lot at first and thought he could be our guy. Made a lot of comebacks early on, but later just threw a lot of picks in crucial situations. Of course he had perhaps even worse WRs than we did this year. I like JP better than Trent. Flutie and Fred are my all time favorite Bills. I became a fan in 1996. It was like a knife in the back when both were cut. Had we started Flute in Nashville we very may well have gone to SB that year IMHO. Roger Staubach is my favorite QB of all times. The man was a great thrower and an impeccable leader and the king of the come back. I'd take him in his prime over anyone else in their prime.

True. But I have seen several games this year where he looks like he wish he were somewhere else. I think he may be losing the love of the game he once had. After the season I wouldn't be surprised if he hangs 'em up.

Depends on if Bill Bellyache retires too or not. The Cheats** are 13-6 without Tommy under center in the Tommy era.

They're refs, not fans. or at least they shouldn't be anyway. If they can't put their fandom down at the game, they have no place being refs IMHO. They should avoid even the perception of partiality. -

New England was the beneficiary of 98 penalty yards while being flagged just once for six yards. The Jaguars also had a potential touchdown taken away when Myles Jack's recovery of a Dion Lewis fumble was mysteriously whistled dead. I also noticed some Gillete clock shenanigans right before the 2:00 warning as well. -

Michael Jordon is better at basketball and Tommy is better at football. Maybe we could settle it with a bake off. -

There's an election in 10 months. It's political football season. -
Whaley should have told Rex to put 11 guys out there on D When I replied I wasn't 100% sure who Whaley drafted or acquired. But I think my comments are still valid. Doug was the GM. He was in charge of the roster. All of these guys that were still playing Sunday were on his roster and were since jettisoned by the new regime. Sammy would no doubt have helped our offense this year even if he only played in 1/2 the games. When Mr. Big Stuff left our run D when in the tank and Jacksonville's got better. Whatever on the contract stuff. You get what you pay for. Quality players cost more. You win with great players. He was our GM in our first winning season in 10 years. Doug left the Bills in a whole lot better shape personnel wise than he found them. I give him credit for that.

I'm totally not looking forward to have that Jean Skeletetore doing the SB. He thinks he's a rock star or something. His piece of paper schtick was silly. He's the new Guns. I'm sure he'll make sure to get a lot of face time. -
[Vague Title]I believe this.

I think if we had kept Sammy we may have been able to scratch out 1more win. Sammy would probably run the right route and catch the football vs Panthers for example. Maybe our run D doesn't evaporate after the Mr Big Stuff trade and we beat the Jets maybe? Team would have been underdogs and was predicted to win 4 games BEFORE the trades. Coach McDermott would have been able to sell the underdog/everyone says we can't win schtick just as easily with those guys still on the team imho
