  1. Not to be overconfident, but I really don't think we're gonna have a lot of problems making the playoffs. Therefore, assuming we'll make the playoffs, I would stick with what's working now. That way, we can see how our strengths match up against a good team like the Eagles. If we aren't strong enough, then that gives us a better plan should we see them again. Stick with the strong run game. IMO
  2. I really preferred your last avatar pic. This one kinda looks like she has 2 bald guys in head-locks.
  3. He almost had a TD on his second pick as well. Had he been able to get by the TE, he had an open field all the way in. Next week will be the first real test, but so far in 3 games this season, the Meatballs have given up an amazing 3 total points, while scoring an astonishing 99 points!!!
  4. Meatballs Win big....Again. Incredible game from Pico. Changing those settings gave him two picks and a TD!!!
  5. George Martin's series: A Song of Ice and Fire
  6. De only ting Karl Malone nose about the Innernet, is dat Karl Malone gets da ball inner net. [/Jimmy Kimmel]
  7. That's kinda what I was thinking. Although since he is a FS, perhaps I should leave him on pass first? (but still drop his aggressiveness on INT's) He'll just be a step late responding to the run, but with our D-line and LB's, he doesn't get to make many run tackles anyway. But I'll listen to whatever my coach says
  8. Speaking of INT's, I changed Pico's advanced tactics to be aggressive when going for an INT, and playing pass first. He had been in the middle settings on both of those before. If you think that's a bad idea, let me know.
  9. I didn't say they didn't play anyone that is any good. I said the played weaker competition. And looking at overall schedules, they did. 4 games a year against above average to good competition isn't what I would call a strong schedule. I wouldn't consider any of those teams in 06 all that amazing. Being in OK, I would also chuckle a little at OSU being called good/strong competition. But at least their coach "is a Man", and he's "40". A conference such as the SEC, Big 10, Big 12(especially South), consistently play other good teams week in and week out for about 8 weeks of the season. Troy is only playing half as many "good" teams a year as these other schools. So I'm not sure my comment is quite so asinine.
  10. I have trouble calling either of those two "top-end". I didn't give this an F, but I didn't give it an A either. Do they fill immediate needs? I hope so. I wasn't all that excited about any of the WR or CB's in this draft personally. So to me, getting the best of the class doesn't mean a whole lot. I hope I'm wrong and they turn out to be great, but we'll see. The CB we drafted to me looks an awful lot like what's already on the team, and the WR we drafted hopefully puts in a lot of work here in the preseason, because I think he has a whole lot to learn to become a good pro.
  11. I thought we were going to know our draft sucked when all the professionals gave us A's? We hate em when they hate us and love em when they love us.
  12. I'm really struggling to see how this was a good draft for the Bills. We start off by picking an undersized returner that played against weaker competition in college who we HOPE will be able to come in and replace a first year starter by injury in Greer. Next we draft a tall receiver with decent speed who runs poor routes and has trouble getting off the line. Two important areas for a receiver IMO. Then we draft a walking suspension at DE instead of addressing a serious area of concern at TE. Then we draft another DB who is a project, instead of addressing a serious issue of concern at TE. The we draft a slew of ST'ers and future practice squad players, and probably some who will never make it that far. We went into the draft with glaring holes at WR, TE, , CB, C, backup O-line, backup D-line, and backup LB. We tried to address 2 out of the first 3, but I'm not sure we really came away with sure things at either position. I'm skeptical our #11 CB will be that much of an improvement over the CB's we already have. It seems like we drafted a McGee clone. I'm very skeptical that more than 1 or two of these guys will be productive starters for the Bills in 3 years. My gut feeling is the the Bills FO dropped the ball in this draft.
  13. If we want a TE, we may have to go get one. Out of the three left, Rucker, IMO is the best one left. While he's an ok blocker, they said he had the best hands of the TE's in his class. We really need a TE. I would love to see them come away with no less than Rucker.
  14. My only concern is he really that much better than our current CB duo? Mcgee, although good at making tackles, drops a lot of easy ints. Greer is young and inexperienced, but played well for a first time starter. I'd hate for this guy to come into camp, and really struggle to take over the starting CB spot. For an 11 pick, I'd be a little disappointed if he didn't quickly (before the season is over) take over our #1 CB spot. I'll wait for the Hardy thread to post my concerns on him. I'm just hoping that we didn't come away from day 1 with the best CB, who may be barely better than what we currently have, and the 2nd-3rd best WR who may not be much better than what we currently have (there are serious concerns about his routes and off the line abilities). Being the best in your class doesn't mean much if you're in a weak class. (Guess I didn't really wait for the Hardy thread ) But they're Bills now, so here's to hoping they're as good as we hope.
  15. You gotta be kidding me. I'm already having to watch this draft (in between their stupid NASCAAR) with at my moronic in-laws, and then they pick a CB at #11? This day sucks. The best CB in the draft, and I'm not really sure if he is much of an upgrade over what we already have. And my stupid Cheifs friends are gonna be goin crazy with how their draft has gone so far. Dorsey & Albert. C'mon. I'm blaming all this on my in-laws.
  16. Seriously though. I really can't see how the Chef could give us something better than the Iggles. Perhaps this is the incentive the Iggles need to give up their third in the deal as well.
  17. Apparently Clayton hasn't been hitting refresh on TBD. We've got a much better trade already set up here.
  18. You should actually change it to McShitbag. People would love you for it.
  19. The sole reason I clicked on this thread was to see your avatar.
  20. I get jokes sometimes. I really do.
  21. Do I think a WR will be there in the third? Yeah. Will it be Nelson? Who knows, possibly. Fortunately the other NFL teams don't read TBD regularly and probably didn't catch his most recent ball washing thread, so they likely don't know how good he is.
