ike taylor is #24, and he was matched up with larry fitzgerald on that play 1-on-1. james harrison was on the left side of the field, away from fitz/taylor, in pursuit of fitzgerald.
boo to college overtime rules. for one thing, it's going to skew the statistics. for another thing, like someone said earlier, "if it aint broke, then don't fix it".
you lose the coin toss in OT? Then stop the other team with your defense.
please explain to me how that link goes against what I said.
and, additionally, you don't even need to have your safeties being the ones dropping back to make it a cover 2. all it means is that 2 people are covering the back halves of the field.
drc made a few plays this game, but good god, did santonio holmes abuse him. i think cromartie played worse this game than any game mckelvin played in this year.
agree. since we play this kitty cover-2 and we have no pass rush, it doesn't matter how beastly our linebackers are because they're all going to be dropping into zones.
bad, bad, bad move to have them single-blocking james harrison so much w/ gandy. that being said, gandy looked way better as a tackle for AZ than he ever did in buffalo.
interesting note about this fact: Buffalo's D allowed less points than Dallas' (342-365). You'd think that with such a dominating defensive effort by one player, that their defense would be better than Buffalo's in regards to points allowed...
while I think that Williams is a very good back, I can't help but wonder if Carolina's O-line is making Williams look better than he actually is. Jonathan Stewart had great numbers also.
and on the flip side, with trent being injury prone, the bills are taking a lot of risk by potentially extending and devoting money to a walking injury.
dang. everything i'm reading about raji makes me want the bills to draft him more and more.
i've only seen him once, this year bc/fsu, and he manhandled FSU's offensive line.
